Chapter 367: 367: Go Rent Another Room Again

This dinner was somewhat awkward to eat.

The most frustrated was certainly Chen Wanqing since Ouyang Huihui followed Luo Ziling over, none of her plans could be carried out.

Her meticulously crafted plan for today ended with her providing a free dinner for Luo Ziling and Ouyang Huihui and teaching them English for half an hour.

She threw the fruit brought by Luo Ziling into the trash bin and even threatened to cause trouble for Ouyang Huihui.

Once she calmed down, she made a call to Chen Jiahai and roughly explained the situation of the day.

“A girl named Ouyang Huihui, quite beautiful with a good figure, the recent popular figure on campus.”

When Chen Wanqing mentioned that the person with Luo Ziling was Ouyang Huihui, Chen Jiahai on the other end of the phone hesitated for a moment and then asked Chen Wanqing a few more detailed questions before hanging up the call.

Chen Jiahai actually didn’t blame her, which surprised Chen Wanqing.

But she knew there must be a reason why Chen Jiahai hung up the phone so hastily, and she felt somewhat regretful as she hadn’t made any assurances to him yet.

Tomorrow night, she wouldn’t invite Luo Ziling over for dinner again, to cook and exhaust herself. In case something happened again, it would be too tiring for her.

She would order takeout or just buy something from the cafeteria.

After Luo Ziling and Ouyang Huihui left, Ouyang Huihui immediately said to him, “I asked my sister just now, and she didn’t arrange for Chen Wanqing to tutor you in English. She just asked your department head to take care of you and have the head make arrangements.”

“So that’s how it is,” Luo Ziling smiled but didn’t know what else to say.

“Anyway, I think this female teacher has bad intentions; she might have some ulterior motives. She is too bewitching, even I feel seduced by her,” Ouyang Huihui intentionally provoked Luo Ziling, “Of course, if you’re interested in such a married woman, then pretend I didn’t say anything.”

“I’m not interested,” Luo Ziling quickly retorted, “I just didn’t want to reject her enthusiasm and kindness.”

“You should just learn English with me. I don’t think I am necessarily worse than her,” Ouyang Huihui took the opportunity to promote herself, “My sister and I both have excellent English skills, we could communicate fluently with foreigners when we were in junior high. We never need to hire a translator when we go abroad.”

At this point, Ouyang Huihui became a bit proud, “I not only understand English, but I also know French, German, Japanese, though not as fluent as my English.”

“Why do you learn so many languages?” Luo Ziling seemed very surprised.

“I have a talent for languages,” Ouyang Huihui grew even prouder, tilting her head slightly higher, “I originally intended to apply to a university of foreign languages, but in the end, I chose to study here.”

“That’s quite regrettable,” Luo Ziling echoed.

“What’s there to regret,” Ouyang Huihui originally wanted to say that if she had gone to a foreign language university, she might not have met Luo Ziling, but saying that out loud felt different, so she ended up not saying it. “Alright, it’s time to keep your promise and treat me, right?”

“Fine,” Luo Ziling agreed, “While I was revising English just now, I wrote a prescription. Take it and get the medicine prepared accordingly. After taking it for a while, there should be no problem.”

As he spoke, Luo Ziling handed the secretly written prescription to Ouyang Huihui.

Ouyang Huihui didn’t take it but decided to be difficult: “I don’t know anything about this, I’ve never decocted medicine before. Why can’t you just help me get the medicine?”

“Why are you always such a pain?” Luo Ziling had never encountered such a situation before, he hesitated with the prescription in hand and couldn’t help but complain.

“I could treat you to a huge meal,” Ouyang Huihui pouted and started attacking with sweet promises, “How about I treat you to a late-night snack later, and now I accompany you to buy the medicine?”

“Alright, I’ll go with you to get the medicine,” Luo Ziling reluctantly agreed, “No need for late-night snacks. I had a late dinner, and I’m full enough, I won’t go out to eat.”

“Then accompany me to buy the medicine first,” Ouyang Huihui said, as she tried to take Luo Ziling’s hand.

“Don’t pull and drag,” Luo Ziling shook off Ouyang Huihui’s hand, “Let’s go!”

Ouyang Huihui didn’t mind and followed behind Luo Ziling. The two left the campus through the side entrance and arrived at a Chinese medicine shop near the school. After purchasing the medicine according to the prescription, Luo Ziling was ready to head back to campus.

“Treating you is really troublesome, now I even have to help you buy medicine,” Luo Ziling was somewhat miffed as he handed over the package of medicine to Ouyang Huihui, “I don’t have space in my dorm to decoct medicine, you’d better go home and do it yourself, remember, simmer it gently over a low flame.”

Ouyang Huihui originally wanted Luo Ziling to help her decoct the medicine but hearing what he said, she ended up grudgingly taking it with a huff.

“Let’s go back!”

“What about the treatment you’re supposed to give me? When does it start?” Ouyang Huihui was not ready to go back to school just yet.

“Where to?” Luo Ziling almost forgot, but Ouyang Huihui’s reminder made him remember that he still had to give Ouyang Huihui some manipulative treatment.

Manipulative treatment required a private space, which was not easy to find.

“Why don’t we, maybe go rent a room again?” Ouyang Huihui suggested in a soft voice.

This time, Ouyang Huihui’s suggestion was noticeably less confident, lacking the boldness she had when she suggested renting a room after Luo Ziling got injured the other time.

Luo Ziling was taken aback by Ouyang Huihui’s suggestion and rejected it without hesitation. He had already rented a room with Ouyang Huihui twice and although nothing scandalous happened as people might imagine, the incidents that did occur were pretty embarrassing.

If they went to rent a room today, the process of giving her manipulative treatment would surely lead to embarrassing situations again.

Of course, that wasn’t very important. What mattered was that it would be extremely awkward if someone found out about it.

Seeing that Luo Ziling was giving her a weird look, Ouyang Huihui’s face flushed with a mix of shame and annoyance, she said, “What are you looking at? Don’t get the wrong idea, I just want you to help with the treatment.”

“No way,” Luo Ziling refused categorically, “I’m not going to rent a room with you.”

Ouyang Huihui heard a different implication in Luo Ziling’s words and couldn’t help getting really angry, she shouted in annoyance, “Are you going or not? Do you want to help me with the treatment or not?”

After thinking for a moment, it suddenly dawned on Luo Ziling, and he turned to Ouyang Huihui and said, “Let’s go, move it!”
