Chapter 6: Game & Drinks

"C'mon Quinn, don't be mad. I know the right way to release all your tension." Maxine whispered in my ear right after she has potted the last ball, winning the game.

I glared away from her. I survey my surroundings, finding Col in an animated discussion with his friend.

"Oh, don't worry. I'm pretty much able to release it on my own if you just give 'it' back to me." I still can't believe she has taken my vibrator.

She passes her tongue through her teeth and finishes it moistening her bottom lip with her tongue, painfully slow.

I admire her inviting lips. How I haven't noticed how kissable they are?

Siguro dahil puro kagaguhan lumalabas sa labi niya kaya 'di ko napapansin.

"You see" she starts, now leaning on the pool table to get closer to my ear again. "I can't do that, not without being sure you know how to use it."

I'm outraged, she's daring. Is she proposing to teach me how to use it?

I gasp and stumble, wanting to move away. I'm suddenly clumsy and needing to catch my lost breath.

The way she moistens her lips it's promising. It makes me want to move closer again and kiss her.

I'm thinking about things I shouldn't be thinking about right now. At least not here, in the presence of col.

I wonder how good she is. She must know exactly what to do. She screams confidence. Her eyes are sparkling with the idea.

Distracted, I don't see her coming closer again. I welcome her scent, more than her cologne. I'm now able to identify the fruity smell, it's strawberry mixed with fresh mint. And It should be weird, but it's somehow alluring. The combination makes me more attracted to her. I'm curious, dangerously curious.

Gusto ko siyang tikman.

I ignore the feeling, acting indifferent. We can't flirt in front of Col. Plus, I won't let her win this time, she has already won enough tonight.

"You must know how to use it since you're already using it on yourself. I'll let you enjoy it, you must like it a lot. Kahit d mo na ibalik max". I feign being unaffected, avoiding his amused gaze.

I run off to the bar. If I'll have to hear this all night long, I'll need something strong to drink.

I'm not in a rush, so I wait patiently at the corner of the bar, trying not to call the bartender's attention. I need time. I can't face her just yet.

When everyone has ordered their drinks, I request a strong one. In the middle of the first sip, I already regretted it. Half of it is vodka, it's too much.

I must have lingered for at least 35 minutes at the bar. When I go back, I don't find anyone at the pool table. Searching for them around the pub, I spotted Col and Max talking with two girls. Ay mali, I mean flirting with two girls. They're on a high table, the ones you have to stand up and just support your drinks on it, no chairs to sit.

The girl flirting with Max is very close to her. I can see, even from afar, she touches her on the shoulder in every opportunity she gets. 'Di ko alam kung nag eenjoy ba siya sa ginagawa ng babae pero d niya ginagantihan ung pag salat na ginagawa nito sakanya.

I avoid their table, looking around for my classmates. I found them on a table just in front. They're discussing, so I joined them.

"Hey, guys numeron?"

"Hey, Quinn" sabi ni Mark habang tumatawa. I'm happy to see they're having fun. Mark signs for me to take a place.

"We're talking about the physics class today. How everything the teacher explained was related to sex."

Putangina naman.

I stare at them, were they talking about it the whole time? Or did they just switch to this topic when I came to their table?

"I can't get over how bizarre it was. I've never attended a class like that, and she was clueless about the whole thing," Liam states.

"Yeah, I know. When she kept moving her hands on the cylinder, I couldn't stop thinking to myself that she would take a condom from her pocket and change the class to Sexual Orientation." Pabiro kong sinabi.

They burst out laughing and I couldn't avoid laughing either.

Taking a sip of my drink and glancing in front of me I found Maxine staring. The girl keeps flirting and touching her, yet she doesn't seem to mind. Her stare morphs into a glare. Suddenly she's not happy with something d ko alam kung saan or kanino. I figured she's not even listening to what the girl is saying. She's laughing with one hand on her biceps, and she remains completely serious glaring at me.

I continue discussing with the guys, they're quite fun.

Mark is doing chemistry engineering because he wants to work on criminal investigation. It's pretty different, he wants to work with crime scene analysis and help solve them. Very NCIS of him.

Liam wants to work in an oil company. He mentioned his brother works in one and the money is pretty good. He would like to work for a while on an offshore platform, to make money and have a good experience.

I watch Maxine once in a while. My eyes automatically find her and catch her staring back at me. She's still talking with the girl, who still is all over her, but she doesn't even glance in her way. It's just confusing, and it makes me uncomfortable.

We keep discussing for a while. Lucas only does small talk, never giving too much information about himself, just complementing whatever we say. He's very attentive though. He doesn't look shy. I assume he doesn't like to share too much about himself.

Liam offers to come with me to the bar to take another drink. And right after we left the table, he places his hand on my lower back. I glance at it, a bit uneasy, but decide to ignore it and proceed to the bar.

We walk to the bar without talking. I don't even dare to look at him. I'm still unsure if he just make a move on me or not. I'm off of the dating scene for a long time. Well, let's face it, I never knew much about flirting and dating. My experience is close to zero. I've kissed two guys all my life.

The first one was a nobody. I just wanted to have my first kiss, because all my friends had it already. So, I just kissed a random guy at a random party, I don't even know his name. I was 15 years old, it was awful. It was floppy and slobbery.

The second one was Jeremy. And after we kissed, we started to date, making him my only dating experience.

Arriving at the bar Liam kept his hand on my back while he orders two beers. But before the bartender gives it to us, someone takes my right arm, pulling me away from Liam.

Liam's hand falls from my back and both of us turn to look at who is pulling me. I gulp, finding myself facing Maxine. She seems annoyed when she pulls me even closer to her.

"Come on Quinn, uuwi na tayo." She tells me, now staring at Liam.

"H-huh? Bakit?"

"Basta we're leaving. Now!"

It's a command and not an invitation. I glare at her before I look around, not knowing what to do. I'm bothered by her action, but when I take my phone to check the time I'm surprised to find it's already past midnight. I groan remembering I have classes tomorrow morning. I totally forgot about the time.

"Hoy, Kakaorder ko lang kaya! I'll drink it first!"

"No, Bigay mo na sa mga kaibigan mo yn. We're leaving." I glance around Nasan kaya si col. I assume it's her doings. It was probably her, who asked her friend to come and escort me for some odd reason.

I want to ask about it, but gave up nung nakita ko si maxine na nakatitig lang sakin. Ano bang meron? bat ba bad mood siya? And pwede bang tigilan niya na oanggagago niya sakin??

"We need to go na, quinn!" Maxine states once again.

"Teka lang naman, Manok na pula, may ginagawa pa ko oh." I inform her. She's very impatient, Ayaw niyang naghihintay

"Here, nanjan na sa phone mo number ko hehe, bye liam!" I tell him after typing my number as fast as I could.

"Bye Quinn! Ingat!" Liam replies.

"Okay, Max. Dahan-dahan pahingahin mo naman kamay ko pls?" I request annoyed at her behavior. She's taking me to the exit, pulling me by my arm. In no time we're out of it.

"Asan ba si col ha?" I scan the street, trying to find him. But i can't find him anywhere.

"Umalis siya kasama ung girl." I look at Maxine not understanding her at all. I thought Col had requested her to find me.

"Uh, Akala ko sasama ka din sa babae mo kanina."

"I'm not interested in her;" She stops facing me.

"Hindi naman kita pwedeng pabayaan na umuwi mag-isa diba?"
