Chapter 10

1 vs 5

[Classroom Of The Elite] Ayanokoji X Horikita

“Kiyotaka, listen.”

That scene replays in my head.

“You must take action when necessary."

The memory of that man.

“The brain is not solely capable of thinking,”

The man I hate the most.

“The brain is also capable of fighting!”

I am reminded once again: I must overcome anything in my way, no matter how minor or major.

2 men simultaneously charges at me. One attempting to swing a punch to my left, and one attempting to swing a kick to my right.

“Man 1: Approaching 11 o clock. Arm status, 40 degrees north east,” I mutter, “Man 2: Approaching 1 o clock. Leg status, 140 degrees south west. Both simultaneous, both equal of distance, estimated time before reaching: 1 and a half seconds. That means-"

I take a step forward. I spot a flaw in their techniques. And so, I exploit it.

I spread my right arm to the right, and lower my head. Finally, they reach me, and so-

I dodge the man's punch who is to my left, and clobber the man to my right with the arm I had spread out. The kick he had attempted to impact me had been too low in angle, allowing me to evade it with a single step to the left.

For now, I must've inflicted heavy damage to one person, however, the other man still stands.

“Oh, impressive! You took one of us out already, eh? And also dodged my attack?”

Another 2 men out of the 3 that was observing enters.

“You were too slow, that’s all.”

“Hoh? Then, how can you deal with 3 people at once?”

With one still observing and one on the ground, 3 men stands before me, activating their stance.

“That will be a child's play for adults who can't fight."

Just like before, all three charges simultaneously. After measuring the angles of every inch of their body, I pounce again.

When one is running, their eyes focus solely on the end of their paths. Then, all I have to do I simply change my path as fast as I can and catch them off guard.

The man sprinting towards me has his eyes fixated on me. To take him to ground, I leap towards the right and allow him to run past me. Just as he does so, I spot an opening.

Not to inflict damage, but to prepare for more damage.

I grab the collar of his jacket and cease his movements.

Just as he loses his footing, I observe my surroundings again.

“180 degrees, eh?”

A man from behind jumps my way.

Before he impacts me, I turn around and hurl the body handled by my hand into the lunging weakling.

Both impacting mid-air, I move back to once again observe my surroundings.

The third man lunges, as if he had not learnt the lesson displayed in front of his eyes...

Though, the agility of his feet exceeds my expectations. He closes the gap within milliseconds and flung his fist toward my abdomen. Stiffening both of my arms, I block his punch whilst feeling little to no pain. He hurls yet another punch, persistently trying to wound me. This time, I move away and distance ourselves to make a few calculations in my head.

However, he spares no time for me to think.

Taking his agility to his advantage, he closes the gap once again. This time, I’m forced to counterattack with one swing, with either fist or leg.

Taking his body positioning in consideration, I see an opening that was left unguarded.

His legs.

I swipe my right leg through the air with the required amount of energy, and boot his right leg.

The force is adequate to cause him to fall like a droplet of rain. The sound of his leg cracking is heard.

With four people on the ground, I step on my recent victim,

And I say:

“Well, this a pity. I expected more from grown men deployed by the likes of him.”

“Have you forgotten about me?”

The man I encountered on the bench prior to this fight approaches me with a knife in his hand.

“Resorting to kill, now? Makes sense after seeing your fellow comrades fall before you.”

“Don't misunderstand, child. I planned to kill you anyway, since the start.”

“There are numerous security cameras around here. You will be caught, is that fine with you?”

“Going to prison is a routine for us now. We don't care about it.”

“Then, I’ll make sure you won't see another day in that prison. After all, you won't have a functioning arm to kill with.”

I sprint towards his sickening face, which he anticipates and moves towards the side. Attempting to swing the knife at me as he moves, I rotate my head. The knife grazes my cheek, but no major damage is done.

As I halt my sprint, he turns the table and charges towards me.

I sigh, “For you, I’ll incorporate a higher percentage of my capabilities.”

I measure the location of the knife, with precise calculations. The speed and distance of one step of his foot, the angle of his arms, elbows and head. The amount of energy, force, height and body mass.  Also considering the minor interference from the wind.

After evaluating all these factors, the fight is mine from here on out.

“I knew it, you are weak.”

“Huh?”

I grab the knife with my bare hands, timed precisely so I do not get stabbed, and halt his movements. Though my blood will be exposed from grabbing the blade, it means nothing when I achieve victory.

“I-Impossible! You're just a high school student, aren't you?!”

I grab the arm that held the knife.

“Send this message to Koenji, that I am not to be underestimated.”

And so, I mercilessly twist his arm to hear the cracking of his bones.

“AAARRRGGGHHH!”

I know I apologized for my chapters being too long, but I feel like short chapters are worse now that I think about it...

Hopefully next chapter will be longer. But writing two stories at once is pretty hard, especially as I didn't plan to continue this until I saw the unexpected amount of readers...

Anyway, Kiyotaka=God is evident through this chapter. It was quite hard to write, but also kinda enjoyable. And also, Koenji's name is said, I wonder what that means? (It's probably obvious now)

Thanks for Reading! (Added a few gifs to make it more enjoyable)
