Wrong Impression, miss (GxG) (TeacherXstudent)

Professor Garcia's Pov

I sat on my leather chair in front of my desk, typing away at my laptop.

Every now and then I'd look up to the typewriter, sitting lonely on the shelf.

An imagine of Victoria fills my mind when I look at it. I get this vision of her standing in front of it and where she types random words out. This black figure with long hair like mine comes behind her and place a kiss on her head.

That figure being her mother that used to sit exactly here where I'm sitting.

My eyes detach from the typewriter when suddenly there was a knock at my door.

"Come in."

I watch as Elijah strolls inside my office like a little boy that knows he's about to be in trouble.

Intrigued, I close my laptop and lean back on my chair.

He closed the door behind him. His lips part to talk, but I quickly beat him to it.

I gesture to the seat opposite from my desk.

"Sit."

Elijah kept his head low as he dragged himself towards the chair.

We sat in silence as I observed him. He clearly knew I was staring him down because he purposely prevented himself from locking eyes with me.

His left leg bounced up and down rapidly, I could tell he's nervous and getting impatient.

I cleared my throat and lean forward, elbows on my desk.

"I have way more important things to do than to scold a grown man right now. So, let's get straight to the point, shall we?" I said, standing up from my chair.

I move to the windows and stare out of them, giving me an entire sight of the campus and other buildings.

"What did you do to her." My eyes stared straight into his soul, trying to intimidate him.

"Wh- what? Do what to who. What do you mean?"

He's stuttering a lot.

I turn to him, and he quickly averted his eyes down to his feet.

I walk back to my desk. "Don't play dumb with me."

"I- I swear!" He said quickly, "I don't know what you're talking about."

Nothing that he's doing gives clues away. His leg is bouncing, he's not looking at me, and he's stuttering a lot. I'd take that to be suspicious, but every student that I talk to reacts that way too.

They're always too scared to look me in the eyes.

"The Valentine's dance, you were there with Victoria?"

"I mean, yeah." He shrugged, his voice shaky, "That... that doesn't make it a crime."

"No, but what you did was a crime."

"What do you mean!? What did I do!" He yell.

In a flash, I slam my hands on the desk and lean forward. He flinched and his body stiffened.

"Mr. Grundling, I can make this very quick and get you expelled. Or do you want to tell me the truth and let this be our little secret?"

"Professor, I--"

"Or, do you want me to call the cops. I know of an old friend who I can get to come and pick you up in that fancy car with red and blue flashing lights, with a siren the entire city can hear, and a backseat secured with bars and child lock on... just for you."

His forehead started glistening from the sweat and even his eyes were shaking along with his body.

"Is this a threat!?" He said loudly, "I-I-"

"Oh, you think this is a threat?" I let out a tiny sarcastic laugh, "You haven't heard anything yet."

I lean closer to him as he just stares at me, absolutely petrified.

"Tell me, or I swear I'll make your life a living hell."

Fortunately for him, there was a knock on the door that made his breath hitch.

I took a deep breath in and nod to the door.

"You can leave. We're done here."

In a flash, he jumps up and sprints to the door.

Before he opens it, I stopped him.

"But just remember; if you go near Victoria ever again, or mention our meeting we just had to one single person, there's a lot more stuff I know about you that your parents don't."

That's the threat.

All he did was gulp before opening the door.

Victoria stood there as the both of them stared each other down. I saw as his lips moved as if he was talking to her. He clearly said 'psychopath' which made me almost call him back in.

I just told him not to mention anything, and he just goes and whisper stuff right away.

He bumped against her shoulders before sprinting down the hallway.

Victoria just stood there before her eyes travelled up to mine.

She has different clothes on, ones she wore before The Showdown on Saturday.

"Hey." She said, kicking the door shut behind her.

My eyebrow raise, intrigued.

She looks good.

"This is yours. Thanks for allowing me to borrow it. I found some spare clothes in my lockers."

I nod and just reach out to grab it. She stared down at my hands, acting like she was going to place the clothes down, before she pulled away.

"Tell me what you said to Elijah." She said all sassy.

I click my tongue against the roof of my mouth. "Really want to play this game?" I ask coldly, enlightened.

Victoria's eyes widen and she shook her head. She snaked behind me and placed my clothes down. "No." She mumbled very quietly, "Sorry."

We were so close to each other. The way her back arched as she leaned forwards to place the clothes down, to the way her tight jeans hugs her ass, getting her curves perfectly.

All I could do is stare.

The first time she slept over at my house, that first night and morning when Luka came, she gave me those warning eyes when she found out Victoria's my student. I've never seen Luka so confused in her entire life before. She warned me over and over again that night, the one hundred million reasons that having my student sleep in my bed is wrong. And I've told her a hundred million times again over and over, that nothing would happen. That nothing will ever happen between us.

But it's so goddam hard.

I guess that's why I was a bitch to Victoria at campus: Luka talked some smack into me.

But I completely ignored her, and I still find myself gawking over Victori--

"Can I test it, if it works?"

I snap back into reality and stopped chewing on my bottom lip.

I sweep the thoughts away and act nonchalant, taking a deep breath in.

"What?" I ask.

She was standing at the typewriter, lightly sliding her finger over the buttons.

"The typewriter, does it work still?" She asked softly.

I hummed lowly, debating whether it will or not.

"We can dust it off and try."

I said, now standing directly behind her.

That vision I saw of Victoria and her mother standing at this exact spot and staring at the same object filled my head again.

This time, I'm living in the vision and standing where her mother was supposed to be.

She turned around, and I could tell I caught her off guard as she slightly flinched. She didn't expect me to be standing directly behind her. Her eyes slowly travelled up to mine since I'm taller than her.

She gets flustered easily.

It's cute.

"Thank you." She said quietly, followed by a gulp.

As I nod my head, I spot something on the side of her lips. Something brownish-black she probably spilled during lunch.

I gesture to my own face, "You got a little something here." I tease, smirking lightly.

She furrowed her eyebrows, curious as she wiped the other side of her mouth with the back of her hand.

"Gone?" She asks.

I shook my head and reached out towards her face.

"May I?"

She gulped and give a single, slow nod.

I reach out to the corner of her lips and wipe it off. Her jaw clenched under my touch, and her cheeks flushed red.

Instead of taking my hand back, I let it linger there as our gaze meet again. She didn't move a single muscle, but just kept looking at me softly.

My eyes flicked down to her lips.

After a few more seconds, Victoria finally looked away and took a deep breath in, causing me to take my hand away.

"Uh, actually we can check if it works another time." She looked to the floor as she spoke, "I got to go. I'm running late." She said, her voice just above a whisper.

Not even giving me chance to say something, she walks out of my office, closing the door behind her.
