Wrong Impression, miss (GxG) (TeacherXstudent)
Victoria's Pov
"No, no you don't understand. I felt something."
I've been pacing up and down in a straight line, rambling about my encounter with Daniela to Iris.
She's lying on her stomach on my bed with her phone in her hands, scrolling through Instagram.
She probably got bored.
I can't blame her, I've been talking non stop.
But now, finally as I shut up for a split second, Iris took it as a chance to talk.
She placed her phone down, flipped around, and took my hands; and dragged me with her on the bed.
Iris said sarcastically, "Can I talk now?" She didn't even let me answer before talking anyway.
"Victoria, pookie, every time I try and tease you about miss hot stuff, you yell at me and go berserk." She said, "You literally just felt her wiping a lipstick stain or something off your face."
"Well no shit sherlock, but... but I'm not talking about a physical feeling." I hesitate.
"Bitch, what?" Iris smirked and immediately switched up, "I was right all along; you are a lesbian in disguise. Dang, I'm good. Xavier owes me $20!"
Well she switched up fast.
"No, no I'm not saying that I'm a les--" I pause mid sentence and frown, "Wait, did you bet on me?"
"Don't worry I'll give you half." She waved a hand.
"Iris!"
"Okay, yes, fine. But let's not change the topic right now, we'll talk finance later." I roll my eyes dramatically. "Well, seriously, now, what did you feel?"
I fall back onto my bed and stare up to the ceiling.
"I-I don't know, you know?"
"Uh, no, actually, I don't." She replied sarcastically, "I'm not some wizard that can read your mind."
"I don't know how to explain it. We had like this small moment where we just stared at each other while her hand was literally still against my chin. There was like this... weird? This weird feeling inside of my stomach. A-And I felt super hot; and I never saw anyone look at me the way she did, and it made me feel good, I guess. It was so odd, because I truly couldn't look away from her. It felt like... it felt like we were the only ones in the entire earth surrounded by a void."
"Holy shit, that sounded like something Romeo would've written for Juliet."" Iris screeched, "You have a thing for professor hot stuff!"
I turn my head and stare blankly back at her, feeling my cheeks burn up.
"Do I?" I ask innocently, my voice very quiet, "I don't know. I've been with guys my entire life. I don't think I have a crush on her or like is in love with her... or anything... it's just..."
"You crave her?"
"Ew, no, don't be gross."
Iris took a deep breath in, "You're still confused, Vic. You should wait till you're 100% sure what you want. But also, don't forget it's our professor we're talking about. And there's nothing worse than a bisexual still questioning her sexuality."
"I'm not gay, for fuck sakes... I just want to know why I feel like this. Why do I get so warm only around her?" I said then thought for a few seconds, "I think it's just because I really feel safe with her."
We both just lay there staring up at the ceiling.
In a swift motion, Iris rolled on top of me and straddled my lap. My eyebrows furrow down and I scoff awkwardly, placing my hands down on the bed.
"I'll help you." She shrugged innocently, looking down at me.
I sat up by my elbows. "Help me?" I chuckle, "Are you saying you want to have sex with me, just to help me figure out if I like doing it with a girl? I can only predict the outcome of that, wanna hear it? It begins with: no!"
"Oh relax" Iris grinned cheekily, "I'm not saying. I'm offering."
"Okay." My smile disappears, "You can get off me now."
She groaned, rolling her eyes dramatically. She continued sitting on my lap, folding her arms over her chest.
"Let me at least kiss you and see what you think of it." She said.
That won't work on me, because I kissed a girl before. Technically, it's the other way around. Carol kissed me.
"Iris, go spend the 'Day of Love' with your boyfriend." I said dramatically, using my fingers as air quotation marks.
"No way, I don't want to leave you looking all miserable right now. There's plenty of years to come where we can go out for Valentine's. Plus, we have a job to do here. So, come on, kiss me."
"Wouldn't that be consider cheating?" I scoff.
"We're bestfriends. Everything we do is consider as cheating."
I stare at her, debating.
Iris groaned, "Oh come on, you kissed me on my cheek hundreds of times before. All you gotta' do is kiss me on the lips now. It won't mean anything. Unless you want it to."
"You're so weird."
"Is that a yes?" She grinned.
I bit down on my back teeth before nodding in defeat, hesitantly.
Iris leaned forward and hovered above me, our faces inches apart.
She's my bestfriend, it's not like we haven't kissed each other before.
In fact, the first time we ever kissed was in High school when I tried to kiss her against the cheek for a photo, but she twisted her head trying to get away from me.
Instead I got her right on the lips.
There's also plenty of recent photos where I kiss her against her cheek, so I won't think about this as something to remember.
She connected our lips together.
It didn't feel weird.
Her hands found my neck, but mine were still against the bed besides me.
Since this is only an experiment, and I'm comfortable enough to kiss her, I kissed her back until my hands reach up to her cheeks.
It was only supposed to be a single kiss, but it turned into way more. Our lips danced together. I accidentally moaned against her lips which caused her to laugh.
So, I nudged her side, a bit embarrassed, and she pulled away.
"Got a bit too carried away, eh?" She laughed, caressing my neck with her thumb.
I stare at her blankly, taking my hands away from her. "Get off me."
She giggled scanning my face, "Okay, okay. But first, tell me... am I a good ki--" She stopped speaking and leaned in closer to me, inspecting my neck.
"Hey, are those hickeys?"
My eyes widen.
Felix.
Suddenly, there was a knock on my door, too fast for Iris to get off me. Instead, we both awkwardly look back as it opened.
Adeline made herself known, talking about groceries before her eyes fell on us.
My eyes widen even more.
I thought that Adeline was going out with my dad for Valentine's, but I guess my dad's still at work so late.
The black haired woman stared at us, amused with a small head tilt. She leaned against my doorframe, crossing her feet and arms.
"I came up here to ask if there's anything you want from the shops." She grinned mischievously, her tone ice cold, "Can I add condoms to the list?"
There was awkward silence before everything just processed.
Me and Iris jump away from each other and I felt my cheeks heating up.
"I should go." Iris muttered under her voice, hopping off my bed.
"Yeah, see you tomorrow." I whisper, afraid to look at Adeline.
"Bye." She whispers, grabbing her bag and making her pass Adeline who only gives her a death tare.
A few seconds later, we heard the front door open and close. My eyes were glued to my bed the entire time, still feeling warm in my cheeks.
Finally building up the courage, I look up to her and met her eyes blazing through my skin. We stared at each other for a bit longer before she ran her tongue along her top teeth, pushing herself off the doorframe.
"Hickeys also, huh?" She said sternly, "Nobody ever mentioned that I could walk in on this."
I gulp, "It's really not what it looked like."
"It looked like that girl was all over you, doll."
"No, well, yes. But I have a perfectly good explanation for that... and, and this hickeys?" I point to my neck, "She didn't even give it to me."
Not amused at all, Adeline scoffed and turned around to walk out.
She scoffed, "You should probably stop talking."
For some reason I ended up at the shops with Adeline, specifically at Walmart.
There's not a good reason for going with her after what just happened; but I guess I'm just bored, need to spend my money on useless stuff like make-up, and I want to get to know her better for my dad's sake.
I don't want her to be my step-mom one day when we can't even have a normal long conversation that last more than a minute.
But, the last few days of spending some time with her wasn't the best first impression.
Excluding earlier.
She was very judgy the first time-- always looking me up and down. I'd catch her and my dad making out on the couches when they thought I wasn't home. At times where they knew I was there, Adeline would spot me at the corner of her eyes, tongue deep into my dad's throat. She wouldn't even stop, but kept going at my dad with a cruel smirk on her face, while looking me dead in the eyes. She doesn't even live with us, but when she stays over, she always wakes up early that wakes me up. And sometimes she's straight up cold. There's no flavor to this lady, she's just so bland, never laughs or smiles, only gives wicked grins.
Rather than that, we haven't been much in each other's hair which is good.
I walk to the cold-fridge-drinks aisle because Adeline asked me to get her a Red Bull energy drink, which I'll gladly do, because I'm afraid if I don't play by her rules, she'll go tell my dad about Iris and I.
I begged her not to tell my dad, and she won't, because she simply doesn't care. She doesn't even want to hear what I have to say about this.
But, I'm still going to play it safe.
I leaned over to grab the drink before I saw a hand sticking out and grabbing it first.
I look over my shoulder and see Professor Garcia.
"I touched it first." She teased with a tiny smirk
A chuckle escaped my lips and I lean back as she grabbed it.
I turn to her. "Hi," I said softly.
She slightly nodded her head, her smirk turning into the tiniest of smiles.
She looked down to the drink in her hand. "You know, this isn't good for you. I've caught you with cigarettes before and now this?" She said, amused, "It's like you want to be punished."
Suddenly there were footsteps behind me.
"Don't worry, I'll make sure to punish her."
Adeline's voice behind me send shivers down my spine and my blood turned cold.
It seemed to have an affect on Daniela too. Her eyebrows furrowed together as she looked in between Adelina and me as she smirked back at Daniela.
Adeline said coldly, "Long time no see, Daniela."
Professor took a few seconds to reply before lightly shaking her head. "Yeah."
My eyes widen, intrigued. "Oh, you know each other?"
Adeline grinned, "You can say so, doll."
Daniela raised her eyebrows, "Doll?"
Adeline continued smirking before she leaned behind me and grabbed the drink out of Daniela's hands.
She didn't even try to grab it back, she's too stunned.
"Oh, uh, my dad's girlfriend." I introduce Adeline as she begins to walk away, and I just sigh. "The one I told you about. Well, more like mentioned?"
Her eyebrows raise, and she looks up to Adeline before she turned a corner. Daniela took a deep breath in and looked back at me.
"Girlfriend, yeah." She nods slowly, "Well, it was nice seeing you, I need to get going."
Wait, but professor saw Adeline a long time ago when she dropped me off at my house.
Why didn't neither of them say anything?
Something's going on.
