Epilogue
Her Adopted Baby's Daddy
Two Years Later.
Jules was on her side, one curled under her head as she watched Ceaser's face as he slept with one of his arms around her, keeping her close to him, their naked bodies pressed together underneath the comforter. The morning light seeped through the glass doors around the room and directly on his face. She didn't want to awaken him but she couldn't stop herself as she reached out and traced every inch of his face like she loved doing when she woke up before him. It had become a habit and she wasn't going to break it. Her man was too fine and they both knew it. Her hands knew it as well and they couldn't keep away.
The chirping of the birds outside the room and the cold breeze that blew into the room sent a shiver down her spine giving her goosebumps. She ignored the cold and kept tracing and with the pattern she had developed over the years, his lips were last to get her attention because she had to save the best for last. And just as she traced his lips, his lips curled into a smile and she knew then that he was awake. She stopped and just as she pulled away, his hand grabbed hers and put it back where it was and his eyes snapped open catching hers.
"You know better than to pull away." He said in his sexy sleepy but husky voice that always made her heart hiccup.
They stared at each other for a moment, the air between them crackling like they were new lovers. The heat between them only got better over the years and it continued to do so which she loved.
Ceaser pushed her on her back taking her hand and pinning it above her head. One of his leg getting comfortable between hers as a smirk formed on his lips. He leaned down, his lips brushing hers softly.
"Happy Anniversary." He said softly making her smile.
"Happy Anniversary to you too."
"Is there anything you want to give me?" He asked as she felt his leg graze between her thighs making her pulse race.
She shook her head slowly.
"No. Not really."
Ceaser frowned.
"You have nothing to give your husband this beautiful special morning?" He asked again
Jules smacked a kiss on his lip.
"No." She said as she pushed away from him as fast as she could catching him off guard.
"Where do you think you're going?" Ceaser had managed to recapture one of her hands and yanked her back into bed sprawled on him.
Jules pushed her hair away from her face, smiling.
"I'm hungry." She said, "You wore me out last night."
"Last night. Middle of the night. Early this morning." He smirked "And right now."
"You're planning on killing me before we leave here, aren't you?"
His arms went around her with hers between them gripping his shoulders.
"With pleasure, I am."
Jules sighed with a smile.
"You are insatiable."
"You tend to bring out the best in me." He said
"Can we shower and have breakfast first before you show me your best?"
Ceaser took a moment before he sighed
"You have a deal."
Ceaser finally let her go and she went into the en suite bathroom to wash off while Ceaser got off the bed in his nude and made a call to finalize the preparations for the evening.
It had been a year since they got married and two days ago, he stole her away from work having arranged everything and for Ivy to stay with her grandparents. Jules had been mad at him at first but when they arrived at the Oceanfront Estate in Kapalua, Hawaii, most of the anger had dissolved. Once in a lifetime was one of a kind Estate with an Indoor space of 12,000 square feet and the outdoor over 20,000 square feet of developed grounds. It was breath-taking both on the inside and the outside with eight bedrooms and bathrooms enough to fit their family, her friends and his. After he had given her a tour of her recently acquired estate she didn't know about, Jules had stepped out and stared at the Ocean for a few minutes before she turned around to face him with a smile on her face.
"I love it." She had said before she kissed him.
"Good... because it's yours." He said with his arms around her pulling her up against him and her arms around his neck supporting herself.
She had stared at him in shock.
"What?"
"It belongs to you." He smiled "I couldn't help myself. Immediately I saw it, I knew you'd love it."
Jules smiled at him, her heart fluttering.
"I love you so damn much." She said, "And I hate to think of how much you spent on it so I'm not going to ask."
"I wasn't planning on telling."
She had kissed him again when he had lifted her up and taken her to their room and into the en suite bathroom where they freshened up from the journey, had dinner and tumbled together in the soft, plush bed. They had done some sightseeing around the Estate the next day and he had watched her face every second taking in her expression. He loved making her happy, it came easily to him like breathing and he got the best reward from it, her smile and the glint of pure happiness in her eyes.
Ceaser stared into space, a smile on his face and his phone still in his hand. He always seemed to catch himself smiling every time he thought about her or Ivy which was all of his time. He threw his phone on the bed and walked into the bathroom to join her.
"What are you doing here?" Jules snapped when she stepped under the showerhead behind her.
"You didn't say anything about showering alone." He said, "Thought we could save some water."
"We're right next to the ocean, I doubt that would be a problem." She moved away from him knowing exactly what he had in mind. "Besides, showering with you doesn't save water."
Ceaser smirked at her as he took a step closer to her glad that she knew that much.
"Ceaser no." She took another step away from him, her back hitting the glass wall where the mist had formed. "I'm hungry."
"Then let's make this quick." He said before he grabbed her and hauled her to him, his lips finding hers.
Jules loved Ceaser's pancakes and she hated him when he rushed her out of the Estate and around Kapalua. They had stayed out late and when they had gotten back to the Estate, it was dark out. He had taken her straight to their room and handed her a dress which Andy and Sofi had gotten for him to give to her. He had told her to get ready and while she got ready, he did the same and waited for her outside between the living/dining area and the massive heated pool.
Jules walked from the bedroom in the white long sleeve lace gown that hugged every inch of her body and hands which flared from her knees down. She had decided to go with a flat white strappy sandal. When she found Ceaser in a tux waiting for her near the pool, she smiled at how gorgeous he looked. Even though they had been together for three years, she wasn't sure if she liked better in or out of a suit.
Ceaser didn't need to hear footsteps to know that she was near. Her steps were inaudible as she made his way to him and he inhaled at the sight of her. He held out his hand to her and she placed hers into his and he pulled her snug against him.
"I would prefer if we skip the dinner I planned for a much tastier dessert."
Jules took a swat at his arm.
"You!"
He smiled before he leaned into her, his cheek brushing hers
"You are so beautiful. I'm not sure if I prefer you naked or clothed."
Jules almost laughed because that had just been her thought.
"You look good enough to eat." She sunk her teeth into his neck and pulled making him groan.
"Keep that up and you'll find yourself flat on the ground with me buried deep inside you."
Jules pulled back to look at him
"Is that a promise?"
"Witch." She giggled "Come, let's get you fed."
Ceaser helped her down the stairs and held her in his arms as they walked around the pool and then down another set of stairs coming to a table for two in the middle of the field which was closest and had the best view of the ocean in front of them. Jules smiled at the decorated table and the roses spread across the field around the table.
She looked at Ceaser who was watching her with a smile on his face.
"It's beautiful."
She sighed when she heard the waves crashing in front of them, she was tempted to run down the steppers and to the beach but she looked back at the table and knew she couldn't, not right then anyway.
Ceaser pulled out a chair for her and she sat down. He took a seat across from her.
"When did you plan all this?" She asked.
"Since we arrived." He said and she shook her head looking back at the ocean as he watched her.
"I wish we could stay here forever." She said
Ceaser was silent for a moment as he thought
"Maybe we can."
Jules snapped her gaze to him.
"I was just saying, I didn't mean it."
He smiled.
"A part of you did."
She sighed.
He knew her so well.
"Well, don't think too much about it because it's not going to happen." She said.
He smiled and as if on cue, the hired chef for the evening came with two other staff with trays of food.
"I'm starved." She said as she watched them set each delicacy on the table. "Thank you." She smiled at the chef.
"You're welcome, Mrs. Thompson." She said before she left with the other two.
They talked about random things as they ate. Jules wanted to come back there with everyone. Ivy, Sofi and Andy, his parents, Alex and Xavier. Speaking of his friends though.
"When's Xavier going to be back?" She asked, "He's been gone for months."
Ceaser wiped the sides of his mouth.
"He hasn't said anything about coming back." He sighed "How's Sofi taking it?"
"She's giving up slowly." She said, "Andy has been trying to keep her relationship with Alex on low-key for her."
"Explains why Alex had been in a mood." He said making her sigh and he reached for her hand across the table "Don't worry about it, everything's going to work out in its own way."
Jules smiled at him before she frowned and shook her head.
"I'm sorry." She said, "I shouldn't have brought that up, today's supposed to be about us."
"You're just worried about them." He said, "And if it's even possible, I love you even more for it."
Jules smiled as his thumb caressed the back of her hand.
The breeze around them, the sound of the waves, the smell of the ocean, the moonlit sky filled with stars changed the air around them. Soon the breeze picked up and Jules looked up at the sky and smiled at what was to come. Lightening showed in the sky and the breeze around her made her skin prickle with anticipation. Soon, droplets fell from the sky and she closed her eyes.
Ceaser had been caught up with the look on her face to realize the change in the weather. He snapped up and was beside her in a Nano-second.
"Let's get you inside."
Jules ignored him, her hand still in his.
"Not yet." She said almost inaudible.
It went from a drizzle to deafening rainfall and soon they were both completely drenched.
"Now Jules." Ceaser said a little louder for her to hear him.
Jules inhaled the smell of rain, it was the best thing ever.
"In a moment."
"I don't want you getting sick." He said and when she didn't make a move, he yanked her out of her chair and splat against him.
"Wait." She held his shoulders when he was about to turn.
Ceaser looked at her and took a moment before he sighed. She even looked more beautiful under the rainfall.
She smiled up at him as his gaze dropped to her wet lips.
"The heaven's celebrating the day we became one."
Ceaser would have smiled at her perspective of the situation but he was too busy thinking of another way he could be one with her. Jules's smile disappeared when she saw the look in his eyes, the hunger, the desire for her she had gotten to know over the years. It still made her shiver and with the added water seeping into her dress, she trembled in his arms and Ceaser tightened his grip around her before he leaned in and took her mouth in his.
It was slow and torturously sweet and made her yearn for him instantly. She was just as insatiable for him as he was for her.
"Ceaser..." She pulled away gasping
"Are you ready to come inside now?"
Jules nodded her head, unable to speak due to her breathlessness. Ceaser bent and picked her up bridal style, walking back inside and into their room all wet and ready.
