               Vanya's POVNext morning, I woke up and took a bath, had breakfast and was getting ready for going to college. My phone beeped with a message. It's a Good morning🌞 message from Mayur. I replied instantly Good morning. Then he directly asked me if I am happy with this marriage. Is somebody forcing me to marry?. I didn't know what to reply to that message. Vanya :" If you don't mind, will you meet me today evening, if you are free?" Mayur : "No problem, after your college gets over, I will come there."Vanya : "No, I mean I wanted to talk  personally with you. I will first drop Vanitha  home and let's meet on the nearby juice centre." Mayur:  "Message me, after you drop her. I will be there". At evening.. I dropped Vanitha home and called him that I will reach  in 10 minutes. He told he will be there at 15 minutes. I reached  and took a table near the window and waited for him. He reached after 5 minutes. Mayur :" Sorry, for making you wait. What will you drink?"Vanya :" It's ok, I have ordered mango juice for myself". Mayur : "Ok, I will order. (He orders mango juice for himself). Are you really happy for this marriage?" Vanya : "I said yes, I have no problem in marrying you. My acha trusts you very much. I also trust you, you will never break my trust, I know. I am just afraid."(Waiter brings juice to our table) Mayur : "Thank you for trusting me. As a friend, tell me what are you afraid of? Don't tell me you are afraid of my face." 😁Vanya : "You are a brainless idiot😁. Why should I be afraid of you or anybody. It just that I don't believe in marriages." Mayur : "Why, if you have no problem, you can share with me anything."Vanya : "Most marriages, I have seen had  ended in divorce. I don't want it to happen to me. I am a very sensitive person, once I love someone, then I cannot bear seperation. I am afraid, what if I fall in love with you, then with some misunderstanding or a big fight may lead to our divorce. I can't bear that. That's why I don't have many people in my life."Mayur : "That's the problem, you should think positive Vanya. What if our marriage completes our 100th anniversary together? I will not make big promises. As love based on promises, is not love. So I am not making any promises. If we marry or not, I will be there for you, when you need me. If you are facing any problem, then I will not be standing in your front or behind. I will stand with you by your side. Don't think much. Give us a chance. If we marry or not  I had loved you then, I love you now and will love you forever."(Vanya doesn't say anything, she gulps down the juice.) Vanya :" Ok, I agree with you. I think I should give life a chance. Ohhh! I forgot, Congratulations🎉🥳 for winning the 'Best Businessman Award' this year. When you will be getting this award? "Mayur :" Thank you Vanya.This Saturday, Dad has decided to keep party on Sunday and he had talked to uncle for keeping the engagement on the same day. Do you have any problem. If you are not comfortable, I can postpone the date."Vanya : "No, I am comfortable and I am okay with it. It's late, I think we should go home". Mayur : "How did you came? There is only one car that's mine." Vanya :" I came by walking it takes only 20 minutes to reach here so thought of walking". Mayur :" Come, let me drop you."Vanya :" No problem, I will go by walking."Mayur gets a call and he attends it. I move ahead and start walking towards my home. Suddenly, Mayur stops his car near me. Mayur : "Dad has called me and he told me to come directly to your house as they are already there. Now, you can come with me". Vanya : "Ok"She sits in the car). They reach home and all were sitting in the hall. Harish : "How was your  first date? Both of you didn't inform us na?" 😒Mayur : "Dad, 😁 it was good." I gaze at him and he smiles like an idiot. Harish :" Before your arrival, we have decided engagement date. We have decided it on coming Sunday. Are you both okay with the date?"Manya they say together at the same time : No problem. They all talk for few minutes and priest arrives . Acha may have called to fix our wedding date. Priest : "Give me their horoscopes". Amma and Swetha aunty handed her horoscopes. After few minutes.. Priest : "They are perfect match for each other. There are 3 auspiciousdates for wedding. One is December 24, and second one is on 11 January and third one is after 6 months." Harish : "You both decide as it's your wedding." Vanya :  "Uncle, January month is lucky for me as its my birthday month". Mayur :  "Even I am okay with January month wedding. As we both will get to know each other better in this time. "Dinesh :" Ok, then let's fix January 11 for your wedding. Congratulations🥳 molle and Mayur. We all are happy for you both."One by one everyone congratulated us. Today is Tuesday and coming Sunday is my engagement with Mayur. Swetha : "We all will go shopping together. And you both do your shopping together." Mayur : "Why Mom, why can't we both join all of you?" Geetha :" Because, in the pretext of shopping, you both can spend time together.😉 Swetha akka, come let's discuss what all things are needed. And you both husbands make rest of the arrangements". Everyone left to do their respective work. Now we 4 children are sitting in the sofa thinking what to do. Varshitha and Vanu suggest to play games. So we all 4 decide to play carrom. Varshitha :" I am with my sister in law. Can I call you akka or sis or mam. "Vanya : "At home, you can  call me akka or sis as per your choice. I will give you a nick name, Varshii. Come let's win the game". Vanitha : "No, we will win na bava"(bava means sister's husband) Mayur : "Yes, let's play, we are winners Vanu". We all 4 play carrom game. We play 3 rounds. 1st one is won by them. 2nd and 3rd we won. After finishing game, we all have dinner together. All are happy with this wedding and all are busy planning for wedding. I smile looking at them happy. Mayur looks at me and smiles and assures me with his eyes that everything will be fine. I smile and nod. I hope, both families remain like this together forever.
