Nathan' pov

I woke up next to Jake with his arms around me and my head on his chest. I jumped and quickly reeled back from a headache and a certain weird throbbing.

"What happened?"

Jake had sat up and held his head

"I'm not... sure.."

I looked down at the sheets seeing quite a big wet spot and some ripped fabric. Jake saw it too and looked up at me.

"Did you pee in my bed?"

"No! Something else clearly happened."

I rolled my eyes and got off the bed. I noticed that the humming was gone.

"Connor"

I was perplexed hearing Shilah after such a long time. Not only that but

"Who's Connor?"

Jake looked a little surprised

"That's my wolf's name."

Of course he would name him Connor. But how would Shilah know...

I quickly went to the opposite side of Jake's bed and pulled around the collar of his now tattered shirt.

"What are you-"

"Look!"

I held it to the side showing scars in the shapes of bite marks

"I knew this would happen... I never even wanted this to happen.."

"Nate calm down-"

"Why would I? We did the one thing that I *didn't* want to do!"

He grabbed my wrist and held them

"*We* didn't do anything."

"It doesn't matter who was in control because it still happened with our bodies!"

"Wolves go based off instinct Nathan, you can't blame them for something they were made for."

I paused and balled my fist.

Whatever.

I made my way out of his room and down the hallway. When I reach the bottom stair I felt nauseous and I ran to the downstairs bathroom. I leaned over the toilet but the feeling soon went away and it made me confused.

Wait... That fast?!

"Nate, where are you!"

I walked into the living room and plopped down on the couch. He came running in after me.

Guess that's it then. My life isn't my own.

"Nathan I-"

"I might just have a kid, Jake."

He paused and furrowed his eyebrows

"Huh?"

"I. Could be pregnant."

"You're fertile?"

I nodded my head and he exhaled in disbelief

"Wow I uh... So what do we-"

"Nothing. We don't nothing. Just go to school."

"School?"

I stood up and looked around for my shoes that magically went missing when I woke up yesterday.

"You want to go to school after everything that just happened?"

I found them at the front door and put them on

"Why not? It's not like I have a choice anyway."

I opened the door and stepped out

"Wait Nathan!"

I slammed the door shut and ran towards the school.

I skidded in the grass and stopped near the school doors. Jake was pretty close behind me.

"Nathan."

I ignored him and pushed open the doors. Everyone was bustling through the halls like usual.

"See everything is fine. Now go kick a football or something."

I walked to my locker, hoping to just stay there until classes started. Just as I opened my locker, it slammed back and I got startled. As a reflex my hand flew towards the face that had just appeared out of nowhere but he had caught it.

"Woah there, don't hit me"

He laughed and I lowered my hand. I recognized him as one of the other popular guys at school that everyone wants, named Alexander. I lost interest once I knew who he was and turned to walk away but he grabbed my shoulder and pushed me back into the lockers.

He pushed me pretty hard and it hurt like bitch. My eyes glow as anger takes over me.

"Oh you're feisty, I like that."

"Back away, now."

"Relax, I know you want me so-"

"No actually, I don't so if you would be so kind to move out my way."

I tried to push him back but he trapped me when his arm was next to my head. Since when do guys find interest in me? And when is this ever the ideal way to get with someone?

"Everyone wants me, so why fight it?"

"Because I don't, now move.

He leaned down and tried to kiss me but I moved my head.

"What the hell is your problem?"

I shoved him off and he stumbled back but unfortunately that wasn't it. He came back at me and I kneed him in his stomach causing him to let go of me and I pushed him back.

"Playing hard to get only makes me want you more"

I gagged and tried to run but a good majority of us have superhuman speed. Which makes this just swell for me.

His eyes glow a bright green and he grabbed my shirt and pushed me to the lockers again. He tried to kiss me again but this time I put my hand over his face to push him back. What is this guy doing?

"Let me go!"

"But you're so tempting~"

"What. Are you doing."

Alexander turned around seeing Jake with his eyes glowing royal blue.

"He's mine Jake. Back off for once."

He kissed me and I didn't expect him to do it a third time so it landed

Suddenly he detached and I see him on the ground holding his jaw. Jake was to my left and his fist was balled up and his eyes were glowing.

Alex stood up and charged at Jake only to get dodged and knocked flat on the ground again.

He stood up and stumbled towards me. Jake was about to punch him again but I stopped him. Alex rested against the lockers and caught his breath.

He finally stood up and looked straight at me. His face was full of anger.

"I won't stop until I have you"

He ran and left a gust of wind behind him

Jake's eyes went back to his dull green color and he ran to me

"Did he hurt you, Nate?"

"No, I'm fine."

"Why was he all over you?"

"Yeah because I definitely know."

I tried opening my locker again but I had a head-splitting headache. It felt like my whole head was pulsing.

I tried to fight the fuzziness like I usually would with a headache but this time was different. Almost like I wasn't fighting hard enough.

Then my vision started to get darker...
