Chapter 11: Work, Work, Work

Tyler (Megan's boyfriend) ^^ P.s He is bae

"Good Morning" Isabella said while entering Seth's office with a cup of coffee and a file in her hands. Seth smiled as he saw her

"Morning" Seth muttered while typing on his laptop. Isabella handed the cup of coffee and files regarding the deal with Mr. Gonzalez to him.

The day passed away with Isabella working and surprisingly she got no snapping from Seth. The lunch time arrived and Isabella sat on her usual spot along with Ellie after reaching on the lunch floor.

"So, how's life?" Ellie asked, sipping on her juice

"Boring" Isabella replied

"You know you should try the dating stuff. I don't want my best friend to die with 60 cats" Ellie said and Isabella laughed. Ellie knew that Isabella had dated a cute truck boy in her past but he turned out to be a total pervert. Hitting on other girls when his girlfriend was with him was his favorite thing to do. Since then Isabella never even tried. She wanted a man who would be committed to her.

"Don't worry I won't die as a cat woman and about dating, I don't wanna think about it now."

"Why?" Ellie pouted

"I don't know. Why don't you try the dating stuff? I haven't seen you with a man since we became friends" Isabella said

"Nope, I'm staying away from men, they are heartless, jerks and perverts. They don't stay committed to a girl (A/N no offense intended). Sure I would date a man at one point in my life, grow old with him and see our kids play but this time has not yet came." Ellie said causing Isabella's eyes to be widened. Those words were great.

"Great words, Ellie" Isabella said

"Yes, Ellie bear" a voice behind Isabella said and it was Carson.

"I didn't ask you, Carson and don't call me that" Ellie said, blushing slightly

"Don't call you what?" Carson asked sitting on the chair beside Isabella, across from Ellie

"Ellie bear" Ellie said

"Okay, Ellie bear" Carson said, smirking

"Ugh" Ellie huffed

"I'm just going to get some juice" Isabella said and went away, smiling slightly when she bumped into someone. She looked up to find John Martin, the manager of the management department.

"Mr. Martin" Isabella greeted

"Isabella, well sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going" He said

"It's okay, Mr. Martin" Isabella said, politely and looked towards the right and saw Seth leaning on the wall away from them.

"Call me John, Mr. Martin is my father"

"Okay, John" Isabella said and chuckled slightly

"See you around" Isabella said and John replied with a 'sure'. She got her juice from the pantry and went to sit on the table where Carson was still sitting staring at Ellie.

"Can you stop staring?" Ellie whispered-yelled

"Nope" Carson said while leaning on the table

Isabella decided to let them be and went on the top floor and sat down on her desk. Her inter com beeped and she went in her boss' office after knocking.

"What is this?" Seth snapped at her while throwing a file on his table.

"What, Sir?" Isabella asked, picking up the file. To say she was scared would be an understatement, she was shaking.

"All the emails of the dealers are wrong. Where is your mind when you are working huh? To a certain person whose last name is Martin?" He snapped and Isabella's eyes shot up. She was fuming. Sure she did a mistake but there was no need of dragging her personal life in this.

"Excuse me?" Isabella said

"Leave it, I want it all to be corrected till 12:00 tonight. Understood?" Seth said

"Yes" Isabella said and left his office along with the file. Surely the file would take two whole days to be corrected but she decided to complete this today and throw it in the face of Seth. And with that, she started her work.

Isabella stretched her arms and looked in her watch and saw it was 10:00 pm. She still had two hours to complete that flipping file.

"Flipping bipolar man!" Isabella muttered while ignoring the protests of her hands and started writing once again. Her stomach growled but she ignored it and kept working.

Finally at 12:00 she completed the file and took rest for five minutes. After that she decided to call Seth.

"Mr. Anderson?" Isabella said

"Yes?" Seth asked

"The file is corrected. Do you want me to put it in your drawer?" Isabella asked

"No"

"Then what do you want me to do?" Isabella asked

"Throw it in the dustbin" Seth said and Isabella's eyes wide in anger

"But that file is important, how can I throw it in the bin?"

"I have a copy of it in my drawer and I don't need another copy of it" Seth said

"Mr. Anderson, do you have any idea that I worked on it continuously without taking any rest. I ruined my whole Friday night for this file and you are saying that you don't want it?" Isabella lashed out on him

"Miss Smith, I believe that you are in my company to work. I am your boss and you are my secretary so it is my wish what I would like you to do. No more arguments on this topic, go to your home" Seth said arrogantly and cut the call

"Stupid, stupid, stupid man" Isabella yelled. She tore the papers in the file into pieces, lashing out her anger on them and threw them in the bin. She wrapped her blazer around herself, took her bag and left the building. That was the point when she remembered that she didn't have a ride home. After waiting for 15 minutes for a cab, she decided to walk home. She was walking tiredly when she heard the clouds rumbling and the rain started.

"This is the worst day of my life" Isabella muttered while letting her tears to mix with the rain water while she walked towards her home. I really need a car, she thought. She changed into some comfortable clothes after reaching home and hopped into the sheets of her bed. She sneezed while coughing continuously and as a cue, her body started becoming hot. Tomorrow is Saturday, hopefully I would be able to take some rest. She thought

"Stupid, stupid man for making me sick" those were the last words which left from Isabella's lips before she fell asleep.

The Saturday went in a blur with Isabella sitting on her bed whole day without doing any work. She didn't made any dinner and they ate the left over food. The Sunday morning was not so good for Isabella, she kept sneezing and coughing. Blowing up her nose in a tissue every five minutes.

"Megan!" Isabella said in a raspy voice

"Yes, Izzy?" Megan asked while serving her sister pancakes.

"Bring me medicines from the kitchen cupboard"

"Wait" Megan said and brought the medicines to Isabella and she swallowed the medicines along with water.

"Izzy, did you remember that Tyler is coming over today?"

"Oh yes, I remembered" Isabella said

"But it's okay, I can call him any other day" Megan said

"No Meg, Call him today, I'll manage"

"Are you sure?" Megan asked, filling two cups of coffee and placed them on the dining table

"Yes" Isabella said as she sipped on her coffee which magically started doing wonders to her body a d her body seem to cool down a bit.

Isabella dressed up in a pair of black jeans and a navy blue top while Megan got dressed in a pair of black jeans and a white crop top. Isabella felt better later in the evening so she made Chinese instead of ordering something. They heard the doorbell rang and Megan opened the door. There stood a boy in a pair of black jeans, a white T-shirt and a gray hoodie over it. Megan kissed the boy's cheek and led him inside the house.

"Izzy, he is Tyler, my boyfriend and Tyler she is Isabella, my older sister" Megan said and they both greeted each other. Tyler seemed to be a nice boy. Isabella thought and led them to the dining table and they started the dinner.

"So Tyler, tell me about yourself" Isabella said, acting like a mother towards her baby sister and she had to.

"Well, Miss Isabella, I am in the same year as Megan which is junior year, my mom's a housewife and my dad works in a travel agency and I have a baby sister, that's all" Tyler finished and Isabella nodded.

"You can just call me Isabella or Bella, whatever suits you" Isabella said smiling

"Sure, Bella" Tyler said

They finished dinner and it was time for Tyler to go home, apparently his mother called him to look after his baby sister because she was going somewhere.

"It was good having you, Tyler" Isabella said while walking him towards the door along with Megan

"I enjoyed your company too, Bella" Tyler said smiling

"If I remembered, I was your girlfriend last time, you didn't enjoy my company?" Megan said, slightly whining

"I'll always be enjoying your company, baby" Tyler said while giving Megan a small peck on her lips.

"Bye" Megan whispered

"Bye" Tyler said and bidding a bye to Isabella too, he left.

As Isabella was about to close the main door, she saw Ellie running towards her house.

"Hey" Ellie said, breathlessly

"Hi" Isabella said while letting her come inside the house

"What are you doing here at this time?" Isabella asked her, clearly not in a way which would offend Ellie

"I was worried sick about you, where the hell you were yesterday, I waited for you but you didn't came" Ellie said

"I was working till late night" Isabella said, trying not the remember the scene

"Okay, well who was the boy that just left your house?" Ellie asked

"He is Megan's boyfriend" Isabella said

"Hey little one, I heard you got a boyfriend!" Ellie yelled to Megan who was in the kitchen

"Shut up!" Megan yelled back and Ellie chuckled

"Isabella, even your little sister got a boyfriend, you should really think about dating, ya know" Ellie said casually while making herself comfortable on the couch

"You are right" Isabella said and sat beside her.

So I wanted to share it so badly with u guys, I was just strolling through my Instagram and I found this picture on Nick Bateman AKA Seth's wall and I almost screamed Carson and Seth! Ain't I lucky to find this picture of both of them together once I casted them in my book? :D
