Chapter 17: Wedding Rush

Seth was busy doing his work when the door of his office burst open and his father walked in. Seth wasn't expecting his father to be there because he rarely visited the company as he was retired.

"Dad" Seth greeted and Santiago sat down on the chair which was in front of his son.

"Seth, how are you?" Santiago asked

"I'm good, why are you asking?" Seth asked

"Can't I just check on my son?" Santiago said as he flipped the pages of the magazine which was on the table.

"Of course you can" Seth said. He loved his father dearly, he was the most awesome person in this world according to him. He was his hero since he was a little boy.

"Your mom is nagging me about getting you married" Santiago said and Seth choked on his coffee.

"Woah Dad! You both know I don't want to get married now" He said

"But eventually you'll have to" Santiago said

"Yeah but not now" He said

"Look Seth, what happened in the past doesn't have to do anything with you getting married but still you have to get over it. You can't just shut out everyone from your life just because of something that wasn't your fault you have to move on in your life. You'll be soon twenty seven think about it son" Santiago said as he left the office. The talk brought back many memories and painful ones which Seth was trying to get over with but he couldn't.

He ran a hand through his hair in attempt to calm himself down but it was no avail. Her screams were echoing in his ears and he couldn't fight back the tears which were rushing out of his eyes. His phone rang and he wiped them off and picked up the phone.

"Hello" He said

"Sir, I wouldn't be able to make it to the office today, Jessica isn't letting me come" Isabella's smooth voice ran through his phone.

"And why is that?" He asked in a calm tone

"Sir, It's her wedding tomorrow and she thinks there are more preparations to do than it is done already" She said and he chuckled. Right, it was Jessica and Kevin's wedding tomorrow.

"It's okay, you can take the day off" He said causing Isabella to grin on the other side

"Thank you so much, Sir" Isabella said and hung up the phone.

Seth didn't know how but somehow Isabella's voice soothed him. He shook his head to clear all the thoughts and continued his work.

"Jess, for God's sake, stop rambling" Isabella said

"I'm not rambling" Jessica complained

"Sure" Isabella said. Jessica was going on and on about how nervous she was about the wedding and when Isabella would try to console her, she would glare at her. Seriously, she had more moodswings than a pregnant woman.

Wait.

Pregnant.

"Jess, are you um, pregnant?" Isabella asked

"How do you know?" Jessica asked

"I just guessed, that means you are!" Isabella exclaimed jumping up and down

"Um yeah" Jessica said as her cheeks turned a faint pink color.

"How long?" Isabella asked as she sat down beside Jessica on the couch

"Um, a month" She said

"Does Kevin know about it?" Isabella asked

"Yeah" Jessica said as Isabella grinned and they both continued their work.

The next day arrived quickly and Isabella and Megan rushed to Jessica's house quickly along with their dresses and other accessories. As if on cue, Jessica was waiting for them. They quickly rushed to the salon. Jessica had manicure, pedicure, wax and the list goes on while Isabella just went with cleansing and manicure and pedicure. It was 4:30 when Jessica, Isabella and Megan were done with their hair styles and makeup. They were now fully ready and dressed in their wedding clothes.

Jessica was looking breathtaking with her wedding dress and her hair pulled up in a bun along with light makeup but her lips were painted red. Isabella was also looking gorgeous in her dress with her hair opened and the ends of it were in beautiful curls, she had light makeup on while Megan's here were also opened but they were straightened.

They left for the hall where the wedding was going to be held and reached there in almost half an hour, the whole ride was filled with Jessica's rambling and Isabella was comforting her.

After reaching the wedding hall, they got out of the car and some of Jessica's friends who were the bridesmaids and one who was her maid of honor were waiting outside. They all got inside the hall together and the hall was filled with the cheers of people. Isabella helped Jessica to walk up on the stage where Kevin was already waiting for her.

The wedding ceremony started and Isabella zoned out because she always disliked those all I do's and blah blah, she found them boring. She looked around the hall and found Seth standing a little far away from her, watching her intently. She felt a little uncomfortable with this because she wasn't  used to people staring at her.

"Now I declare you as husband and wife. You may kiss the bride" The priest's voice cut her thoughts and she looked towards the stage where Kevin was kissing Jessica. Isabella clapped and grinned as she gave Jessica a thumbs up after they pulled back. The hall was filled with the cheers and whistles of people. They both walked down from the stage and Isabella walked towards them.

"Congratulations" Isabella said as she hugged Jessica who looked like she was about to breakdown. "Thanks, Bella" Jessica said as she hugged her back.

Isabella than hugged Kevin and gave them both their presents. "Aunt Jess" A voice said from behind them.

"Megan" Jessica said as she hugged her

"Congrats" Megan said as she pulled back from the hug and did a fish bump with Kevin. This was their thing. She gave them their presents too.

Isabella walked towards where Seth, Carson, Thiago and Valerie were standing, more like Thiago and Valerie were bickering, Carson was trying to stop them and Seth was watching here and there with a bored look on his face. "Hi guys" She said

"Isabella" Carson said as he hugged her, Thiago did the same and Isabella chuckled.

"Ah yes! Isabella, you're Seth's PA right?" Valerie said. Isabella came to find out that Valerie was Seth's cousin. Ellie told her.

"Yes, I am" Isabella said as she saw Ellie coming towards them

"Not to be rude but what are you doing here?" Valerie asked.

"Well you see Jessica? She's my aunt" Isabella said and Valerie nodded. Ellie came and said her hi to them but she received a smirk from Carson.

"I'll see yo uh guys later" Isabella said giving one last look to Seth as she left.

Minutes later everyone was dancing including Jessica and Kevin and Carson and Ellie but Thiago was as usual annoying Valerie and she was growling and groaning at him while Isabella was sitting on one of the chairs, sipping on her drink.

"Wanna dance?" A voice asked from behind her and she turned around to look Seth standing there with his hands in the pockets of his pants. He looked handsome in his black suit and white shirt along with a black bow tie.

"Sure" Isabella said as she stood up from the chair and they went to the dance floor where everyone was dancing.

Seth took Isabella's hands in his. To Isabella it was a burning touch. He wrapped his arms around her waist and took her hands, wrapping around his neck. They started swaying to the music which was Thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran.

"Would it be inappropriate to say that you look incredibly beautiful and sexy in this dress?" Seth spoke huskily.

"Uh no it's okay, we're not in the office right now" Isabella said, trying to ignore the shivers which were running up and down her spine.

"Good, because you do look incredibly beautiful today" Seth said as he pulled her close to his body

"T-thanks" Isabella stuttered as she looked to his coat not having the courage to look in his eyes.

"You're welcome" Seth as as he placed a kiss on Isabella's cheek, causing her to turn beetroot red.

"Izzy, come on Aunt Jess us about to cut the cake" Megan said and Isabella quickly pulled away from Seth's embrace

"Uh, I'm coming" Isabella said as Megan went away.

"L-let's go" Isabella said to Seth as she ran away where Jessica was cutting her cake causing Seth to chuckle.

Why was he acting sweet all of a sudden? She thought.
