Chapter 18: It's Time to Leave

The wedding and the fun was soon over and everyone was back to their normal routine. Isabella woke up the next morning and had shower. After showering, she got dressed into plum colored pencil skirt and cream colored blouse. She applied light baby pink lipstick on her lips and a little amount of mascara on her eyelashes. She slipped into her cream colored heels, grabbed her purse and left for work after saying a quick bye to Megan who took a day off from her school because she was 'tired' because of the wedding and all and all she did was eat and dress.

Isabella waited for the bus but it didn't came so she hailed a cab and left for the office. She was feeling giddy and nervous at the same time because Seth was being all sweet these days and she loved it. She went to the coffee shop first and ordered Seth's usual. After grabbing the coffee and paying for it, she went towards the building and walked towards the elevator and saying hi to Ellie on the way.

She reached the top floor, and walked out of the elevator. She noticed that the door of Seth's office was slightly opened, giving her a glimpse of his table and the white floor. She put her hand on the door to knock but it opened causing her to quickly cover her eyes at the sight in front of her. Her boss was about to wear a shirt but she managed to catch a glimpse of his toned stomach and 8 packs.

"I'm sorry" Isabella squeaked because she knew he had clearly seen her.

"Ugh, it's okay. You can turn around now" Seth spoke as he buttoned the last button of his shirt. He had brought a drink this morning which spilled onto his shirt by mistake so he changed into his another shirt which he kept in his office in the case of some emergency.

Isabella turned around but she still couldn't meet his eyes, what happened just a moment ago was embarrassing.

"Morning" She greeted as she placed the cup of coffee on his desk.

"Good Morning, uh I spilled my drink on the shirt this morning so I had to change it" Seth explained and she just nodded.

"It's okay" Isabella said as Seth sat on the edge of his desk.

"I need you to fax the documents. They are in a brown colored folder just look onto the shelf, you'll find them" Seth said as he sipped on his coffee.

Isabella just nodded and started searching for the brown colored folder but couldn't find it. She moved a little and felt something beneath her foot. She looked down and saw that brown folder lying on the floor. She sat down on the floor and picked up the folder and the papers which fell out of it. She stood up and saw Seth looking towards her ass.

"Mr. Anderson" Isabella called out in anger and embarrassment.

"Huh what?" Seth snapped out of his trance of staring her perfect ass.

"You can't just stare at someone's uh- body parts, it's rude" Isabella complained as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Oh really?" Seth asked as he placed his coffee on his table and started walking towards her, deciding to tease her a bit.

"Y-yeah" Isabella stuttered as she started walking backwards but of course the damn wall had to come and stop her.

"So, I'm sorry Miss. Smith for staring at your perfect round ass" Seth spoke huskily as he caged her against the wall. Isabella's eyes widened at his statement and her cheeks turned a faint pink color.

He was so close to her that if he moved a little, their lips would meet. Isabella's breathing became heavy as she looked into his lust full eyes. After a minute of staring at eachother, Isabella tore her gaze away as she pushed him and ran out of his office, leaving him chuckling behind.

'What was that?' Isabella thought as she tried to calm herself down. Keyword tried. She couldn't even focus on anything. He was making her feel things she had never felt before, it was all new to her. She shook her head and tried to focus on her work.

It was soon lunch break and Isabella quickly called the elevator and went to the 7th floor, not wanting to face Seth after that awkward moment. She went towards the table where Ellie was sitting along with Carson and they were laughing and chatting. She didn't want to disturb them so she walked towards John who was sitting alone.

"Hi" Isabella greeted him as she smiled and sat down on the seat in front of him.

"Hi, how are you?" John asked

"I'm good, what about you?" She asked as she took a bite of her burger.

"I'm not good" He said pouting a little

"Why?" Isabella asked as she chuckled a little on his attempt to pout.

"You seem to forget me, you don't even say hi to me anymore" He said, faking sadness in his voice.

"I'm sorry, I've been just busy these days with my Aunt's wedding and all and now it's over so I'll be spending more time with you and Ellie" Isabella said smiling and John grinned.

Seth smiled as he recalled the scene from the morning. Isabella looked adorable when she was angry and her ass seemed to do a magic on his eyes. She was making him feel things he had never felt before, he had never been in a serious relationship before he just had one night stands. He never got this feeling of being so attracted to someone. He continued smiling and working when his office door burst open and Elaina walked in. She was wearing a purple short-very short dress revealing her clavege leaving nothing to the imagination.

"What do you want, Elaina?" Seth asked in a calm tone.

"I just wanted to meet you, Sethy" She said

"Why?" He asked

"Can't I just meet my boyfriend?" Elaina said and Seth snorted.

"Who said I was your boyfriend?" Seth said as he stood up from his chair and walked towards her

"Daddy said you were my boyfriend" She said grinning

"I don't care what your Daddy says, now leave my office before I call the guards. You were just for one night and I told you that before. I don't want to see you here or near me ever" Seth said as he took her by her arm and walked out of the office.

"I know you are ignoring me because of that bitch of your PA" She said

"Don't. Ever. Talk. About. Her. Like. That. Understand?" Seth said as he walked closer to her, glaring at her. Her eyes widened and she backed away from him. As if on cue, the elevator door opened and Isabella walked out. Elaina quickly put her hands on Seth's chest as she smirked towards Isabella. Isabella looked towards Seth with something in her eyes which he couldn't comprehend.

"Bye, Sethy" Elaina said as she walked towards the elevator.

"Isabella, it's not what you think it is" Seth said

"I don't care what it is" Isabella said. She was feeling sad and disappointed but God knows why. She thought he didn't have to do anything with Elaina but it seemed like he was close to her. No matter that girl was a rude and spoilt brat but she felt sad for her because she may be Seth's girlfriend and Isabella being close to him would hurt her. She ignored Seth and sat down on her chair and started faxing the documents which were remaining.

"Look Isabella, you just entered at the wrong time. She was just acting, I don't have anything to do with her" Seth explained, he didn't  know why he was explaining himself to her.

"Look Mr. Anderson, I don't care about whatever you two have between eachother, you don't need to explain yourself to me. Please leave and let me do my work" she said. She wanted to believe him but her brain said no. Seth gave her one last look and went towards in office.

It was soon 7:00 pm, Isabella packed her things and was about to leave when Seth's voice stopped her.

"Isabella" He said and she turned around. He walked towards her and stopped in front of her.

"Yeah?" She asked

"You're leaving?" He asked. Isabella kept her eyes on the floor not wanting to look in his eyes.

"Yes" She said. He walked closer to her and kissed her cheek causing shivers to run down her spine.

"Bye" He said

"Bye" She replied. It felt right, it felt like it was the last time she was meeting him. She walked in the elevator. She hailed a cab and reached her home. She opened the door with the help of the key. She greeted Megan on entering the house and walked into her room and changed into her shorts and tank top. They had dinner and we're watching TV when Isabella's phone rang, it was an unknown number.

"Hello" She said

"Hello Isabella, it's me Lauren" The voice greeted and Isabella's palm started sweating. She was her lawyer.

"Yes, Lauren. How are you?" Isabella asked

"I'm fine" She said but her voice was urgent "Isabella, I need to tell you something" Lauren said

"What is it?" Isabella asked as her breathing became heavy.

"Is Megan beside you?" Lauren asked

"Yeah" Isabella said. Megan noticed Isabella's unusual behaviour and she started rubbing her hand up and down her arm. It was something that helped Isabella to calm down.

"Isabella, promise me you won't panick" Lauren said and Isabella replied with a simple yes. Her heartbeats were racing

"Isabella, He's back" Lauren said and tears fell down from Isabella's eyes. She ended the call and started sobbing and crying. Lauren's single statement cause Isabella's world to come crashing down. She controlled herself as she turned towards Megan who looked worried. She hugged her and sobbed on her shoulder.

"He's back, Megan. He's back" Isabella whispered and Megan started shaking with fear but she tried to control herself because she needed to be strong for her sister. She started saying soothing words in Isabella's ear.

"Megan" Isabella said as she pulled away from the hug

"Yeah?" Megan asked

"It's time to leave"
