Su Ruixin did not know if she wanted to laugh or cry. She stared at Su Qing helplessly. “My child, Yi and you are husband and wife. When he eats, you eat as well, right? Besides, your kitchen lady often prepares so many supplements for you and you can’t finish them all. If not for Yi to have some, wouldn’t it all go to waste?”

Su Qing was rendered speechless. She did not say anything further. She grumbled to herself, ‘Since they know I couldn’t eat so much, they should not have prepared so many supplements for me in the beginning.’

Song Yi was obviously a glutton. Most of the time, he did not reveal his true color for the sake of maintaining his smart and handsome image. Now, he finally had a good reason to eat as much as he could openly. How could he let go of this opportunity?!

“By the way, where are your father and mother? Why don’t I see them? Haven’t they arrived yet?” Su Ruixin could not help but ask after she surveyed around the surroundings but still failed to catch sight of her own elder sister and brother-in-law.

The person who answered her was Song Yi instead of Su Qing. “My father-in-law and mother-in-law went to pick up my uncle and Wanting. They would arrive in a moment.”

“Wanting is coming as well? That kid must have bugged her parents so that they would take her along to visit the baby.” As Mu Xiaoyang recalled the little demon from his family, a hint of helplessness unwittingly showed up on his cold face. However, if one were to notice carefully, the trace of a smile appeared in his eyes as well.

So did Su Ruixin. She shook her head in resignation. She took a box from Mu Xiaoyang’s hand and passed it over to Song Yi. She said, “Here’s a small gift for Dudu.”

Song Yi received the box from Su Ruixin without hesitation. He then passed it over to a servant beside him. He said with a smile, “Aunt, Uncle, I thank you on behalf of Dudu.”

Su Ruixin’s interruption had reminded Zhao Youlin about her own gift which she had brought for the baby, except that the gift was not in her hands now. It was with Joy.

Zhao Youlin bent down and took an exquisitely wrapped small box from Joy’s small suit pocket. She handed it over to Su Qing and said, “This is a token of my appreciation. I hope your baby grows up healthily.”

Su Qing never expected Zhao Youlin had prepared a gift for her son, so she was overjoyed. As soon as Song Yi received Zhao Youlin’s gift, she wanted to unwrap it.

“Could I unwrap it now?”

Zhao Youlin was stunned. She smiled faintly, “Since the gift is for the baby and you are the baby’s mother, you naturally could unwrap the gift.”

After Su Qing got the permission, she could not wait and had Song Yi open the box and reveal the contents.

The gift inside the box was chosen by Duan Yarong. It was a longevity pendant made of pure silver.

The plain silver dazzled under the reflection of the light. It was very beautiful. Even Dudu, who was holding the milk bottle and drinking happily, was attracted to it.

Dudu let go of the milk bottle which he had been holding onto tightly just now. He wanted to reach out for the pendant. At the same time, he was babbling some unintelligible monosyllables in his mouth.

Su Qing smiled. She stared at the box in Song Yi’s hand softly and said gently, “Look, Dudu likes Zhao Youlin’s gift very much.”

The people at the side smiled when they saw this. Zhao Youlin was relieved to see that the baby was so supportive. She smiled faintly and replied to her, “Anything, as long as the child likes it.”

The child failed to grab what he wanted after some time. He pouted his lips. Tears started to well up in his eyes and he looked like he was about to burst into tears.

Su Qing cast a glance at her restless son before he gave another look at Joy, who was standing obediently at the side. Suddenly, she stretched out her hand and took the longevity pendant inside the box. She passed it over to Joy and said with a smile, “I’m having Dudu in my arms, so it’s inconvenient for me to put this on for him. Joy, could you please help me to put this on his neck?”

Joy hesitated for a while. He then turned his head around and cast a questioning glance at Zhao Youlin. After Zhao Youlin nodded at him, he carefully took over the necklace of the longevity pendant and slowly put it around the baby’s neck.

The baby seemed like he was not used to the sudden addition of something around his neck. He struggled. Joy immediately helped to sort out the necklace so that it only hung on the collar of his clothes instead of touching his skin.

Only then did the baby slightly settle down. He giggled at Joy.

When Su Ruixin saw this, she moved her gaze. She seized the opportunity and went up to him. She said with a smile, “Joy, Dudu likes you. He doesn’t smile at me once even after I’ve been teasing him for a long time. Look, how happy he is when you’ve only put on the necklace for him.”

Upon hearing Su Ruixin’s words, Joy could not help but feel slightly embarrassed. His face slightly reddened. His eyes sparkled as he stared at the baby who continued drinking from his milk bottle. Su Ruixin saw everything. A ray of hope ignited in her heart. She asked him tentatively, “Dudu likes you, Joy. Do you like Dudu too?”

Joy pondered over it for a brief moment before he understood that Su Ruixin was referring to the baby as Dudu. He nodded his head without hesitation. He said shyly, “Yes, I like him.”

Upon heating Joy’s answer in a child’s voice, the adults at the side unwittingly smiled.

“Joy, do you want a younger brother who is as cute as Dudu?”

“A younger brother who is as cute as Dudu?” Joy repeated her words in puzzlement. He did not quite understand Su Ruixin’s words.

Meanwhile, Zhao Youlin, who was standing at the side, understood the underlying meaning of Su Ruixin’s words. Her expression changed slightly. Even Su Qing and her husband could not help but were struck dumb upon hearing Su Ruixin’s words. They locked gazes with each other in surprise.

However, Su Ruixin did not pay much attention to the people’s reactions around her. She only wanted to target Joy as the key to solve the problem.

Zhao Youlin was so dotted on Joy. If Joy could agree with this and hoped to have a younger brother or sister as well, Zhao Youlin certainly would not refuse Mu Tingfeng.
