Duan Yarong’s birthday had coincidentally fallen on a Sunday night. Although she was the madam of the Zhao family, there was an elder before her. Therefore, she only had to invite her friends, relatives, and people of higher authority and power in Shalnork to her birthday banquet.

Zhao Shunchang was stunned. When he returned to his senses and understood what Sun Fengzi had said to him, his expression looked troubled. “What… What did you say just now? “You! No matter what, Yarong is still your elder. How can you… How can you be like…” Zhao Shunchang’s face turned red. He wanted to defend himself yet he did not know how to.

Sun Fengzi had long known that her husband only had the looks, but not the brain. He dared not lay a finger on her nor was he eloquent in speech. He could not verbally win against her and therefore, her behavior only grew more outrageous.

“Elder? Is she even worthy to be my elder? Given the credits for all the effort that she put in for the Zhao family and Zhao Enterprise what?! In fact, it’s just you being the useless one. If only you could achieve more success and be given priority by the former master like your older brother, you would have become the president of Zhao Enterprise now. Do you think that by then, Yifei and I have to be looked down on by others? Duan Yarong is capable, Zhao Youlin is capable and so am I! “You seriously are…” Zhao Shunchang was already in a fit of rage. However, when he heard his son’s rude remark, his expression instantly turned dark.

Unfortunately, before he spat fire for real, Sun Fengzi had already blocked in front of him first and shot a glance at him. She lowered her voice and warned him, “Zhao Shunchang, are you planning to turn your back against us today?”

Zhao Shunchang’s entire body shuddered. Sun Fengzi’s years of strictness finally had been put into use. It had not been easy for Zhao Shunchang to summon up his courage that had been induced by his anger. However, at that moment, the balloon of courage was quickly deflated.

After Sun Fengzi finished settling Zhao Shunchang, she swiftly turned around and was on good terms with her son. She smiled apologetically, “Yifei, don’t be mad. It’s my fault. I shouldn’t have fought with your father and caused you to be frustrated. Don’t be angry, don’t get so worked up. If you get yourself hurt, I’ll be heartbroken.”

However, Zhao Yifei did not bother with this at all. He looked up at Sun Fengzi as he sneered, “Look at me in my current state, I’m no different from a handicapped. How much more broken can I be?”

The smile on Sun Fengzi’s face turned stiff. The next moment, she put on a long face and snorted, “You are my son. I dare the person who has the guts to say you are handicapped. Yifei…”

As Sun Fengzi was speaking, she wanted to pull Zhao Yifei’s hand. But, he evaded her. His eyes were filled with disdainfulness as he looked at Sun Fengzi.

A hint of embarrassment unwittingly showed up on Sun Fengzi’s expression. However, soon, she recovered her senses and said in a straight face, “Yifei, don’t worry about it. I won’t spare the two b*tches for what they have done to you. One day, I will make them pay the price. If we are not living a good life, neither should they!”

Zhao Yifei only gave them the side of his face. He did not say anything. However, he clenched his hands that were dangling by the sides of his body upon hearing Sun Fengzi’s words. He leaned his face against the car window. A hideous look appeared under the reflection of the moonlight.
