As soon as Nie Yunfan finished what he thought was an imposing declaration, the atmosphere inside the house turned extremely strange.

Nie Yunfan snapped out of his daze upon hearing her scream. He quickly rushed forward and pushed the person who had committed the crime to the side. He took out a clean handkerchief from his shirt pocket in a flurry of motion and helped An Qi stop the bleeding.

Panicked, Nie Yunfan did not care how much force he used. He pushed the person with all his might, and the person fell on her butt.

She lost her balance in the crash. When she fell down, the cap on her head fell to the ground, revealing her true face.

“It’s you!” When An Yue saw the person’s face clearly, she exclaimed in shock.

The person who fell on the ground was none other than… Xie Yuqing, who had mocked An Yue at Duan Yarong’s birthday banquet in the past.

When they heard her scream, An Qi and Nie Yunfan were stunned. They did not make it for Duan Yarong’s birthday banquet due to an accident, so they naturally did not know the person in front of them.
