Chapter 440 Bentley Fights Herbert
Herbertâs face froze. He clutched his legs nervously and explained.
âHow would I do that? You and I are engaged. Itâs not unnecessary. Besides, this red wine was prepare
d by the restaurant.â
Breenda narrowed her eyes and said, âIt would be best if that was the case.â
She gave the red wine a shake and put it to her lips.
Just as Breenda was about to drink, the door to the private room was opened. A pair of warm and bid h
ands brushed past her fingertips and took away the glass in her hand.
She looked up in confusion.
It was Bentley.
âWhy are you here?â
Bentley didnât say anything. He put the wine glass to his nose and sniffed it. Then he glanced at the
man beside him.
Herbert swallowed his saliva and braced himself to speak, âWho are you? This room has already been
booked by me. You canât break in. Please leave!â
Herbert was about to get up and snatch the glass of red wine from Bentley.
Bentley took a step back. Without saying a word, he poured the wire on Herbertâs face coldly.
Herbert stopped in his tracks. His entire face was stained with wine, and he subconsciously pursed
his lips.
When he realized what he had done, Herbert immediately spat and wiped his lips.
Breenda propped up her chin with one hand and burst out laughing, watching the show
indifferently.
Bentley had always had a cold temper and rarely got angry. But today, he was really angry.
He slammed the wine glass in his hand against the wall, making a crisp sound.
âHow could you put drugs in the wine of your fiancée? What a bastard!â
Herbert was stunned by Bentleyâs aura, and he was in a daze for a few seconds before he reacted.
Because he was shorter than Bentley, Herbert could only
raise his chin and stare at Bentley. He took off his glasses and roared.
âI put drugs in it? Prove it! If you canât, I will sue you for slandering me! Also, this is my territory. I
not only want you to apologize immediately but also let the bodyguards throw
you
Herbert put on his glasses and took out his phone to call the manager.
out!â
âHey, this Herbert Hess! Someone is causing trouble in my private room. Bring the security guards here
immediately, or Iâll hold you accountable!â
Herbert hung up the phone angrily and glared at Bentley.
âKid, donât think
that you are amazing just because you are handsome. Since you know Breenda, I will let this go as lon
g as you apologize to me, and I wonât need you to compensate for the mess.â
Breenda, who was sitting quietly, covered her mouth and held back her laughter. She couldnât hold
it anymore.
She had known Bentley for more than a year and had never seen anyone who could make him
apologize.
She leisurely picked up the fork and knife on the table, picked up some dishes, and ate in a good
mood.
Breenda seemed to be watching a good show that had nothing to do with her.
Bentley glanced at her, who was eating, and then glared at Herbert cold. âYou donât know me, but you s
till dare to be arrogant. If the manager comes in, you will be the one to scram.â
Herbert was stunned.
Bentleyâs aura was too strong, and he had cold eyes. Besides, his manners were very noble.
Herbert wondered if Bentley was that big shot.
âBreenda, who is he?â Herbert asked, looking down at Breenda, who was eating in a good mood.
Breenda thought for a moment and replied casually, âA doctor.â
âIs he really a doctor?â
âYes.â
Herbert frowned and asked, âThen what is your relationship with him? Are you familiar with him?â
Breendaâs hand, which was holding the knife, paused.
Bentley did not say a word and was waiting for her answer.
In the eyes of the two men, Breenda said in a cold voice, âWe are not in a special relationship. Iâve see
n him a few times, and I donât know him well.â
Bentleyâs heart sank, and he felt a sharp pain in his heart.
Herbert, on the other hand, knew what to do. When he looked at Bentley, Herbert became arrogant
again.
âSo you deliberately went against me, right? I originally wanted to let you go for the sake of Breenda, b
ut I donât think I should do so because you are courting death! A person like you should be sent to the p
olice station and be kept in custody for a few days!â
As soon as Herbert threatened Herbert, the door of the private room was open.
The manager quickly entered the private room with four security guards.
Herbert immediately pointed at Bentley and said, âItâs him. He broke into the private room for no reason
, smashed our wine glass, and even framed me for putting drugs into
the wine. Call the police immediately and throw him out!â
But the manager ignored Herbert and walked directly to Bentley, bending down to him flatteringly.
âMr. McGraw, what is going on?â
âMr. McGraw? Who is he?â Herbertâs arrogance faded.
âHow many Mr. McGraw can there be? He is Mr. Bentley McGraw from Salt Lake City!â
The manager glared at Herbert and said in an unfriendly tone, âIâm afraid you donât know that the
biggest shareholder of Rosdwell Restaurant is Mr. Bobby McGraw. You are eating in the McGraw family
âs territory and want to drive their descendants away. How dare you!â
Herbert looked at Bentleyâs face and then at Breenda and was so stunned that he couldnât speak.
The room suddenly fell silent. After a while, Bentley said in a deep voice, âThrow him out. He put drugs
in the wine. Take him to the police station and hand him to the police officers. In the future, you shouldn
ât allow him to enter the restaurant.â
âYes, Mr. McGraw! We will definitely listen to your orders!â
Herbert realized that he had offended a big shot!
âMr. McGraw, please let me go. I was wrong. Iâm sorry that I didnât recognize you! I didnât put drugs in the
Herbert wailed and begged for mercy, wanting to approach Bentley.
Bentley frowned in disgust and kicked him away. âTake him away right now!â
âYes!â
In the private room, the bodyguards quickly covered Herbertâs
mouth. Herbertâs sound of begging and crying was gone, and the four people dragged him out.
When the noise was completely gone, the manager went to Bentley.
âIâm sorry, Mr. McGraw. I didnât expect Mr. Hess to be so mean. We will definitely observe the behavior
of the customers before we let them in.â
Bentley nodded coldly and did not speak.
The manager continued to say, âThe dishes have been eaten by Herbert, and the private room is dirty. H
Bentley was about to say something when Breenda said, âNo. Thanks. Iâm almost finished with my
dinner.â
âThen I wonât disturb you. Call me if you need anything.â
The manager smiled obsequiously and immediately left the private room, and he even closed the
door for Breenda and Bentley.
As he left, the last noise was one, and the private room instantly quieted down.
Bentley walked to the left side of Breenda and sat where Herbert had not sat before.
He looked at Breendaâs profile as she ate dishes and asked in a low voice, âAre you satisfied with
such a fiancé?â
âDo you think Iâm satisfied?â She asked.
Bentley sat upright with his eyes fixed on her face.
âYou are not satisfied. You donât like him. Otherwise, you wouldnât have kept quiet and waited for him to
Breenda smiled but did not answer. Her eyes were filled with bitterness as he asked. âI have to marry a
choice.â
She picked up the empty glass next to her and poured herself a glass of red wine.
âEveryone in Washington knows that I left Washington because I once chased after a man like mad. Wh
Feeling depressed, Breenda picked up the glass of wine and prepared to drink it all.
Bentley snatched the wine glass away again.
