I was currently packing my suit case up because in a couple of days I was going to return back home. The summer here actually wasn't bad I met Spencer,got to hang out with Jordan and Jamal. Olivia and Layla still hated me but who the fuck cared because I was going back home. On top of that my mother took me shopping for the upcoming school year so I was good for the year and I'm also got a head start at driving since driving ages and requirements are different from New York vs California . We've been practicing all summer so hopefully when I get back I can apply for my junior drivers license since I can't actually drive until i am 18 which sucks but I was getting around before I started driving.

I was on the floor on the phone with my best friend from back at home, Serenity. "Girl I haven't seen you all summer it's poppin when I see you" she hyped as I laughed. "Yes I miss you it feels good to talk to a girl and not get into it" I admitted "you and your cousin still going at it?" She asked "yeah and now she got her best friend involved so" I started off then shrugged. "Where they trying to meet up at?" She questioned as I laughed.

"No that's still family at the end of the day" I said shaking my head "bro she dead ass asking to get her ass beat" serenity expressed. "Yeah but then I'll look like the aggressor so" I shrugged some. "Anyways that's besides the point I got you some stuff while I was out shopping" I said "What you get?" She asked as I showed her a cute Louis Vuitton bag.

"No you didn't?" She asked as I just cheesed in the camera she started screaming. "Yeah but we got to match did you get a matching one?!" She questioned. "Of course" I assured showing her mine. "Aye I got you something too since I missed your birthday" she started off running from the camera "it isn't a Louis bag or anything but I thought you would like it" she started off as she unfolded two Aaliyah shirts. "AWWW" I said as she stepped back from the camera showing me the shirt as I smiled even more. "Thank you serenity" I thanked as I looked at them.

"No problem" she said as I just smiled at her making her laugh "what's up with you?" She asked as I just shook my head. "Next summer you coming down here with me" I assured "we'll be eighteen and we go to the beach, go shopping all of that" I said as she smiled. "You want me to be real with you?" She asked as I just smiled "yeah what's wrong?" I questioned. "You need to stay out there, I think it would be better for you" she admitted as I just sighed and looked away from the phone.

"What about you? What about my father, my family even friends that I grew up with?" I asked. "Y/N really sit there and ask yourself if it's really worth it or not to come back here yeah we're here but Beverly Hills sounds like a hell of a way out" she said as I just sat there then I seen a text from my father pop up on my screen.

"Only a couple more days, I can't wait to see you baby girl❤️" he texted as I looked at Serenity.

"Well I'm not going to bother my mother with it, if she wanted me here she would've been offered for me to stay here" I simply said. "But in a way she did offer you" serenity said. "What do you really have out here going for you?" She asked "serenity can we just drop it?" I asked as I finally looked up seeing Storm standing at the door.

"Let me call you back" I said as we hung up. "What's wrong? Are you about to cry" I asked in a giggle, placing my phone in my back pocket as she slowly walked in. "No" she answered as I looked back at her from what I was doing. "You look like a normal thirteen year old" I teased zipping my suit case up and moving it to a corner in the room.

She sat on the bed as I looked at her "so you're ready to go?" She questioned. "Yeah I got people to see when I land" I admitted sitting next to her. "You good?" I asked as she just looked at me. "You know sometimes I feel as if you don't want to be bothered with me." She started off as I looked at her "why?" I asked scrunching my brows some with a little laugh as she looked at me serious. "You know everyone gets to be with their siblings. Spencer and Dillion, Jordan and Olivia, ma and uncle billy, and then there's me here and you all the way across America" she expressed.

"But you know I love you and I'm always there for you" I assured "that's not the point Y/N, God!" She expressed loudly. "Storm you're not the only one I have to think about" I expressed. "You're not thinking about me you're thinking about yourself and what you don't want to leave, not knowing your actions affect other people" she responded with tears rolling down her cheeks. "Everyone has that sibling bond meanwhile I'm here in the house by myself while my sister is in a different state doing her!" She exclaimed standing up.

"Grow up Storm! Everything you simply cannot have your way. It's life!" I started off "it isn't even that serious we've been doing this since you've been born and you're almost fourteen get with the program already!" I started off "if you want a sibling ask your parents to have another baby" I simply said with a small shrug. "I wish you were never my sister" she admitted. "Well you're only my half sister anyway and I'm leaving so it doesn't make a difference to me anyway" I simply shrugged.

Storm just looked at me before she walked out the room and I closed the door behind me. I just sat on the couch with my face in my hands. I then heard the doorbell ring as I just got up and headed downstairs. I swung the door open as I seen Spencer. "What?" I questioned as he chuckled "what's up with you?" He asked as i just shook my head walking away from the door.

I sat down on the couch as I heard him close the door. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to be like that towards you" I apologized as he sat next to me on the couch. "You good. What's going on with you?" He asked looking over at me. "I'm uh- I'm good" I assured them looked at him giving him a fake smile before nodding. "I'm okay" I added with a nod.

He just straight faced me "what happened?" He asked sitting back on the couch. I just shook my head "my sister and I uh got into it and she doesn't want me to leave" I said finally looking over at him. "She told me how everyone is growing up with their siblings and then there's us." I Said as he did a little nod. "Yeah Storm has had a glow since you've been back" Spencer said. "Yeah but it's not like I'm ever really gone. I'm just a phone call and face time away" I said as he sat up off the couch some and we looked at each other.

"It's not the same though" he started off "say I call and FaceTime you everyday while you're gone, we watch movies, go to the skating rink bowling etc while on the phone right?" He asked as I nodded "the intimacy and the presence with us wouldn't be on the same level as if we were physically here. I can't hug you and be by you the way I would want to on the phone and vice versa" he explained as we just looked at each other.

"Yeah but" I started off "there is no but. Sometimes you want to get up at like three in the morning and psychically be with that person" he said as I just looked down and felt a tear roll down my cheek. My tears then started to continuously roll down my cheeks. "I can't leave my father" I admitted as I looked over at him. "You believe in God right?" He asked as I nodded and he wiped my tears. "Stop crying" he softly said as he wiped them all away. "You have to have faith in this process because who's to say you not about to miss out on a blessing that you're blocking?" He asked as I sniffled.

"It's going to be hard and intimidating in the beginning but things and feelings happen for a reason, you can either have God give you the faith to step out and do it or have him make it feel like you have nothing and do it bottom line is, if it's Gods plan it's going to happen regardless" he explained.

"Hear me out" he started off as I faintly laughed "just hear me out" he repeated as i giggled. "I personally think and believe you're better off staying out here" he said as i shook my head and we shared a laugh. "Well, we'll see" I said as we smiled at each other "AYO STORMY!" he started off calling for Storm as he didn't take his eyes off of me. "What you doing?" I asked as he smirked. "STORMY ITS SPENCE!" He shouted as he stood up and Stormy made her way downstairs.

"What?" She said to Spencer as her face looked flushed. "You both need to apologize because I'm sure you both didn't say anything that was cool to each other" he said as I stood up and looked at Storm. I opened my arms wide as she came over to me and we hugged. "I'm sorry" she apologized "I'm sorry Stormy, I'm sorry for everything" I expressed before kissing her cheek and holding her. I just looked over at Spencer as we smiled at each other. "My best friend is here so I'm leaving" Storm said pulling away some "okay text me when you make it there" I said as she nodded and headed out of the door.

Spencer just chuckled "she got some height on you" he teased "not that much" I said walking over to the freezer getting a small cup of crushed ice. "What you doing here anyway?" I asked as he came beside me. "I know you're leaving in the next day or two and I wanted to know if you wanted to go dancing?" He asked looking at me as I looked over at him.

"Like at a studio or?" I asked "yeah" he said with a smile as I laughed "how do you know if I even dance or not ?" I questioned. "Your uncle" he answered as I playfully rolled my eyes making him chuckle. "Let me go get my wallet and keys" I said before heading upstairs.
