Spencer

Y/N and I walked into the dance studio as they were having a session of salsa. "I know you did not take me to a salsa dance class" she said in a small laugh as I chuckled "look he wasn't specific on what type of dancing" I said signing our names on the clip board. We walked into the room filled with other people who had partners as Y/N and I were in the back.

Y/N took her hoodie she had on off leaving her in a cropped cami.

The instructor had us pair up as Y/N placed one hand in mine and the other on my upper back. I placed my hand on her mid back as we both looked down at our feet following the instructor. "Your shoes are nice" I complimented as she smiled and looked down "thanks" she thanked.

"Mucho Gusto" I started off doing a little dance with Y/N as the class was following the lesson. "Don't start" Y/N warned trying not to laugh. "Aye que Fabulosa" I added as she hit my back lightly trying to follow the instructor. "Rae aye, aye, aye" I said turning her around as she laughed. "Really high school musical?" She asked as I chuckled. "I'm just playing, I'm just playing" I assured. "Nah but look" Y/N started off as they started the music through out the studio as Y/N started doing foot work.

"Ooo that was clean" I admitted then tried to do it and immediately stood pigeon toed causing her to laugh. "This is not what I thought you meant by dancing" she said "so what you want to do?" I asked in a chuckle "finish it duh" she said as we continued dancing and pretty much doing our own thing.

We finally walked out "look this is where and who we need to go too" she said showing me a studio "and they got a class coming soon and it's only a couple of blocks down" she added. "Let's go" I said as we started walking. "When did you start dancing?" I asked curious "well since I was a baby I always did little dances and dances for people I never got the chance to go to a school or dance professionally because of money" she explained.

"I hope you can dance for real and not just you know" I started off doing the nae nae. She grabbed her chest "the nostalgia oh my gosh" she said through a fake cry. "No dick head I can do more than that" she corrected. "Can you even dance?" She asked. "I do football" I said as she straight faced me and I chuckled. "You look like you can dance" she said as I just looked over at her "Honestly I'm just out here for you because I can do a little two step and that's about it" I admitted as she smiled.

"It's cool football is your thing and dancing is mine" she said as she popped her collar. "We don't even know if you can dance or not who's to say you don't be off beat when you're dancing?" I asked. "Please let's not even go there when you wasn't even shimmying on beat back there" she dissed as we shared a laugh. "So how was practice?" She asked. "It was cool I'm a little sore but" I started off then shrugged as she looked at me in all seriousness.

"You need to be at home resting instead of out here dancing" she said. "It's your last days here" I brought up. "So what? You need to be good for your season and it's junior year so you know college scouts is going to be on the look out for recruits." She explained as I chuckled. "Y/N I'm fine" I assured "you better not get me in trouble with my uncle" she warned as I laughed. "I won't. Relax" I assured.

"Y/N" we heard as we seen a girl running up to us "uh" I started off as Y/N and I looked at each other confused and she shrugged. "You're Y/M/N's daughter right?" She asked Y/N excitedly. "Yeah" she dragged out confused "why? Who are you?" Y/N asked confused as the girl freaked out and They took a picture of Y/N before running off.

"It's giving me set up vibes" Y/N said looking around as we continued to walk. "Nah I think she was just a fan of your mother and happy to see her long lost daughter" I teased as she just nudged my arm some. "You want some pizza when we're done?" She asked. "Nah I actually got a party to go too" I started off "okay" she said "which brings me to ask you" I said as she just side eyed me. "It's literally the last one before summer ends and you're leaving" I said. "And I would be happy if you came" I expressed.

"And be by myself because you know between Layla and Olivia at least one of them will have you with them" she said. "You had me to yourself all day" I brought up. "Aht technically you had me because you came up with these plans" she corrected as I just smiled at her.  "I'll go what's the worse that can happen, I leave in like three days" she said with a shrug. "Yes!" I exclaimed as she just playfully rolled her eyes and smiled.

"Jamal's coming too" she added "you know I can see you two being together" I brought up as she hit my arm playfully. "That's my God brother no. I don't even look at him like that" she expressed. "Well I'm starting to think you're gay because not one of these boys actually persuaded you into you giving them your number" I said as she just looked away scratching the back of her neck.

"Who is it?" I asked "what you talking about?" She asked "who's the guy?" I questioned. "it's Cam and he only had my Snapchat because he added me by people who were near me and now he texts me" she said. "Eh I don't see you two together" I simply said. "But yet you see Jamal and I?" She questioned.

"It was a joke alright" I said looking over at her "I see you as a free spirit" I said as she looked over at me "bye" she simply said as we shared a laugh. "Okay I'm just playing" I said grabbing her arm some. "You need someone who's going to love and care on you" I truthfully said as she laughed. "That's what you're supposed to do in relationships" she brought up.

"Yes but you need extra love , care and attention. You need someone that can be your comfort because you're there for everyone else's comfort but your own." I explained.

"You're one to talk" she said as I chuckled "I'm serious Y/N we were about to stop a whole half of a day about you because I said I was sore" I said as she waved me off. "For one the day isn't just about me it's about us and two Because you're sore Spencer I need to make sure as a friend you don't make it worse to where you can't play" she explained.  "Over exaggerating" I teased looking over at her.

"Fuck you" she said teasingly back. "You kiss your mother with that mouth?" I asked as she just playfully rolled her eyes and I smiled opening the studio door for her as she thanked me.

We went inside getting signed up as Y/N was looking around and I just admired her. The class soon started and I realized there was like three other guys besides me.

"Is this a girls class?!" I asked Y/N as she was learning some of the moves. "I'm assuming that's why there's that group over there" she said referring to the guys. "We can leave if you want too" she suggested as I chuckled "nah do your thing" I assured going to go sit down with the rest of the guys that was there.

I was watching her do her thing and there was something about her that made her stand out from the rest that was there and I don't know what it was. I seen Layla texted me as I continued watching Y/N dance. The dance instructor I noticed kept eyeing Y/N and it wasn't in a bad malicious way either.

An hour soon passed as the whole class was off to the sides sitting there. She immediately pointed to Y/N as Y/N pointed to herself as the instructor nodded and said something to Y/N before Y/N walked off and stood in the middle of the empty floor. She then picked two more girls as they stood off to the sides of Y/N behind her.

Y/N just looked down as Chun-li by Nicki Minaj begun to play as they stood there waiting for the part they learned to come up. The instructor then paused the music going over to Y/N. "Relax" she said to her before Giving Y/N a smile causing Y/N to smile.

She started playing the music once again as Y/N was more loosened up this time. Y/N begun to dance as it looked like all her fears instantly went away. I noticed people were recording her along with hyping her up.

I just smiled and watched, she honestly looked good. They got done dancing as everyone hyped them up and clapped for them including me. Y/N just laughed walking off as she turned and walked towards me. I got up "you did good" I admitted as she thanked me catching her breath.
