Love in The End Zone| Spencer James (slow Updates)

Y/N

My mothers fashion show was done but she still had work that needed to be done so today I was going to see my fathers sister my auntie Tina at aunt Rebeccas house and board my flight tonight with storm to go back home. I knocked on my aunts door as my aunt Rebecca answered. "Look who finally decided to see her other side of the family." She said as I just ignored it.

"Hi, where's auntie?" I asked "she's out at the corner store getting a couple of things" aunt Rebecca informed letting me in. "How's Beverly Hills?" She questioned then looked me up and down "it's definitely treating you good" she said smartly as I just rolled my eyes. "It's okay, how long will it be before auntie will be back?" I asked. "She just left like fifteen minutes ago" aunt Rebecca informed.

"Spencer James is like number fifty seven in the country right now for drafting into the college league" she started off as I simply nodded. "Yes I know" I said trying to dead he conversation."Now you know once he go into college he's not dating you anymore" she said as I looked at her crazy. "And if he gets into the NFL you two damn sure not going to be together" she Said as I just shook my head.

"Why do you say that?" I asked "once black men make it they drop their women and date a White or Hispanic woman" she started off "your uncle billy is a perfect example" she added. "He's temporary baby. You're about to be a senior next year those college scouts are going to look for him and baby once he sign, he's not looking back" she explained as I felt tears threatening to come out. "Don't start all that, you know what you got to do" she started off. "you don't take any of it seriously and when the sadness comes you take a few of these" she said handing me a ziploc bag full of pills.

"What are these?" I asked "oxycodone" she answered as I shook my head "i can't take it" I answered. "I can put it in a pill bottle and you can get past TSA if you put it in your suitcase and check it in" she explained as I felt my phone vibrate,

I looked down at it seeing a text from Spencer.

Spencer🤍: Hey you straight?

He texted "I'll put it in your bag if you want?" She asked "no I don't I'm good I'll work out my own problems" I said as my phone started vibrating consistently. I looked down and seen Tyrone was calling me.

"Hello?" I answered "hey baby girl" he said as I smiled "hey what's going on?" I asked "well currently I'm locked up" he started off "what the hell happened?!" I asked concerned. "Nothing racial profiling I'll be out in the morning, don't worry about it baby girl" he said as I smiled. "You don't need me to come out there do you?" I asked. "Nah baby do what you got to do out there I'll see you when you come back" he said as I smiled.

"Okay" I said as we said our goodbyes and I smiled some before calling a Lyft to go back to the hotel my mother, sister and I were staying at. "Aunt Rebecca I'm going to head back to the hotel I have to go pack and my mother wants to have dinner with us before we head back home" I said. "So you can't stay with your family?" She asked a little defensive. "No I think I need to go" I said. "Wow Beverly Hills got Yo ass acting different" she said as I looked the opposite way. "Got you acting different, moving different hell even the guys your into" she said then chuckled.

"You went from the hood to the hills and think you're all that and a bag a chips" she said looking me up and down. "That little football player you got, he don't love you. He will never love you.you're good for only one thing" she started off. "And what's that?" I asked. "Laying on your back and helping him with his issues" she said as I just looked down. "And don't let me get started on that dance shit" she started off laughing.

"Why are you like this?" I asked "what?! being real with you?!" She questioned. "One injury and that dance shit is out, in school you're not that fucking bright. You make irrational ass decisions and on top of that who is really accepting your black ass in Beverly Hills?" She asked. "Your sister can pass because she is mixed-" she started off as I interrupted her.

"She's biracial" I answered "tomato, tomato same shit" she said waving it off. "You on the other hand straight negro you're straight black. You're damn sure not a red bone and you not even in the middle you are black" she stressed. "You would never be like your cousins and your sister. So I wished your mother would stop allowing you to think you're like them " she expressed pissed as I felt tears fall from my eyes as she simply just laughed. "I'm done" I simply said.

"My mother teaches me And shows me that I am beautiful with this dark complexion" I said. "And these men don't find that shit attractive, they look to you as a struggle. They're there when they're struggling and not there when they blow up meanwhile you're knocked up" she said. "I can have more and I deserve more" I simply stated before walking off.

"You don't deserve shit" she yelled out after me as I turned around "all you are is like the rest of us which is a baby momma destined to be, receive no love and an angry black woman" she said as I just went blank. "You right" I simply said "but I'll tell you what" I started off then walked off going into the garage grabbing a bat. I walked back into the house immediately swinging at the glass dinner table. "Yes I'm angry" I admitted as she looked at me crazy. "What the hell are you doing?!" She yelled trying to come towards me as I pointed the bat towards her.

I knocked all the pictures off the walls in the living room. Hitting them with the bat breaking the frames. "This is what I'm supposed to be right?!" I yelled. I then smashed the TV with the bat as it fell on the floor. "Now you got her" I simply said knocking over the lamps feeling her try and grab me but I pushed her off.

I started breaking the glass coffee table that sat in the middle of the living room floor. I felt my phone vibrate as I stopped and looked at it seeing that my Lyft was waiting for me outside. "Bye my Lyft is outside" I simply said walking out. On my way out I seen a picture of my dad and I in a picture frame. I just threw it on the floor and knocked over some sculpture aunt Rebecca made that don't nobody give a damn about. "I'm calling the cops" she expressed. "Call em" I simply said looking back at her as she looked as if she seen a ghost. I then walked out the house seeing my fathers sister Tina.

"Hey baby where you going?" She asked confused. "You might want to be careful when walking in there" I warned as she looked at me. "Where you going?" She asked "I got to go" I admitted as she faintly smiled. "I know baby" she said rubbing my back as I hugged and kissed her cheek. "I love you" she said. "I love you too, and I'm going to get you out of this" I assured holding her hand as she just smiled and I walked away throwing the bat to the side before getting into my Lyft. I greeted her as "Hold up" by Beyoncé started playing throughout the car and I smiled to myself. I decided to finally text Spencer back.

Me: I'm good I'm coming back tonight

Spencer🤍: well I'll be there waiting for you

He texted as I just laid my head back on the headrest enjoying the ride back to manhattan.

Storm and I landed and was walking through the airport with our hoods on, sunglasses on and our head hung down low like our mother taught us the whole trip. I just held storms hand as we walked. We got our bags as I turned to my side seeing Spencer just standing there with his hands in his pockets faintly smiling at me. I just ran towards him and immediately hugged him as his arms wrapped around my body.

"It's late, You're here?" I asked pulling away as he stepped back and looked at me. "Im always here for you" he answered as Storm came up.

Storm then hugged Spencer then we went out to the car.

"How was the flight?" He asked as Storm was going on and on as I was just sitting there beginning to think about what my aunt Rebecca was saying about Spencer. I then started thinking about me breaking the things in her house.

I felt Spencer grab my hand as I looked down at our hands then at him. "You good?" He started off as I took my hand out of his and quickly nodded looking out of the window. "Mom said I can spend the night at gabby's since we're out of school tomorrow for teacher work day" Storm informed.

"Where's Gabby's place? I'll drop you off" Spencer said grabbing my hand again as I looked down and faintly smiled. I interlocked our fingers as he squeezed my hand softly for a moment.
