I finally walked into the house with hella balloons from the weekend with Spencer along with a bouquet of roses. "I'm assuming you had a nice weekend" my mother said looking between the balloons and I. "Am I in trouble?" I asked as she laughed. "No you're seventeen almost eighteen I trust you, I raised a Good girl with a good head on her shoulders, just don't do that bullshit when I'm at home" she said as I giggled and went upstairs to my room letting go of all the balloons.

"Damn I was about to send a search party out for you" I heard serenity say as I looked back at her and smiled. "So tell me everything that happened" she brought up. "We went out to eat and he asked me to be his girlfriend then we went to a hotel for the weekend" I said as she smirked. "Valentine's day of course we had sex but Saturday we slept in, got breakfast hung out in the city then went to go to the movies yesterday night" I explained with a smile as she smiled big.

"You seem so happy" serenity said as I nodded. "I am I don't know it just feels different with him. No offense but he's literally my other best friend. I can be myself around him without feeling awkward for being myself in front of a guy" I admitted. "Well I hope you used protection or you'll be like me this summer" She joked. "Nah we handled that Yesterday morning I was not playing" I assured as she laughed.

"I'm glad you finally placed your feelings before someone else's. You deserve it, you don't don't deserve the end of the stick of nothing " She assured as I smiled and thanked her. "Did you talk to Jordan?" I asked as she sighed. "You didn't talk to him?" I asked. "These sweat shirts can't save you it's already 70 degrees in the winter by the time summer comes you're going to be hot as hell" I explained making her laugh.

"Yeah we talked and surprisingly he said he was going to step up" She explained as I smiled. "So why do you still look upset?" I questioned. "My mother said I can move back in but I can't keep it" she informed. "So an abortion?" I asked. "Or adoption which I think is the best option right now because I want to go somewhere That's better than me. I'm only seventeen" she explained as I faintly smiled. "If that's what you want, I'm beside you always" I assured as she smiled and we shared a hug.

"Girl you want any food?" I asked her belly making her laugh. "Do you want to go back to New York though?" I asked. "I just feel like I'm in intruding here especially with being pregnant" She expressed. "Trust me you should know by now if my mother has an issue with something she would let it be known" I said making her laugh. "Stay with me for our senior year, rack up on scholarships and enjoy it" I said holding her hand as I smiled. "Besides you alert transferred so you have to stay here until summer vacation anyway" I reminded as she giggled.

"Okay" she agreed as we hugged each other "I love you Y/N" she admitted "I love you too" I said in between our hug. We then pulled away "Hey, do you think Olivia's acting a bit off with me?" I questioned. "Yeah, the other night when we had dinner it was almost like there was something there but then she was excited about you dancing at Coachella so I don't know" she admitted. "I'll talk to her whenever she's not free because everyone I try she's doing something" I explained.

"You think she could be using again?" She asked as I shrugged "no she's been sober for eighteen months. but somethings going on" I stated. "Just a guess" serenity started off as I looked at her. "Do you think it could be some type of avoidance with you because of Spencer?" She asked. "She said she was okay with it a while ago, why would she be upset?" I asked curious.

"Well at the time she said that, Layla was in the way" serenity started off "she still is somewhat" I brought up. "Yeah but You and Spencer aren't really worried about Layla as much as you used too because you two are together now" serenity said.

"But Olivia may felt as if it would've never went anywhere that's why she said she was okay with you two getting together" serenity explained as I just shook my head. "I knew it" I said to myself.  "No don't do it, I may not know actually why but something is wrong and you should go check up on her" serenity encouraged.

"I've been texting her and trying to call she'll either dry text me or just won't talk" I informed. "I think I'm just going to go over there and talk later"  I said feeling kind of down. "Yeah you can talk to her but don't jeopardize your feelings and happiness for hers" Serenity warned as I just simply went to go lay across my bed.

I rung The doorbell to Uncle Billy's place as the door then opened. Jordan stood there and smiled big. "How was Valentine's Day?" He asked letting me in as I laughed "it was good why you smiling like that?" I questioned as he just shook his head. "Nothing I hope you enjoyed yourself" he said as I just shook my head laughing to myself. "Where's Olivia?" I asked.

"She's upstairs" he answered "bruh you ready to play?" I heard Spencer say as Jordan and I looked at him. "Yeah" Jordan answered "what's up?" Spencer said coming off the step then came over to me kissing my cheek. "You good?"  He asked as I seen Olivia watch him kiss my cheek. "Uh yeah" I started off then looked at Spencer and faintly smiled. "I just thought that I left my bracelet over here" I lied.

"The bracelet I got you? You lost it already?" He asked in a chuckle as I just seen Olivia look down as I looked over at Spencer "no it's right here" I said holding my wrist up. "My other one I got from my mother but my mother texted me saying it's on her dresser" I lied. "I'll see you guys later" I said before looking up at Olivia still on the stairs and walking out of the house.

I got back in the car and just sat there for a moment before backing out of the drive way and going back home. I walked back into the house seeing serenity in the kitchen eating a spoonful of peanut butter. "I couldn't do it" I admitted "you didn't talk to her?!"  She questioned. "No I can't do it because I know that she still has feelings for him and I don't want her to tell him because then I'll feel obligated to break up with him because it's hurting her" I explained as I felt myself about to cry.

"And I really like him, this is something I want badly" I admitted as a tear rolled down my cheek. "Y/N no one is saying to break up with him though" serenity said as I started to cry. "Yeah but it's hurting her and I want everyone to be okay" I said as serenity just got up from the island and hugged me.

"Y/N don't do what I think you're getting ready to do" she warned as I just sniffled. "Give it some time and I'm sure she'll come around." Serenity said as I just simply nodded she then smiled and wiped my tears. I went upstairs getting ready for school for the next day as my phone started to ring. I looked over seeing Spencer calling.

Spencer

I was getting ready for bed as I called Y/N's phone. Y/N answered on the third ring as I just smiled to myself. "Hey" she said "hey you good?" I asked as she sighed some. "Yeah I'm straight I'm just trying to get ready for school in the morning. What you doing?" She asked. "Getting ready for school in the morning" I said as we shared a small laugh.

"You practicing this upcoming weekend?" I asked "Friday night, why what's going on?" She asked. "Well Saturday night Coop is performing at Bella Noches" I started off. "Yeah I know, I'm already going" she said in a small laugh. "Coop beat me to it huh?" I asked with a smile. "Yeah you was too slow" she teased making me smile. "But I'll go with you"  she said.

"Aight now are you going to tell me what's really going on?" I asked as she let out a small chuckle. "I swear I can't keep anything from you even if I wanted too" she said as I smiled. "What's up?" I asked.

"Have you noticed Olivia's been acting different?" She asked "different how?" I asked. "Is she talking to you?" She questioned then continued "because she's avoiding me and when I do I hear from her through text it's cut short" she explained.

"I just know last weekend at the dinner she asked about us which I already told you about. After that she hasn't said much more" I said. "Do you think it's about us? Or me? She asked.

"She told me she was okay with it and honestly baby this ain't got nothing to do with you. We're good" I assured.

"Okay" she said "okay?" I asked "yeah I got you" she answered "now stop frowning you too pretty for that" I complimented as I could tell she was on the other end smiling. "Good night Spence" she said as I smiled "girl you better call me your baby, bae or something I ain't been doing all this running after you for nothing for you to say Spence " I said making her laugh which made me smile.

"You laughing I'm serious" I said in a chuckle. "Goodnight sugar lump" she said as I made a face. "Okay Y/N, We are black" I said lowly hearing her laugh. "Sweetie pie" she added as we just shared a laugh. "So how about daddy?" she brought up as I looked around. "I will come over there right now" I stressed making her laugh. "all you gotta do is give me the word and I'm on your doorstep ready" I expressed as she continued to laugh.

"Uh no I still have to recoup from the past two days with you" she admitted as I chuckled. "Alright honey bun" she started off as I smiled big "that's was corny but cute" I said as we shared a small laugh. "Yeah it was a little cringe" she admitted as I chuckled. "Spence is fine, I want you to say baby and stuff like that naturally" I explained with a smile.

"Okay" she answered "good night" I said "good night baby" she said softly with such ease before hanging up as I just smiled to myself.
