I was getting ready For Coachella and literally haven't seen none of my family since being out here. Tonight after the show was going to me the first time. My phone vibrated as I seen a text from Jordan.
Jordan: We're otw
He texted with a picture as I just laughed to myself.
I was in the midst of getting my makeup done as everyone else was also. "Y/N" I heard as they stood next to me and I looked at them through my mirror, noticing it was Ashley.
Ashley was Beyoncé's backup dancer leader and been with her Beyoncé forever. "Yes?" I answered as she smiled. "You nervous?" She asked "a little" I lied. I was legit about to shit myself. She just let out a small laugh "Don't be" she said before sitting in the sat next to me. "You are a very good dancer and you're going to do so good" She added as I continued to smile.
"I know that being the youngest intimidated you some but there were days you honestly out danced the OG's, myself included" she said reaching over to rub my back as we shared a small laugh.
"You still in high school that shit is crazy. to have Beyoncé look at you and put you on stage next to her with college students and adults because she thought you was ready. That's a blessing so don't be scared show the world what you can do" she explained as we shared a smile.
"Just a heads up though" she started off then leaned in some to me "She's thinking about taking you on her upcoming tour with her" She informed as I looked at her excited "wait what?" I asked as she just placed her finger over her lips then laughed some. "Do good tonight" she said before getting up. "Ashley" I called out as she just smiled back at me placing her finger over her lips.
I just smiled as my phone was vibrating, I looked down seeing Olivia calling me which was odd because she usually doesn't call me unless I call and out conversations are very brief. I placed the phone to my ear "hello?" I answered "Hi Y/N" she said as I just sat there. "What's up?" I simply asked. "I don't know if Spencer told you this or not-" she started off. "He wasn't abled to make it was he?" I asked. "No-no he's here we're heading out to the set early so we can be in the front.
"We'll for one he's going back to south Crenshaw high and The other night" she started off as I just looked at myself in the mirror. "We kissed" she said as I looked down in my lap. "You two kissed?" I asked "yeah and it-" she started off but I decided to cut her off "you would tell me this before I'm literally about to perform" I said irritated. "Y/N I just thought it was best you knew" she said. "Bye" I simply said. "Y/N listen" she said "bye I'm getting ready we'll talk when I get to the house" I simply said hanging up before she had anything else to say.
I just sighed to myself and tried not to cry because I was getting my make up done. "You want to just work on your hair for right now?" The makeup stylist asked "no it's fine you can continue" I said with a warm smile. I was soon done as everyone went out to take pictures and talk. Ashley came up to me as we took a picture together. I got my picture taken so I could show my mother one of the outfits.
I then decided to FaceTime her as she answered "baby look at this" she yelled as she showed me the crowd and how they were next to the stage. "Let's get it!" Jordan yelled into the phone. "We out here baby girl!" Uncle billy expressed as he was in the phone Laura then waved and placed her thumbs up.
"You got it sweet heart!" She yelled over the crowd.
Spencer then appeared with a big smile. "You got this! And we're going to be right out here waiting for you!" He yelled as I smiled. "Liv said good luck!" Jordan added. "You got your sister out here crying" my mother said as I laughed "tell her to stop before I cry" I expressed as I seen everyone starting to get ready. "Where's serenity?" I asked. "She's at the Airbnb with precious, coop and Darnell They're live streaming it. We got you baby" she assured as I smiled.
"Alright guys I got to go" I started off. "See you on the stage" I said. "See you on the stage baby." She started then smiled "I love you" She said as I smiled big "love you too momma" I said before hanging up. We all went to go put our phones up and went into a group prayer then we started lining up. Go thing I wasn't in the intro because I would've had no time to hurry and change. "Y/N" I heard as I turned and looked behind me at one of the dancers. "Good luck" she said poking my sides as I smiled. I was still upset about earlier of course but right now I had to think about myself and take in this moment.
Spencer
"Oh my God, it's Beyoncé!" Jordan said looking at the stage stunned as Storm and I just looked at him. "Jordan please don't embarrass us" Storm said as we then seen Beyoncé standing at the top of the pyramid as everyone was screaming especially Jordan. I was scanning the stage looking for Y/N as she was on the left right of where Beyoncé would be at once she made it center stage.
"Y/N!" We heard someone yell "she got fans?!" Coach asked looking around. "All she do is dance" Olivia said as Beyoncé started to speak. "Coachella you ready?" Beyoncé simply asked as everyone erupted into louder screams. "Let's go get em!" She said as "crazy in love" begun to play and she started walking down the steps.
They all started twerking to juvenile as the crowd got louder. "Wait a minute" Coach started off. "You better work bitch!" Someone yelled. "Y/N!" Storm scream loudly.
They went through crazy in love, freedom, lift every voice and now was the start of formation. Y/N was nodding her head to the beat like everyone standing in the front right next to Beyoncé herself.
"Y/N!" I yelled as her eyes went across the crowd then finally looked at where we were as she just winked at us continuing to dance. "YOU BETTER DANCE Y/N!" Her mother yelled.
Once that song was done they went into an interlude I'm assuming setting up for the next performance. "Sorry" begun to start as Olivia immediately started singing along to it.
Beyoncé then paused the song beginning to do a small skit.
"Ladies are we sick and tired of the bullshit!" She said as the dancer formed a line and they started stepping . "Suck, on my balls!" They chanted as I was watching Y/N.
"She a little too hype for this song" Jordan joked as I chuckled "what you do?" Storm joked nudging my arm some as I chuckled and nudged her back. The performance kept going as we were almost half way through the whole performance.
She got done singing "I care" as the best went into partition and Storm and Y/M/N immediately looked back at Coach as he was enjoying himself. "Dad about to lose his shit when he sees this" Jordan said as I chuckled.
"How bad could it be, it's Beyoncé" I said as Y/N was sitting directly behind Beyoncé as she started to sing. They opened their legs as I watched Coach smile fade. I just placed my phone up zooming in on Y/N as she continued to dance. Yoncè came on as it just went down hill from there and Coach.
"YES Y/N!" Storm yelled out as Y/N continued to dance and she didn't mess up not once so far. In fact I'm not even sure if that's the same girl that was freaking out a couple of days ago about this very performance.
We seen J Balvin, Jay Z, Solange and Destiny's child before the show ended. "Beyoncé made history you guys" Jordan said as everyone was being directed out "traffic is about to be hell" I heard Coach say. "When do we get to see Y/N?" Storm asked excitedly. "She's riding back to the hotel with Beyoncé's crew to get her things. you guys are going back to the house and I'm going to pick her up" her mother explained as we started slowly but surely making our way out of the festival.
I started FaceTiming her as she answered "hello?" She answered in tears. "You did so good" i said as Jordan recorded our FaceTime call. "You did so good" I repeated as she nodded wiping her tears away. "Suck on my balls pause!" Jordan said into the camera making her laugh some. "He's been on ten since Beyoncé stepped out" I informed as we finally made it into the parking lot.
She just smiled "I'll see you when I get to the house" she said as we said our goodbyes and she hung up.
