It was our last day of school and we were about to get released for lunch. I just kept looking over at Y/N as she was talking to Alexis. I looked back at my phone thinking about texting her but I decided to just catch her after class to ask if she wanted to get sushi together at lunch. The bell rung as she threw her purse over her shoulder and grabbed her phone off the desk continuing to talk to Alexis. "Y/N" I said catching up to her as she continued talking and Alexis looked at me and smiled "what's up Spencer?" She asked. "Hey" I said before I looked over at Y/N.

"Hey" I said as she smiled "hey" she responded "you want to get some sushi for lunch?" I asked as she nodded. "Yeah I would like that a lot" she answered as She smiled and walked away with Alexis. "Damn she got you like that bro?" Jordan asked as I shook my head "Don't talk about me when you got a whole baby on the way" I joked as he chuckled. "Man I'm in love" he expressed as I just smiled. "Besides I thought something was going on with you and Liv?" Jordan asked as I shook my head. "I don't know it feels kind of forced and it just doesn't feel the same" I admitted as Jordan pat my back some.

"Sister aside I know what she did and if don't want to be with her you don't have to be. What she did was pretty fucked up and how she treated you and Y/N was even more fucked up. I got your back with any decision that you make because she has to be held accountable" Jordan said as Olivia brushed beside me.

"You want to leave to get some food?" Olivia asked with a big smile. "Nah he's actually getting lunch with me" Jordan lied. "Yeah we're going to go get some lunch" I added. "ALONE" Jordan stressed as Olivia held her hands up in surrender. "Well excuse me go have fun" she said as looked at jordan "have you spoken to Y/N?" Olivia asked "why?! If you hate the fact she's here, why ask about her?" Jordan simply asked. "It wasn't meant like that" she started off.

"Yeah whatever" jordan simply said rolling his eyes and walking away. "Ever since Y/N said what she said at the Rescue Smoothie she doesn't even come to the house like that and when she does it's to go somewhere with jordan" Olivia expressed. "Why do you care now?" I asked. "Because although we're talking I don't want her to feel some type of way" Olivia said as I just shook my head. "Look at how you acted since day one, look at who you call your boyfriend, look at the things you and your best friend have said about your OWN cousin." I started off.

"If I was her I'd leave you alone too" I admitted before walking away from her. I then found Y/N talking to Ashley and Alexis in the cafeteria. "Excuse me ladies" I interrupted as Y/N looked back at me. "You ready?" I asked as she nodded. "I'll see you guys later" she said as we started walking with each other. I grabbed our containers from the lunch ladies in the as Y/N grabbed the chop sticks I got my wallet out about to pay but the lunch lady shook her head. "It's fine" she assured then smiled at Y/N as Y/N smiled back.

She grabbed some napkins and two water bottles as we went outside to eat. "You want to eat on the field?" She asked "on the field?" I asked in a chuckle "not like on the field but on the bleachers" she suggested. "Yeah" I agreed as we soon got seated on bleachers. "So this is where you be at during lunch?" I asked. "Either this or in the car with the girls" she answered.

"Yo it's almost been two months of not talking to you like that, what's been going on? What you got planned for the summer?" I asked as she just smiled. "Well nothing honestly" she admitted. "Really I thought you were going on tour to dance for Beyoncé?" I asked as she shook her head. "I think I'm going to take this summer out to do me." She admitted. "Besides it took up my whole summer and basically all of my first semester of senior year so I made that decision to sit this one out" she explained.

"What did she say about you not wanting to go on tour?" I asked "she understood it and wanted me on whatever project she did next. She understood exactly where I was coming from" she said biting a piece of her sushi. "You know if you want to come out with us to Vegas you're always welcomed." I brought up as she shook her head.

"Nah you guys enjoy that while I fix myself because there's things about me I have to change and it's not going to get done if I don't work on it" she explained. As I chuckled and looked her up and down "You looked good, and your kind what could you be working on?" I questioned.

She just smiled "thanks but sometimes being kind just don't get you anywhere. I'm not saying I'm about to be a bitch but I have to value my time and energy on the right people and things." She explained. "And sometimes I just got to get out my head and do what makes me happy" she added dipping her sushi in some yum yum sauce.

"And what is that?" I asked "I've been so caught up I don't even know" she admitted. "Well you got to do what you got to do right?" I asked as she nodded. "How have you been? How's your arm?" She asked as I smiled. "I'm doing good and my arm is good too it's just sometimes I think about that night and it's like my arm goes numb" I admitted.

"You spoke to your therapist about it?" She asked "yeah he's saying i have a stuck point and until I get over that stuck point I won't be abled to fully recover." I said as Y/N nodded. "Mines did too" Y/N admitted. "You have a stuck point too?" I asked as she nodded. "Yeah mines is Me being in my thoughts, just over thinking and Olivia" she answered. "Really?" I questioned as she nodded.

"Yeah I don't really want to go in depth but I have to realize not everything is my fault and to stop being hard on myself " she comfortably admitted. "What about you?" She asked "mines is uh Coop" I truthfully said as she looked at me. "Oh my Gosh are you okay?!" She asked. "Nah I'm good. I wasn't going to bring it up to coop until the end of the summer and after her performance in Vegas." I explained. "You want to save everyone and spare their feelings but it seems like it's more a burden on us then on them" she said picking at her food with the chop sticks.

"I wanted to talk to you about something since I finally got your attention" I started off as she looked at me. "What?" She asked as I just looked at her. "That song you made" I started off as she shook her head. "It was nothing it was just me" she started off then shrugged. "Yeah but it wasn't. you were referring to you being too much in your head wasn't you?" I asked. "Yeah" she answered. "And then towards the end you said-" I started off.

"It takes you and me to make us , One of those days you had enough, I'll be there" she simply said as we looked at each other. "Yeah I know what I said" she admitted. "AYE!" We heard as we looked at Coach and he threw his hands up. "What?" Y/N asked. "What are you two doing?!" He asked "eating" Y/N simply answered. "I'd suspend you myself but it's the last day of school" he added. "WHAT WAS THAT I COULDN'T SEE YOU!" She said as I chuckled. "Haha very funny" he sarcastically said waving us off as he walked away.

"We should probably get going" she said standing while placing her top to the container on her sushi rolls. She placed her purse over her shoulder and looked down at her phone as I just looked at her and her hair and her attire.

"That pink looks really pretty on you" I admitted as it complimented her dark skin tone a lot. "Thanks" she thanked with a smile.

I helped her down the bleachers as we made it to the field and she smiled thanking me. "Just ate some sushi now I'm about to get some Coochie" I said looking over at her as she laughed loudly "bye" she said through her laugh. "That was smooth" I admitted "no you're hella annoying" she said through her laugh as I chuckled.

"I miss my best friend so Call me when you stop being boujee" I teased as she playfully rolled her eyes. "Ain't nobody being boujee towards you" she said as I chuckled. "Nah but seriously call me when you ready to talk for real I miss talking to you" I said in all seriousness. "And if I'm not?" She asked in a small laugh. "I'mma blow your voicemail box up talking to you about random shit" I said as she just laughed.

"What you going to talk about?" She asked through her laugh. "I'll give you random facts about random shit and ask you basic questions so you have to answer and Imma send you hella memes and voice recordings talking about my day " I said making her shake her head and laugh. "Spencer you better not or you're getting blocked" she warned.

"And we have Instagram" I simply said as I she just shook her head laughing. "Bye Spencer" she said walking off "YOU GOT UNTIL MIDNIGHT" I shouted behind her as she just turned back and laughed.
