My phone has been buzzing nonstop since it hit midnight and I'm about to spazz on his ass seriously. He sent me two voice recordings and the rest was him trying to call me not allowing me to use my fucking phone. I went to my messages and clicked on the first voice recording.
"Let me explain something to you" He started off as I just sat there listening "fuck all this talking shit, if I'm attracted to you, IM ATTRACTED TO YOU. YOU MY GIRL NOW. THAT'S IT-THATS ITTTT!" He yelled. "Is that Spencer?!" Serenity asked walking into the room eating popcorn and rubbing her belly. "Yes" I said with a sigh as she laughed and I played the next voice recording.
"AND IF YOU LIKE ME , WE MARRIED. HI HONEY!" He yelled as I couldn't help but laugh along with Serenity. "Yo is he deadass?" She questioned. "He got to be drunk because ain't no way" I said as I seen him send another voice recording so I clicked to play it." EITHER YOU LOVE ME OR YOU LOVE ME I DON'T WANT TO HEAR NONE OF THAT LIKING SHIT. FUCK IT I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THAT SHIT" he started off as serenity was dying of laughter.
"SHUT UP, YOU MY SOUL MATE YOU AIN'T GOT NO CHOICE. WHEN WE GETTING MARRIED?! WHEN IMMA PUT A BABY IN YOU?! I WANNA KNOW, LOVE ME OR LOVE ME NOT!!!" He shouted as the voice recording stopped.
"Spencer is definitely on some shit I have never heard this nigga yell off the field" serenity said as I shook my head.
I decided to send a voice recording. I placed the phone up to my lips and begun to talk calmly. "First off why are you yelling? Two where the hell are you at?" I asked as i sent it and he begun to FaceTime me as I answered. "I'm with JJ and Jordan" he said proudly "oh and Darnell" he added as someone took the phone and now Darnell was in the camera. "We're at JJ's party bro please come get this negro or answer his texts something" Darnell stressed as Serenity was just laughing. I on the other hand felt a little embarrassed because it was funny or whatever but you doing this at a party with hella people, like your ass ain't got nothing to lose.
"I'm on my way" I simply said getting out of the bed. I went to my mirror in my bathroom beginning to fix my braids.
"You going to pick him up and take him out all the way to Crenshaw by yourself?" She questioned. "No and I can't take him to my uncles because he's going to be tight." I started getting my keys "ma is out of town so He's just going to have to stay here for the night" I informed. "Yeah But what about Olivia and him staying the night here?" She asked. "I don't see Olivia going to pick him up hell, she's probably at the party" I said throwing on something quick.
"You can start the movie without me. I'll be back" I assured. "Be careful" she said as I nodded. Going downstairs to my mothers car she's been letting me use since I've been here. I got in the car and drove over to JJ's place as it was hella cars parked out along with loud music and people hanging out in the front.
I got out the car walking through the door of the house as I started dialing Darnell's number. "Hello?" He answered on the third ring. "I'm here" I said walking past people as I looked and seen Layla dancing with Asher. Darnell then appeared in front of me with Spencer. I just looked at him. "Why you being like that baby?" He asked trying to grab my hand some as I snatched it away.
"I'm not your baby" I simply stated "Aight" he slurred
I then looked at Darnell "we tried to get him to chill out and Jordan and I even wanted to take him home but he ain't listening" Darnell explained. "Thanks" I thanked them looked at Spencer "Let's go" I simply said as I turned and we walked out of the party together.
We got in the car as I started the car and the locks immediately locked. "Put your seatbelt on" I instructed as he did as told. "What happened to texting me before midnight?" He asked. "Spencer fuck that right now" I started off then drove off. "What the hell are you doing?" I asked looking between him and the road.
"I had a couple of shots" he said looking over at me. "Yeah which is straight but you at a whole party it wasn't just you, Darnell, Jordan and JJ. Other people was there too and you being like that someone could've easily recorded you and fucked up any chances you have to get a football scholarship" I stressed. "These schools look at that shit Spence. You can't just be out here showing your ass everywhere" I expressed as he chuckled and I looked at him crazy.
"Yo what the fuck is funny?" I asked continuing to drive. "You go from one extreme to the next. One minute you're avoiding me next minute you care about me. Make up your damn mind Y/N" he expressed. "This has nothing to do with me avoiding you . All it took was a nigga to record you one time and set you up, ONE!" I stressed. "You don't know who the hell envies you and you being at a party like that isn't you" I explained.
"Baby" he said trying to grab my hand but I moved it. "I'm not your baby and then you keep bringing up that I'm avoiding you like you don't see what the hell is going on" I stressed. "It ain't about them" he stressed raising his voice. "Not to sound mean but I don't give a damn about them you the only one out here sparing feelings that doesn't need to be spared" he added as I just shook my head to myself.
"So me sparing her feelings is wrong when technically that's someone you're supposed to be getting back with?" I asked
"Y/N I don't even care anymore. I'm tired of chasing you. You're making it hard to even be your friend, I text and call you, you either respond late or not at all. You've been distant ever since the shooting" he explained.
"Nah actually before the shooting but it's like you disappeared after you visited me at the hospital" he explained as I just continued driving not saying anything. I pulled into the driveway. "You know once you were shot I somehow felt like it was my fault but between Layla and Olivia In my face constantly once you got shot telling me how I need to go back where I came from and that you getting shot was all my fault. It took a toll on me and I didn't want to be around any of y'all" I admitted then looked over at him.
"And this summer I don't want to be either. I just want to go to therapy, go travel with my mother and just worry and work on myself." I admitted. "So after tomorrow morning I just want to be left alone" I added before opening the car door hearing him call my name as I just got out went to my front door.
He finally followed behind me into the house "you can sleep on the couch" I simply said going upstairs to get him a blanket and pillow. I came downstairs handing it to him. "Good night" He said as I turned the lights out "night" I simply said before going upstairs. I went inside my room as serenity was knocked out on my bed. I just kicked off my shoes and got into the bed going to sleep.

I went downstairs getting ready to go for a work out then go to my therapy session right after. "Morning I heard" as I turned seeing Spencer laying on the couch still as if he just woke up. "Hey" I simply said getting a protein shake out of the fridge.
"I'm sorry about last night I-" he started off coming into the kitchen as I shook my head. "It's fine" I assured "but I can see you're not fine" he said as I shook my head.
"I'm okay. You ready?" I asked him "nah it's all good I'll walk. I know you're about to go workout" he said as I faintly smiled. "I didn't mean to come off mean last night I just care about you a lot and only want to see what's best for you-" I started off as he shook his head. "You're straight, I was wild'n." He started off. "Thank you" he thanked as I faintly smiled then kissed his cheek. "You're welcome" I said he started heading towards the door. "I'll call you later" I let out as he turned and smiled.
"Okay" he answered as he walked out and I smiled to myself.
About 10 minutes later I heard the doorbell ring and I went to go get it. I opened the door seeing Olivia standing there. "You left with Spencer last night?" She asked as Layla walked up behind her. "Its 8 in the morning Don't bring this bullshit to my door" I said calmly. "Did you leave with Spencer last night?" She asked slowly as I just rolled my eyes "yes I picked him up" I simply answered.
"What did you two do?" Olivia asked. "Look" I started off "you and your side kick need to get up from in front of this door" I warned. "You slept with him?" Layla asked. "If he's dealing with her why would I sleep with him?" I asked. "Because that's what hoes do right?" Olivia asked hurt. "Yo get the fuck out my face" I simply said looking her up and down before locking the house door behind me at this point just going to therapy.
