George then quickly and succinctly briefed Eric on what had happened at Cirrus Mall.

The cold and intense aura around Eric slowly dissipated. His eyes darkened as he murmured, “Mrs. Xavier?”

His lips curled into a cruel smile, his gaze distant and icy. “Daring to compete with Kate, let’s bankrupt the Xaviers.”
