After the police left, Yoel returned to the villa.

He saw Joshua sitting there, emitting a chilling aura. He approached Joshua, saying, “Mr. Neal, they

have been taken away by the police.”

“Arrange a meeting with Jayleen tomorrow. Also, investigate the incident where Cynthia was attacked

last time. Look into it carefully for me.” Joshua’s gaze was unfathomable.

“And one more thing”

“What is it?”

“How is the investigation into Cynthia and Mitchell’s incident at the hotel going?” Joshua left no detail

unaddressed.

“We conducted the investigation and found some oddities. We’re currently awaiting the results of the

second round of investigation. Once the results are out, I’ll show them to you. Yoel said with a frown.

Joshua replied faintly. “Mm.”

After this matter concluded, Yoel remembered something else. Then, he took out a small custom–made

playing card from his jacket pocket and handed it to Joshua “Mr. Young asked me to give this to you”

Joshua glanced at it, then sat on the sofa, an air of detachment and coolness surrounding him. In

response, he simply said,” Tell him to go play with Yordan on the set. I don’t have time.”

“It’s not about that,” Yoel explained

Joshua raised an eyebrow, confused

“Mr. Young said that this card was left at his place when Ms. Yates visited him. He asked me to return it

to you,” Yoel relayed everything precisely, not missing a single detail.

A simple senterice successfully caught joshua’s attention. Then, he quicldy took the King of Diamonds

playing card and uttered, “At his place?

Cynthia always had a disdain for Chyler, so how could she possibly go to his house?

This guy must be out of his mind.

Just as this thought crossed his mind, lie noticed the peculiarities of this playing card.

The material was unique, very thin, and, most importantly, smoother than a newly bought deck.

“Where did he get this?” Joshua glanced at Yoel.

Yoel was puzzled

Did he not tell Joshua just now?

It was left behind when Cynthia visited him

“Besides asking you to deliver this to me, did he say anything else?” Joshua toyed with the playing

card.

If it were an ordinary item left behind by Cynthia, Chyler would have had someone deliver it to the Neal

Group’s office. However, it was being presented to him in this manner.

Yoel felt that Joshua was truly perceptive. “Mr. Young also said that if you want to know how Cynthia

left this playing card at his place, you should visit him.”

Upon hearing this, Joshua pondered for a moment. Then, he grabbed his phone and car keys and

headed outside.

“Mr. Neal,” Yoel called out.

“Reschedule tomorrow morning’s arrangements. I’ll go find Chyler Joshea remained indifferent as

usual, giving instructions.

“In that rase, what about your divorce with Ms. Yates in the afternoon?” Yoel seemed to grasp

something, suddenly

“Postpone it.”

“And the reason?”

“I went to the suburbs to find her tonight, ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere, and my phone died. I

was busy until late at night and had a sleepless night because Chyler took me away for a discussion.

I’m mentally fatigued and need rest.” Joshua had already prepared an excuse.

Yoel felt somewhat relieved, sensing that Joshua was finally growing up. “Alright ”

Joshua knew that Yoel was reliable in handling matters, so after spealong with him, he took his car and

left.

To make everything more convincing, Yoel calculated the time and sent a message to Cynthia, saying

they were busy and had arranged everything very properly.

In this way, the next day, Cynthia would not sense anything amiss, nor would she think that Joshua was

intentionally delaying.

However, Joshua did not expect that there would be an additional reason to delay the divorce at the

last moment

Joshua drove in the dark and arrived at Chyler’s place an hour later.
