Chapter 215
Mr. Neal, Mrs. Neal’s Gone With The Money
Chapter 215
Mitchell fraze. Obviously, he did not expect Cynthia to say that. After thinking for a moment, he told her,
âThereâs no way to cut off the past between you two completely. Not to mention the cooperation
between the Yates Group and the Neal Group. Even the fact that Joshua knows you told Old Man Neal
but didnât tell him about it means heâll probably continue to pursue you.â
âHeâs not that kind of person. Thereâs no deep connection between us.â Cynthia deleted his WhatsApp
contact
He only thought she was suitable.
Mitchell smiled faintly and said meaningfully, âThatâs not necessarily true. â
Cynthia was confused.
What did he mean?
Mitchell did not say anything more and drove straight to the airport.
On the way, Cynthia glanced back at the rear seat and felt relieved that Mitchell had taken the
important documents and her laptop with him.
Meanwhile, when Joshua went to Old Neal Manor to find Old Man Neal, the butler informed him that he
had gone out with a few of his friends and would not be back for a couple of days Joshua knew Old
Man Neal did not want to see him because of the divorce, but he did not mind
Thinking that he would eventually discover Cynthiaâs identity, he left and returned home.
That night, he returned to Sovereign Heights Even though it was just him alone, he felt empty and
lacked the sense of security be used to have. Furrowing his brow, he tried to shake off the restlessness
in his heart, but the feeling lingered.
Joshua stood up and wandered around the villa. He unknowingly ended up in the room where Cynthia
used to live.
There were no traces of Cynthia anymore, only the expensive items she bought during her shopping
sprees to vent her
emotions.
Despite being penniless, she did not take these valuable items with her.
What an idiot.
Joshua looked at each item, and images of her selecting these things, along with her expressions and
how she looked at him, flashed in his mind.
This continued for a full two hours.
It was unly when Yoelâs call came through that Joshua snapped out of it.
Realizing what he was doing, he uncomfortably and somewhat irritably left the room, carrying his own
pride with him.
What was he doing? It was just a divorce, and it was not such a big deal.
Besides making him angry, she did not have any other virtues.
After pulling himself together, Joshua finally answered Yoelâs call and left the room with his phone.
The lights B
In the spacious villa Elluminated it as if it were daytime. Standing in the corridor on the second floor,
Jostain felt as
if he was surrounded by loneliness, cut off from the bustling world.
âMr. Neal?â Yoel noticed that Joshua had not said anything on the other end of the phone, so he called
him again.
Joshua was still looking at the sofa downstairs as if Cynthia were sitting there binge watching a show.
Upon hearing Yorl calling him, he responded in a nonchalant tone, âWhat is it?â
Yoel was taken aback
2/2
It seemed that he was concerned for nothing.
âThe incident of the assault on Ms. Yates that you asked me to investigateâ¦â Yoel started again
patiently, counting on the high salary.
Without letting him finish, Joshua interrupted him coldly, âWeâll talk about it tomorrow. Come over now.â
âWhere?â
âSovereign Heights.â
âNow?â
âNow
Yoel did not dare to refuse.
As Joshuaâs personal assistant, except for the vacations Joshua granted himself, he was practically on
call twentyâfour hours a day.
