Chapter 279
Mr. Neal, Mrs. Neal’s Gone With The Money
Chapter 279
âDonât pay attention to him. Where else do you want to go? Letâs go.â Cynthia had always been
indifferent when it came to Joshua
âUpstairs.â
âOkay.â
The two of them simply ignored Joshua
When they entered one of the stores, Shirley went in to try on clothes, and the salesperson, noticing
Joshua standing outside, asked Cynthia tentatively, âMiss, is the gentleman outside with you?
âNo,â Cynthia replied calmly.
With her naturally beautiful appearance and composed demeanor, the salesperson believed her
immediately,
She hesitated but decided to advise Cynthia, âWhen you leave later, be careful. It seems like he has
been following you.
âAlright, thank you for the reminder,â Cynthia expressed her gratitude.
Shirley bought two pieces of clothing, and Cynthia helped her carry them.
For the next few hours, Cynthia and Shirley continued shopping. However, Shirley was the one doing
most of the buying. Nonetheless, whenever they found something suitable for Cynthia, Shirley bought it
for her too
At four oâclock, Joshua watched them enter another store, slightly frowning
He was genuinely curious.
How could Shirley, who appeared petite, cute, and fragile, continue shopping for four hours?
It was not that he was tired. It was mainly because, throughout the entire journey, he had received too
many strange looks.
Those gazes made it seem like he was some kind of stalker.
Ten minutes later, Cynthia and Shirley emerged from the store, and Joshua walked up to them and
initiated a conversation with Cynthia. âHow much longer do you want to shop?â

How long they wanted to shop seemed unrelated to him.

no longer had the impulse to get angry as soon as she saw him.
âI didnât forget.â Joshuaâs gaze was deep, his voice as low as ever. âI just wanted to explain a few things
to you.â
Cynthia remained as indifferent as ever. âWe have no relationship between us. If you need to explain
something, you donât have to do it with me. If itâs businessârelated, you should talk to the Yates Group
president.â
With that one sentence, Cynthia blocked Joshuaâs attempt.
No matter what he wanted to discuss, he could not avoid the distinction between personal and
business matters.
The more distant and Indifferent she appeared, the more Joshua wanted to establish a connection with
her, disrupt her calm â demeanor, see her get angry with him, and show some emotional fluctuations.
âThen letâs not talk about us. Grandpa asked me to call him when I see you. He said he has something
to tell you.â Joshua took out his plone.
Cynthia was about to refuse, saying she could contact Old Man Neal herself. However, Joshua had

Old Man Neal picked up the phone quickly on the other end, with Moses still accompanying him.
Old Man Neal had some grievances toward Joshua, to the paint where his first sentence was filled with
impatience, âWhatâs the matter? Donât waste my time while Iâm practicing painting with Moses.â
Joshua knew that after his divorce from Cynthia, he had become the least favored one in the family.
âCynthia is with me
Once those words were spokenâ¦
