her phone aside and locked eyes with him, questioning, “Are you sure the damages from last night only

amount to 8314 USD?”

“Mm,” Joshua responded softly.

Joshua, setting aside their previous issues, was undeniably an alluring man. His presence satisfied her

severe case of ‘looks addiction and cultivated her fondness for a man’s voice, hands, dressing in formal

attire or shirts, legs, and so on

In other words, Joshua’s physical attributes were off the charts, surpassing celebrities in the

entertainment industry.

In the past, Cynthia often came across a joke in the comments section when she watched dramas. As

long as the villain was good–looking, one’s morals would be thrown out the window.

At that time, Cynthia did not think the villains were particularly handsome after finishing an entire

Joshua, who seemed like a different person,

Joshua observed Cynthia’s transition from nonchalance to wariness, maintaining his composed

expression while feeling puzzled inside.

He had not done anything that could warrant such a reaction from her.

“Ken, Cynthia called out.

Kendrick, preoccupied with thoughts of the surveillance footage, snapped back to attention upon

hearing Cynthia’s voice. He immediately composed his demeanor before entering the study and asked,

“What’s wrong?”

“Mr. Neal calculated the total losses you caused last night, and it amounts to 8314 USD. You should

transfer the money to him,

Cynthia informed him.

8314 USD?

Kendrick frowned slightly. Afraid of mishearing, he double–checked with joshua, “Mr. Neal, are you sure

it’s only 8314 USD?”

After carefully observing Joshua’s furniture and appliances, which were mostly smart devices, Kendrick

could not believe the damage done was so cheap.

“Yes. Only 8314 USD,” Joshua replied calmly, his expression unchanged.

Convinced that there was indeed minimal damage, Kendrick proceeded to transfer 8314 USD to

Joshua. What he did not know was that earlier in the day, Joshua had already replaced the damaged

items in his house and made subtle adjustments, even to the tile with a slight mark.

“All done.” Kendrick showed Cynthia.

Once Joshua received the payment, Cynthia saw no son to stay.

“If you remember anything else that needs compensation, feel free to contact Ken anytime.”

“Okay,” Joshua responded.

Although he did not understand how he had managed to upset Cynthia again, Joshua was certain that

she did not hold him in high regard at the moment, or she would not have mentioned contacting

Kenneth instead.

Joshua did not try to hold them back any longer, afraid of creating a further negative impression.

Later, Cynthia bid farewell to Kendrick, indicating that he could leave

Kendrick looked at her, his expression asiding, ‘Don’t I still need to apologize?”

Cynthia’s gaze indicated that she had already done it for him.

Kendrick remained quiet.
