Just as he was about to delete it, Cynthia asked if she could watch it first.

After finishing his meal and tidying up, Kendrick walked in and saw Joshua saving the footage onto a

USB drive.

He immediately froze,

What was going on? Why was it still being saved?!

Before Kendrick could ask, Joshua made a copy of the footage for Cynthia and deleted the one on his

end.

Cynthia and Kendrick did not linger with Joshua for long as it was already close to eleven o’clock, and

Cynthia was exhausted. Once she got in the car, she closed her eyes and fell asleep in the passenger

seat.

Kendrick wanted to ask about the copy of the footage, but seeing Cynthia’s tired face as she slept, he

could not bear to disturb

her.

They arrived at Cynthia’s home around eleven thirty at night.

After dropping Cynthia off, she handed Kendrick the USB drive before he could ask anything.

“This is what I asked Joshua to copy. Take a good look at it when you get back”

Kendrick looked puzzled, but Cynthia did not explain further. After giving him the instructions, she

freshened up and went to sleep.

Kendrick closed the door for her and left with the USB drive. When he returned home and saw the

footage, he felt like dying.
