from me,” Cynthia reassured her.

Trusting Jayleen was a risky move, but it was also the quickest solution.

without her knowledge, she would have an alternative plan to follow immediately.

Hearing Cynthia’s reassurances, Jayleen, amidst her internal struggles, chose to believe her. She

recounted the recent events to Cynthia, including the content of the message she received from that

person.

“Do you think that he knows I’m collaborating with you?” Jayleen bit her lip, feeling extremely scared.

She dared not think about the consequences if that person found out.

Cynthia replied confidently, “No, he doesn’t.”
