Cynthia fell silent again. Was he truly believing her with this clearly mocking tone?

“Anyway, if you learn when he is coming back, tell me in advance,” Cynthia, fearing he might forget,

reminded him again.

Mitchell agreed, “Alright.”

After hanging up, Cynthia handed the phone back to Jimny, her mind still racing about how to explain

things to Captain should he bring up the previous incident.

you do to offend Captain?

Jimmy’s apartment was right below hers, which she had purchased a while back but had never lived in.
