Matthew casually slid his hand into his pocket. His slender figure made him seem like he was the

protagonist stepping out of a

Cynthia took him to the residential area where she usually stayed for work and handed him the key to

clothes tomorrow, and you can officially move in.”

Matthew responded, “Alright.”

She glanced at the message only to find that Matthew had transferred her the money.

Matthew smirked.

Cynthia opened the banking app and transferred the money back to him. “Don’t transfer money to me

anymore. It’s a waste to leave this place empty, and having you live here will bring more life to the

house.”

“Are you trying to make me a freeloader?” Matthew blurted out.

Cynthia froze.

They stood there, both not saying anything.

Matthew broke the silence. “If I give it to you, just accept it. If you really don’t want to accept it, consider

it half a year’s rent.”

This area of Nexuria was highly sought after, and renting a four-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment with

a large balcony in this location would cost tens of thousands of dollars per month.

“I’m your teaminate, and I have the money to support you. It’s not about being a freeloader. It’s about

mutual assistance,” Cynthia spoke earnestly, yet with a touch of indifference.

Monday,” Cynthia explained, thinking Mitchell might have more insight on this matter.

Mitchell raised an eyebrow, a hint of surprise in his eyes. He did not expect Matthew to be so quick in

pursuing Cynthia,

“Do you have any suggestions?” Cynthia asked him.

“Captain is not familiar with office work, so you should first have him work alongside you to get

acquainted and see which areas he excels in. Once you have a clear understanding, you can assign

him a suitable role,” Mitchell provided a helpful suggestion.
