Given Joshua’s nature, he would not draft a will on a whim unless he felt he was in danger. This

probably had something to do with Sean.

“Don’t discuss this matter with Old Man Neal and the others for the time being. You’ll help him keep an

eye on the company. I’ll handle the rest”

If joshua truly made a deal with Sean for her sake, he was being absurdly foolish. Sean was not

someone who would help people just for the sake of kindness

What a fool Joshua was.

“Okay.” Yoel agreed, and the call ended,

Cynthia took a moment to compose herself. Nadia watched as she reentered from the balcony, her

face grave. “What’s wrong?

she asked with concern

“Nothing. 1’ll be out handling some business for a while. Find something to do for yourself, and don’t

intrude on prople’s homes without permission,” Cynthia reassured her.

“I’ll come with you!” Nadia blurted out.

Cynthia retained silent, her gaze fixed on Nadia. She did not say anything, yet Nadia instantly backed

down. “Okay, but you have to find the when you get back I still need to learn from you.”

“Alright.” After saying this, Cynthia went off to make arrangements. Seeing that Cynthia was genuinely

busy, Nadia, with touch of reluctance, decided to leave.

Jayleen was now free, and Cynthia no longer had to worry about her. As for the company, Moe was

there to help.

Lost in her thoughts, Cynthia dialed Moe’s number. Briefly explaining that she had some personal

matters to handle, she tasked him with overseeing the company for a while.

Hearing her words, Moe’s first response was, “Duss, are you getting married?”

“No…” Cynthia massaged her forehead, not elaborating much. “Just some personal errands. You take

the lead with company affairs. As for Matthew. find out what he excels in and assign him tasks

accordingly.”

Acknowledging her instructions, Mae said, “Understood.”

“Good,” Cynthia felt reassured.

Just as she was about to end the call, Mae halted her, “Boss.”

“What?”

“Nothing, Just… return soon. It will start getting colder soon. Remember to dress warmly when you go

out. If you need anything, let me know. I’ll arrange it.”

“Alright,” Cynthia’s mood lightened a bit.

She was often grateful for Moe’s presence, Whenever there was trouble, he was the one to manage

the company while she attended to her personal inatters.

After ending the call, she noticed it was already eight in the evening. She was considering buying

something to eat when there was a knock at the door. Expecting it to be Nadia who might have left

something behind, she was surprised to see Captain standing at the dour, a package in his hard that

smelled like food

“Captain?” She was taken aback, unsure of way be would visit her at this hour.

Without entering, Matthew simply said, “I we come for dinner.”

“You can’t skip your meals, even if you’re busy.”

Cynthia was about to decline, thinking he might have taken her sister’s playful comment seriously.

However, before she could refuse, she was whisked away by Matthew to the dining table.

At the dining table, she gazed at the two servings of food, realizing that the Captain would have ignored

her refusal anyway.
