Chapter 559
Mr. Neal, Mrs. Neal’s Gone With The Money
Chapter 559
Joshuaâs situation needed to be resolved.
II Felix wanted to take him back, Cynthia would have to take them to the airport. If Felix wanted to
leave him in Nexurla, she would have to go to Joshuaâs house and park some of his personal
belongings.
In the study, Cynthia felt a bit nervous as she called Felix. She did not know if Felix would accept
Joshuaâs current condition.
The phone connected, and Felixâs voice came through.
Cynthia did not beat around the bush and said, âUncle Felix, are you available? I want to talk to you
about Joshuaâs situation.â
âIâm available. Go ahead Felixâs voice was soft and war
âI brought Joshua from Seanâs place to my house last night. Heâs physically fine, butâ¦â Cynthia said
The words that followed were difficult to say
After all, amnesia combined with m ental regression was no small
After hearing that Joshua was physically fine, Felix felt a sense of relief, and his tone noticeably
lightened. âItâs alright, just tell me what you need to. As long as heâs alive, 1 can accept anythingâ
âHe has amnesia.â Cynthia pursed her lips.
Felix was sitting in the Presidentâs office at the Neal Group. When he heard that, his eyebrows raised
slightly, and he blurted out his concern as a father, âAre you sure heâs not pretending?
Given Joshuaâs personality, he might have been just putting on an act.
âIâm sure.â Cynthia glanced outside the study toward the living room, where Joshua was reading a
storybook on the sofa. Then, she continued, âIn addition to that, Sean mentioned that his me ntal state
has regressed to that of a five-year-old child.
âAnything else?â Felix remained extremely calm.
âThatâs it, just these two things,â Cynthia replied.
âCynthiaâ
âYes?â
âDonât be so nervous. As long as he hasnât fully lost his m ental capacity, itâs a minor issue.â Felix truly
felt relieved.
In Felixâs view, since Sean allowed Cynthia to tale Joshua away, it meant that the subsequent progress
would rely on Joshuaâs own recovery. In that case, it was only a matter of memory and m ental issues.
As long as he was not m entally disabled, Felix could easily decrive Daphne and Old Man Neal without
much worry.
Cynthia was at a loss for words.
How should she respond to that?
âBefore Joshua recovers, we might need to trouble you to take care of him. After all, Old Man Neal is
getting old, and itâs better to spare him from unnecessary worries,â Felix said.
Cynthia pursed her lips and reluctantly agreed, âAlright.â.
Felix considered all the possibilities and continued, âIf youâre busy, you can leave him with Yoel. No
need to spoil him.ââ
âHis m ental state is that of a five-year-old,â Cynthila emphasized.
Felix was not worried. âIt shouldnât be a problem. A five-year-old should be sensible.â
Cynthia glanced at the person outside who was quietly reading, not malding a fuss or causing any
trouble.
Indeed, he seemed to be quite sensible.

While Cynthia remained silent, Felix reminded her, âCynthia, thereâs one thing you should be aware of.â
âWhat is It?â
âHe might be pretending.â
Cynthia froze.
Pretending?
Felix was genuinely optimistic and explained, âWith his current condition, recovery is only a matter of
time. Heâs highly likely to continue pretending to be a child and deceive you for sympathy and attention
when he recovers his memory and me ntal
state.â
âHe probably wonât Cynthia pondered momentarily and shared her thoughts.
