Chapter 631
Mr. Neal, Mrs. Neal’s Gone With The Money
Chapter 631
âCanât you covertly help her rise to the top? As for her dreams, they donât conflict with making money.â
Joshua did not feel like talking to him anymore.
Chyler clenched his fists. If it were not for Joshua making sense, he would have given him a good
scolding for acting so smug.
âYou talk as if youâre a genius. Have you forgotten about your divorce with Cynthia over Jayleen?â With
a plan in hand, Chyler did not care about offending Joshua anymore.
âSo?â Joshua asked nonchalantly.
âWho was it that regretted so much it was pathetic?â Chyler scoffed.
Watching Chylerâs smug expression, Joshua replied calmly, âYou better watch your tone when speaking
to me. If I get annoyed, I might just reveal your upcoming plans to Ellora. You wouldnât want her to
know, right?â
Chyler sighed in exasperation.
âMoreover, I did regret it, but Cynthia has already forgiven me and even let me move into her house.â
Joshua felt this was his most triumphant moment yet.
âImpossible!â Chyler blurted out.
Although he did not know Cynthia well, he was sure of one thing. She would never look back once she
had been wronged. How could she let Joshua live with her? This was even harder to believe than if
Ellora were to forgive him.
Joshua watched him, pleased with his reaction. He then pulled out his phone, no longer concerned
about hiding anything. He clicked on a photo and passed it over. âSee for yourself.â
Chyler took the phone, looking at a picture probably taken by Cynthia during a busy moment. His brows
furrowed at once. The houseâs layout was clearly not Joshuaâs, and there was no way it was an old
photo. However, how could Cynthia allow Joshua to move in? This made no sense at all.
âShould you still doubt it, I could call her,â proposed Joshua.
Chyler was defiant. âGo ahead.â
Without skipping a beat, Joshua cast him a glance before dialing Cynthiaâs number. At that moment,
Cynthia was enjoying some leisure time with Matthew, Shirley, and her boyfriend. When she noticed
Joshuaâs incoming call, she informed her companions, then slid to answer. âHello?â
Chyler was taken aback. Her response was cordial. Where was the expected indifference and
aloofness?
âCynthia, Chyler doesnât believe Iâm staying with you. He insisted I call you,â said Joshua, a master at
stirring up trouble.
Caught off guard, Cynthia was silent. Her response could easily fuel speculations of a possible
remarriage if she confirmed Joshuaâs claim. Denying it, however, might incite a distorted reaction from
Joshua,
At this point, Chyler was completely perplexed. Joshua had called her by name, and there was no
rebuke, no frigid remarks. from Cynthia Something was definitely off.
âMoun,â Cynthia replied nonchalantly.
âWhat are you doing now?â asked Joshua.
âShopping with Shirley and the others.â
âEnjoy your time, I wonât disturb you any further.â
âMmm.â And with that, the call ended.
