If Cynthia were to beat them up, they would use the footage from that person’s phone to sue her.

Cynthia did not think too much about it. To avoid trouble, she turned around and ran without arguing

with them.

“Grab her!”

“The client said we must break her limbs.”

The voices came from behind.

Cynthia ran very fast but did not run toward home because she knew that if she did, these people

would follow her past the gate and cause trouble for her in the future.

However, the community itself was located on the outskirts of Jiverton, and there were few commercial

areas nearby. As she thought about it, she ran toward a larger open space with a surveillance camera.

“Why aren’t you running anymore?”

“I didn’t expect you to be such a fast runner!”

“I’m exhausted!”

The group of people cursed and grumbled.

Cynthia was not even out of breath, as her speed was no different from walking.

“Who sent you here?”

She only offended two people: Jayleen and Thomas.

Thomas was in the Nexuria and probably did not know she was in Jiverton. As for Jayleen… Well, she

was not smart enough to hire people to beat her up and let them choose a place without surveillance in

advance. Otherwise, she would not have done those stupid things before.

She did not seem to have offended anyone other than these two people, and it could not be Joshua.

“Don’t you know who you offended?”

“You’ve been Mrs. Neal for long enough. It’s time to step down.”

“Since you’re about to have your limbs broken, let me kindly tell you that it was Ms. Shaw who hired

us.”

“What nonsense! Our backer is clearly Mr. Neal!”

“Hahaha.”

“Let’s go get her. Ms. Shaw said whoever can break her limbs will get 150,000 USD!”

The group of people talked and discussed.

Upon hearing these words, Cynthia almost immediately ruled out Jayleen and Thomas.

After all, Thomas did not know she had married Joshua, and Jayleen simply did not have the brains for

this.

Bang!

Cynthia kicked one of them away.

As others rushed toward her, she snatched a baseball bat from one of them and swung it at them.

“What are you all standing there for? Attack her!”

“Let’s all attack her together and see how good she really is!” the leader continued to give orders.

Cynthia’s movements became even faster as she used the baseball bat to block two incoming baseball

bats and kicked two others aside.

Even so, her back was almost hit by one of their attacks. With so many people coming at her, it was

difficult to avoid all of

their bats.

She knew that she had to end this quickly.

Meanwhile, Yoel was driving Joshua back home when he happened to see people fighting.

Upon closer look, he realized it was Cynthia!

Yoel looked at the rearview mirror and reported, “Mr. Neal, Mrs. Neal is being attacked.”

Upon hearing those, Joshua became annoyed. “It’s none of my business.”
