Chapter 65
Mr. Neal, Mrs. Neal’s Gone With The Money
Chapter 65
âJust now, Mrs. Neal got hit with a baseball bat in the head.â Yoel made up a story, but he sounded
serious. Then, slowing down the car, he added, âI canât tell if sheâs bleeding.â
Upon hearing this, Joshua instinctively looked out the window and was shocked to find the scene
across the empty lot.
Six baseball bats were simultaneously aiming at Cynthia. Each person appeared fierce as if they
wanted to beat her to death.
Before his brain could fully process the situation, he blurted out, âStop the car!â
âYes, Mr. Neal.â Yoel immediately pulled over to the side of the road.
Joshua opened the car door and rushed across the road. Luckily, there were not many cars passing by
at the location. Otherwise, it could have been dangerous.
Yoel stayed behind. As a competent personal assistant, he learned not to hold Joshua back. After all,
he was not good at fighting, so it was better for him to wait here for Joshua and Cynthia to return.
Cynthia was in the midst of the fierce fight and did not notice the car not far away.
As the six baseball bats were all aiming at her, she kicked down two people without hesitation,
swinging her baseball bat at the same time.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
A loud noise echoed, and several people fell to the ground.
Cynthia stared at the remaining standing people coldly and said, âYouâre not gonna continue?â
The leader took a step back, stuttering, âEveryone⦠Everyone, attack her!â
âWe canât do it anymore!â
âThis woman is insane!â
âDidnât the client say she canât fight?â
âWhat should we do?â
The remaining people were scared.
Those who were beaten down stood up with bruised and swollen faces. At a closer look, there was
obvious fear in their eyes.
The leader spoke quickly, âWhat do you mean what should we do? Even if we canât win, we still have to
fight! Think about the 150,000 USD! You wonât have to work for a long time!â
âBut we also need to be alive to spend it,â someone said nervously.
If they continued this fight, they might not die, but they would be left crippled.
âTwo arms and two legs, thatâs only 600,000 USD.â Cynthia did not continue to fight with them. She
wanted to find the mastermind behind the scenes. âAs long as you tell me whoâs behind this, Iâll give
each of you 150,000 USD.â
Everyone paused.
150,000 USD per person!!!
Moreover, they would not even have to risk being caught for beating or killing someone.
âHey, this deal seems worth itâ¦â
âWorth it? Why is it worth it? If the other person finds out we were bought off, theyâll just send all of us
to jail!â The leader did not even realize that he had fallen into Cynthiaâs trap.
âButâ¦â
âThen what do you suggest?â
âDidnât you say 150,000 USD is enough for us not to work for a long time?â
The
group was tempted by the offer.
The leader became nervous. What should he do?
âHow come I didnât know Jayleen had such power? Or is it that you guys have something on her?â
Cynthia continued to dig at hole for them, scanning their faces one by one.
Everyone looked confused, not understanding why Jayleen was suddenly dragged into this.
Just as they were about to speak up, the leader suddenly realized something.
He could be a fool to let this opportunity to earn the 150,000 USD slip away!
âWhoâs Jayleen? We donât understand what youâre talking about.â
The leader cast a knowing glance at the others, and they began to act along with him.
