“Alright, you two, stop talking about women. Can’t we talk about something else?” Chyler said, not

wanting to hear it.

“Did you solve your problem?” Since Joshua was in a bad mood, he would surely drag his friend along.

Chyler stopped pouring the wine and casually responded, “Only things that can trouble people are

considered problems. What I have is nothing.”

“Have you found out who the father of her baby is?” Joshua continued to prod.

Chyler slammed the bottle down on the table, finally showing his emotions.

“How can I find out? You know how chaotic that circle is! It can be the director, producer, or the actors

from the same set! Even though she doesn’t know who the father is.”

Joshua and Yiordan remained silent.

“It’s not as exaggerated as you said. I think she’s a professional and good actress,” Yiordan interjected.

“You think everyone you met is nice. Whether it’s her or Cynthia, everyone’s a good person,” Chyler

fired back, taking out his anger on him.

Yiordan went quiet again.

Chyler picked up the bottle from the table and drank it all in one go, trying to drown his frustration. As

soon as he thought of the fact that the baby in her belly belonged to someone else, he felt suffocated.

“If you care so much, why not get a divorce? It seems like she wants to divorce you too.” Yiordan

poked.

Chyler’s eyes emitted a chilling sensation. Then, without thinking, he blurted out, “If I get divorced, how

can I cheat on her and let her suffer like she did to me?”

“You’re insane.”

Chyler was not in the mood to stay any longer or discuss anything further. Hence, he stood up and told

Joshua, “I’m going. back first. You guys take your time drinking.”

Then, he seemed to remember something and took out a mini perfume from his pocket, spraying it on

himself. After that, he pulled out a brand new lipstick and applied it evenly on his hand before pressing

it against his collar.

A kiss mark appeared.

Yiordan and Joshua were puzzled by Chyler’s action.

Joshua frowned at the overwhelming scent of the perfume.

“What are you doing?”

“I’m “cheating on her‘,” Chyler said with a serious expression as he tossed the perfume and lipstick

aside.

Yiordan commented, “Your method is quite unique.”

Joshua replied, “You have too much time on your hand.”

“Well, I can’t actually find a woman just for the lipstick and perfume. If she’s unfaithful to me once, I’ll

make her feel the taste of being cheated on multiple times,” Chyler replied nonchalantly.

“If she no longer likes you, she won’t be emotionally affected no matter how many times you cheat on

her. However, if she still likes you, your approach will affect her. Pregnant women’s emotions shouldn’t

fluctuate too much, as it can affect the fetus,” Yiordan advised.

Chyler stiffened but quickly replied, “It’s not my child anyway. It’s none of my business whether it affects

her emotions.”

After he finished speaking, he left.

However, both Yiordan and Joshua noticed that he wiped away the lipstick stain on his collar before

leaving.

“Let’s go too,” Yiordan said to Joshua.

Joshua’s gaze fell on the lipstick and perfume, and his eyes darkened slightly.

“You go first.”

“Okay.”

Yiordan put on his mask and hat before leaving.

It was eleven o’clock at night.

Cynthia had already finished talking to Mitchell and went home to shower.

Just as she was about to go to bed, her vibrating phone caught her attention.

She answered it on speakerphone, “Mr. Cheyne?”

Yoel glanced at Joshua sitting in the backseat, then braced himself to say, “It’s me. I need to talk to you

about something. Are you at home now?”

“Yes,” Cynthia replied.

She still had a good impression of Yoel.
