Chapter 100
Mr. Neal, Mrs. Neal’s Gone With The Money
Chapter 100
After the evidence from the last car accident came out, Joshua checked it all again and found out that it
was all valid.
Yoel still remembered Joshuaâs complex reaction at the time, which looked like someone who was too
proud to apologize after wrongly accusing someone.
âYouâre doing it,â Joshua said.
Cynthia could help him find out in the shortest possible time, but he knew his own personality. If the
results turned out to be the same as Old Man Nealâs assumption, his first reaction would be to accuse
Cynthia of ruining Jayleenâs reputation. Hence, it was better to let Yoel do the investigation.
Yoel reluctantly agreed, âOkay, Mr. Neal.â
If Cynthia knew about Joshuaâs train of thought, she would say he was overthinking it, as she would
never help him with the investigation to begin with.
At this moment, Cynthia sat in Mosesâs car and spoke up after they drove a distance. âJust drop me off
on the side of the road. Iâll call a taxi later.â
âWhat are you going back for?â Moses drove the car and looked handsome and outgoing when he
smiled. âI havenât even introduced my friend to you yet.â
Cynthia raised an eyebrow. âIsnât this just an excuse for you to leave?â
âItâs an excuse, but itâs also true,â Moses spoke. He had a likable personality.
âJoshua gave you 200,000,000 USD after the divorce. Donât you want to make that money grow?â
âAre you trying to swindle me?â Cynthia asked.
Although they had not spent much time together, every interaction with Moses had been enjoyable.
However, enjoying oneself was one thing, and understanding the person was another.
Although Cynthia was not afraid of being swindled, she still needed to ask.
âDo you think Iâm Joshua? I canât swindle you. Youâre my sisterâinâlaw. Not to mention my parents, but
if Grandpa knew I swindled you, heâd give me a beating.â
Cynthia did not reply.
The car drove a distance before she spoke again, âIâm not going with you today. I have something to do
at home.â
âDonât you want to make Joshua jealous?â Moses asked.
âWhy would I want to do that?â
âHeâs using his lover to make you jealous, so why donât you find some suitors to make him jealous?
That would be fair,â Moses said as if it were obvious.
Cynthia replied, âHow childish.â
She totally believed that this man was Joshuaâs own brother as he was relentless in pulling Joshuaâs
legs.
Moses did not drop Cynthia off halfway. Instead, he took her directly to Jivertonâs racetrack. As he
brought her in, a group of very goodâlooking people began to heckle him.
âYoung Master Neal, itâs rare for you to bring a woman along.â
âI remember someone saying they werenât interested in women?â
âMoses, donât you want to introduce her?â
âThis is my sisterâinâlaw, Cynthia.â Moses introduced her openly, jokingly saying to them, âI heard you
three had had some good projects lately. Give me two.â
The three of them were confused.
âWhy do you want projects if youâre not interested in making money?â
âI want to give Cynthia some practice. As you know, Joshua is divorcing her, and Grandpa is worried
that she canât survive after the divorce. So, he wants me to help her invest in two profitable projects,â
Moses said matterâofâfactly, with a smirk on
his face.
