Chapter Twenty: Hide and Seek.

Nala POV

How long has it been since I'm here a couple of months I think? Everything changed, I changed, I'm

just like them. I'll be strong for them, I want them to keep me. To love me. I'm getting my hopes

high in the sky, please god don't crush them-again.

Being a wolf everything is sharper everything is more intense. The guys want me to get used to their

different scent, to be able to locate them in case of danger. So what better way to do it than play

hide and seek, this is going to be fun.

I shifted to my wolf form on my own, I didn't need help this times. This form is still a bit strange I'm

not super-fast, and changing back and forth makes me hungry and sleepy, sometimes I'll need help

to go back and forth but I'm getting much better at it.

Outside they all went to hide somewhere while Zach stayed with me to offer help when needed.

"Focus on their scent, think about one of them, how he smells for you and search for it, your instinct

will help you" Zach explain to me vaguely on how to find them

I close my eyes and think about the guys they all smell like home to me, mate. the word pop in my

head.

I start my search with no plan, in particular, I'm just looking for a home, the smell of safety for me.

I first find Aidan he smells warm like burned wood and fire. I guess he stayed close to make sure I'm

okay, typical Aidan he’s always close and ready to help.

I yelp and jump when I find him feeling accomplished. He cooed and owed me telling me how good

I am and how proud he is.

I went back to my searching quest, the twins were the trickiest to find, they smell so similar to me

plus they took the game seriously and were hidden too far away from the rest.

I found the rest of the guys more easily but only guessing who it is when I'm close enough.

I was so proud of myself, I can find my mates when I want, maybe not the particular one I want but

it's a start, I'll learn the difference on another day.

Matthew came and joined us, he said we should make the game a bit more interesting. My ears

perk up, I loved the sound of that.

"How about you guys try and catch us?" ~Mathew

"I don't know baby she's not that good at running," Zach says chuckling

I look at Zach and do a deep growl, I learned that one from daddy Aidan, but mine was cute

compared to his.

"You want to play sugar?” Kyle asks me.

I jump and nod my head I like this game it sounds like fun.

"Okay we'll play but Zach and Mathew will stay with you all the time" Christian says in his alpha

voice.

I think I can ask Christian for anything and he'll still say yes, not as the other guys would ever say no

to me.

We had a head start since I wasn't that fast compared to the rest of them we ran for a little, the guys

telling me where to go and lifting me whenever I fell.

I was getting tired and the guys were closing on us. Zach decided to pick me up and run full speed. I

was cradled against his chest like a baby.

We reach a cave of some sort.

"Sorry little sis but you are slow and we want to win "Mathew inform me

"You okay? sorry, but he gets cranky if he loses. We have to win " Zach says chuckling at my

annoyed look.

"Why don't you change back and we can talk, it'll take them some time to find us" ~mathew

Changing to humans was hard, usually one of the guys help me through. But I'm a big girl and

going to do it alone. Took me some time but finally did it yey me.

"How did you two ended up here?" I ask with a raspy voice, changing is hard.

They both shared a sad smile but began to tell me their story

Mathew POV

Nala remind me of my little sister back home, she was so energized and full of life before that beast

killed her. He wasn't her true mate, but we needed the money and father sold her to an old guy. He

was a monster he killed my sister on their first night together, trying to claim her my ass. My baby

sister was an alpha she wouldn't submit to him so he forced himself on her over and over again till

she died.

I feel my eyes tearing up and Zach take my hand.

"My father wanted to sell me, to replace my sister, after the monster who mated her killed her on

their first night” ~mathew

"What!1??" ~nala

"Shush little sis and don't worry I saved him before that,” said Zach with pride.

True he did save me after my father told us about my sister and how I was going to replace her. I

ran out of the house crying, it hurt to lose her she was young only 60years old to my 75 years. Zach

saw me crying he came to comfort me.

"True he did save me, but he's an alpha son. His dad is the biggest homophobe ever"

When his dad saw us, he lost it, he had me taken to the basement. After I was all bloody and

everything hurt. He brings in Zach.

"Dad thought if he beat up Mathew, I'll reject him as a mate. When that didn't work he started

torturing me" ~zach

When Zach wouldn't reject me, they started beating him, but he kept screaming at me not to do it,

that he can take it.

"They kept us there for over a week” ~mathew

The days passed by, they either hit one of us while the other watch or beat both of us.

That night Zach's mother came down, she saw us, saw the pain in our eyes, and left.

"Mum knew they were gonna kill Mathew, they didn’t do it right away so my wolf wouldn't go crazy.

But when we refused to reject each other it had to be done. She added sleeping pills to their food.

And came and free us. She told me about a cousin of hers named Ryland, said he'll help us and here

we are " ~zach

"What happened to your mother * ~nala

"They killed her, treason” ~Zach

All three of us are crying right now and Nala jump and hug us tight just in time for Ryland to enter

the cave in wolf form and give us dark looks, yeah we are in trouble we shouldn't bring her that far

away.
