Chapter three: Briniging home Nala.

Kane POV

We've been following little Nala after our little encounter we followed her until she went to a bad

looking dinner. We couldn't just leave her there, we stayed away watching her work her little bum

serving people who kept looking at her. She's different than the other waitress, she doesn't hike her

skirt or open way too many buttons to show cleavage. That helped my wolf stay calm and not barge

in and demand she come and be safe with me. We can't just do that? Can we? We followed her

when she got out, it wasn't safe for a little thing like her to be walking on the street this late. Where

is she going??

We keep on walking until she froze, she doesn't look back but continues to walk only a bit faster.

Smart girl taking precaution, although we could beat her even if she takes off running. She kept

walking with us following behind, the lamps were our only light source, imagine my shock when one

of the street light dies and she took off running. WTF? Is she afraid?

Kyle decided to shift and stay in the shadows keeping an eye out, while I keep on following her. We

got to the park! Not her house or a police station to the cold, empty park. It all made sense now.

Shit, my baby is homeless, well that end now.

I let my presence be known so I won't scare her, and approach her slowly, trying my best not to

scare her. She looks up at me, it's too dark but I can see her thanks to my wolf vision but I doubt

that she can. She screams and curls herself on the floor while chanting "don't hurt me, don't hurt

me, don't hurt me".

I felt my heart broke at how scared she looks, she's safe now and no one is touching her. Not with

me here to protect her.

Nala POV

I'm scared, on the ground in a dirty park, praying that whoever is there won't hurt me.

Yeah, very clever Nala, way to go with being strong.

I felt a hand stroke on the back of my neck followed by

"Shush baby no need to be scared, you're safe now, daddy's here *

Holy mother of god??? Daddy??

I look up to see familiar green eyes, it's the dark twin from earlier, what's going on? Is he following

me? He's going to kidnap me? Kill me? I want Leo, my only comfort item. I feel sick in my stomach

like 1 want to vomit, cold sweat covering my body. With all these thoughts in my head, everything

goes dark.

Kyle POV

In my wolf form, I saw the little baby falling to the floor, then I saw my brother walking over to her,

he got up with the limping form of Nala.

She fainted! If Kane scared her he's dead meat, twins or not I won't let him hurt her. I change back

to my human form and approach them. Kane looked up and spoke before I had the chance

"She's scared, see that bag I don't think she got anywhere to stay if she's coming to the park let's

call Christian"

"He won't like what he's going to hear "I murmur.

"Update"

"She's with us, she kind of fainted"

"Why what happened!"

"She's scared and my guessing is she's homeless”

"Not anymore"

The line died, but that was all the encouragement we needed our baby is coming home with us and

I grin, she’s going to be the most spoiled girl in the country.

"Go put some clothes on before you scare her" Kane starts walking toward his truck while I turn

around searching for my clothes, shifting in public is messy.

By the time we got home the rest of the pack was waiting for us, all of them excited to see the girl

that got out attention. We decided to let Nala rest for the night and we'll all sit down and have a

talk with her in the morning.

Kane took her up to a spare guest bedroom and tucked her in the bed covering her fragile body

with some extra blankets. We did a quick search through her bag looking for any kind of comfort

item, a stuffy maybe or a blankie. We found a brown old looking teddy, if she's carrying it around it

probably mean something to her, we gave her the teddy and she automatically holds it close to her

chest making all of us coo at how sweet she looks.
