Chapter Twenty-six: She's back

Jennifer POV

It's been a week since my attack, sadly doctor Stefan said I'm good to go back to college.

Apparently, the amount of pack blood they pumped into my system helped the healing. I'm still a

bit sore and need to take things slowly but I'm good enough to go back to college, just my luck.

Holden has been staying with me the whole time, he even tried to sleep in my room but dad kicked

him out, so he’s back to sleeping under my window in wolf form.

We had a talk one night about him sleeping in wolf form under my window, he said he felt the need

to protect and be there for me, so every night his wolf will keep pushing him till he makes it to

under my window.

He then cupped my face and came close for a kiss, it started as a quick peck on the lips but then he

kept kissing me, till I felt his tongue against my closed lips, I gasped a little and it offered him all the

access he needed, the kiss was slow and sloppy but it was perfect. My perfect first kiss well till dad

opened the door and kicked holden out, even though he's my mate dad won't allow us to be

together till we decide to officially mate and maybe do a little party, in other words till we the wolf

version of a wedding.

Today is my and nala’s first day back, nala was suspended for a week cause she had a fight on the

college ground, while ethan was expelled.

I was too scared to go back, what will happen now, holden promised to take me for lunch and to

stay close in case i needed him. But i knew i have to depend on my self , if i want to shift first step is

to stop hiding behind everyone else.

Nala came and picked me up, she didn't look any more excited then i am.

"Ready?" she ask me and i just shake my head

"Yeah me neither" ~nala

When we reach the parking, lots of eyes were turned toward us , i could hear whispers, Nala hold

my hand and whisper to me

"Stares and whispers can't hurt us, I'm a fucking queen” ~nala

She take hold of my arm and we both walk in, her head is held high, I'm in the presence of my luna,

i feel the urge to bow my head in submission, she squeeze my arm lightly and i take her lead,

keeping my head high and ignoring everyone.

I can't believe it worked, no one even dared to ask us anything, some did talk to me asking about

my health and how happy they are that I'm okay. Well shocker.

Only one or two shifter had enough courage to get close to Nala and ask her a question, one of

them was out of utter respect and owws he even said

"When i become beta i wanna be just like you" to which nala responded with kindness and a smile

on her face.

The other guy was a total jackass who said " don't think you are the princess of this college now

bitch" he sneered at her.

She replied in an even voice " princess? No bitch I'm the fucking queen” and kept walking like

nothing happened.

Woww i know my luna was a badass but this is a new level, when we made it to her car to go meat

holden for lunch she took a deep breath and hunched in her seat

"Please god make them forget all this soon" ~nala

"You were a total badass today" i say like she's my new celebrity crush. She gives me a weak smile

and start driving.

Nala POV

Today was exhausting to say the least, i tried to act like a queen , i ignored the whispers and the

stares but by the end of the day i was exhausted.

I'm taking jenny over to the nearby dinner so we can have lunch with holden, after i park and we

walk in, i can hear whispers about me even here. Apparently I'm the big news around here and

everyone is talking about me. Walking toward an empty table i see the back of a very sexy but

familiar butt, when we got close i can see it's Christian. Well thank god i can use some support right

now.

He turn to me and open his arms

"How was my baby first day back" he ask while engulfing me in a big hug.

I don't reply and just hug him close, i need all the love he can offer me now.

We sat and ate our lunch, while hearing more murmurs about me , some about how I'm mated to

seven guys others about my fight and i even heard a couple that made me laugh.

Apparently I'm a gold digger and sleep with whoever pays me best, another is my mother was a slut

and I'm not sure who my father is so i call all seven of them daddy.

I ate my lunch quietly and stucked to marcus for the rest of the day, we visited some pack member

who live in town and not on pack territory. We went to the bank which was boring, Christian gave

me his phone to play with so I'll stop whining it was fun.

Christian: "Make nala chicken nuggets and her favorite cookies for dinner she deserve them"

Jace: "sure alpha"

Christian: " I'm giving Nala permission to watch the new conjuring movie"

Zach: "you sure it's a horror movie"

Christian: " yes I'm sure let her watch it, alpha orders”

Before i could send any more of my demands Christian took his phone back.

The rest of the day passed okay , i had chicken nuggets and cookies for dinner and watched the

conjuring with Zach which was terrifying.

I screamed at the first jump scare and Christian came running to zach room.

"What's going on? I heard a scream" ~Christian

Christian look at the tv and then at me and i shrunk back, i already asked permission to watch this

movie and he said no.

"Nala come here," he says and i shake my head.

He comes toward me and drags me of the bed landing five hard swats on my ass "aouchhh

aouchhh....stopppp...daddy".

He dragged me toward his bed and refused to give me cuddles as a punishment.

Good thing I'm too cute to be denied for long , when i started to fall asleep i felt Christian arms

around me.
