The woman wore a windbreaker and underneath it, she seemed to be wearing her work clothes in

white. “Are you a doctor?” Ann asked. Yan Shu replied reservedly, “Yes. I’m doing my housemanship at

the First Hospital. I’m actually a medical houseman. Let’s go.”

As she said that, she took over the luggage. When they were walking towards the exit, Yan Shu

suddenly realized that Eric’s eyes were glaring on the airport’s big screen.

The man’s eyes were cold and distant. That alone had kept him aloof and apart from the crowd.

When they noticed Eric’s gaze, both Ann and Yan Shu looked in the same direction.

Ann could not resist laughing at the nickname she gave to Lu Jinye.

“Yes, because Mr. Lu is already married to Xiao Qingqing, the once smashing star. Many people dream

of marrying Mr. Lu but since he is already married, the only option left is to let him be the home

wrecker.”

Yan Shu explained with a grin on her face.

“By the way, do you have a Chinese name? I find it difficult to call you Ann. Do you mind if I give you a

Chinese name?”

Yan Shu turned around and looked at Ann seriously. Ann shook her head and said, “No.”

Yan Shu frowned and thought for a moment. She then suggested, “Shan Cha, Chuan Bei, Mu Xiang,

Yu Zhu, Mu Zhi, Bai Zhi, Bai Kou, Bai He, Zhu Sha, Lian Qiao, Ban Xia… Choose one.”

Hearing these strange-sounding names, Ann could not help laughing.

“What are they? Why do they sound so strange?”

“These are the pinyin of the Chinese herbals. I think it is suitable for a person’s name. You may choose

one…”

“Mu…” Ann could not remember everything Yan Shu had said. However, there was one name that

stood out, and it sounded familiar to her.

But she could not recall the full name.

“Bai Zhi! Do you also think that this name sounds good? From today onwards, I will call you Bai Zhi. If

you like it, you may continue using this name. If you don’t, just forget about it.”

“Wait. The one before that, Mu something? I find it strangely familiar.”

“Mu Zhi?”

Yan Shu was stunned.

After giving it a thought, she said, “You can be called Mu Zhi if you want. It’s a really nice name.”

She pointed to the figure of Lu Jinye, who was appearing on the screen and said, “Rumor has it that Lu

Jinye’s lover was named Mu Zhi and she died in an accident. I think this name might not be

“I choose the name Mu Zhi.”

get to know this city.”

After Yan Shu finished speaking, she then led the way to the city.

Ann, also known as Mu Zhi, had been living in the States and Switzerland. She would travel to many

places whenever she was free. However, her husband, Xie Xiu often had to travel to City A for work,

treatment for psychological disorders?”

appointment for me?”

Shu.
