Chapter 67 We No Longer Have To Hide

Xiao Qingqing hid behind Lu Jinye, eyes fixed at the producer. She could not help but smirk at the sight

of him kneeling on the ground.

Meanwhile, Lu Jinye did not even bat an eye at the disgusting producer. He removed his coat and

pulled it over Xiao Qingqing, held her hands, and headed out the door.

Lu, you’ve been telling me to keep an eye on rumors regarding you. May I know if novel-like, blatant

fake stories count as a rumor?”

The person in charge seemed to be troubled as he asked.

situation.

Lu Jinye scowled.

“That means…” The person in charge stammered but decided to tell him everything he saw about Mu

Zhi’s past love.

The main characters of the story were Mu Zhi and Lu Junnian, while Lu Jinye was merely a fill-in

character, playing the role of a keyboard warrior.

It was astonishing that the person in charge had to bring all these to Lu Jinye’s attention.

True enough, a dash of gloominess instantly appeared on his face when he heard the story.

After a long moment, he muttered, “What the hell are you waiting for? Hurry up and fix it! Are you

hoping for more rumors to form before making a move?!”

The man from public relations immediately trembled at Lu Jinye’s voice.

He promptly agreed and hung up the call.

Even though Xiao Qingqing could not hear what was said on the phone from where she was standing,

she could surmise it from his response.

It should be related to Mu Zhi’s ‘love story’.

There were barely any patients at the hospital today. Mu Zhi had been secretly keeping track of the

When the previous rumor broke out regarding her and Lu Junnian’s affair, she could not wait to send

“You should be going to grandpa’s right? I’m heading there too, let’s go.”

If Lu Junnian were to go to the Lu’s Manor and she was to show up with him, wasn’t that asking for

farewell before hopping into the bus.

She took the bus to the nearest subway station and took the subway to the nearest station to the
