Chapter 8 Can I See Your Wife?

Xiao Qingqing looked at Lu Jinye from behind and said nothing. Suddenly, there was a knock on the

door.

Lu Jinye said, “Come in.”

Mu Zhi first took a glance inside before entering. Then she said, “Mr. Lu, I’d like to ask for leave to visit

a friend’s mother at the hospital.”

Lu Jinye raised his eyebrows, looked at Mu Zhi, and instantly nodded his head, “Would you like the

driver to send you?”

Mu Zhi could feel Xiao Qingqing’s eyes fixed on her as soon as she entered the room.

“No, no, no, I can just take a cab there myself. The hospital is just nearby too.”

Xiao Qingqing’s gaze made Mu Zhi extremely uncomfortable. Mu Zhi quickly refused Lu Jinye and left.

talk about her mother’s treatment plan.

“Um, dean, how long will this treatment cycle be?”

The dean checked the treatment plan and continued, “Because 98% or your mother’s brain cells are

for the cells to replace themselves.”

“How about the cost?”

Mu Zhi bit her lip and tried to negotiate with the dean again, “Is the fee negotiable? 80 million is

relatively…”

this experiment too.”

with the patient’s family about this first.”
