Her words made Xia Ling’s mood even worse.

She returned to her room unhappily. Xia Ling locked herself up and wasn’t willing to see anyone.

Xia Yu went to find Pei Ziheng. “Brother Ziheng, Sister was persuaded by me for a while and feels much better now. You don’t have to worry. She’s a little tired and has gone back to sleep.”

Pei Ziheng heaved a sigh of relief. There was a knock on the door.

Pei Ziheng said, “Come in.”

Chu Chen walked in wearing a dark black suit with his hair combed back meticulously. He lowered his head slightly in front of Pei Ziheng and said respectfully, “Boss, the car is ready, you can depart anytime.”

Pei Ziheng said to Xia Yu, “Take good care of your sister. I’ll come back to see her at night.”

Chu Chen raised his head after hearing this and interrupted. “Boss, didn’t you just ask me to set a date with Jason? He told me there’s no problem and asked for you to please meet him at the club in the evening.”

Pei Ziheng paused and said to Xia Yu, “I’ll come back tomorrow. Call me if anything happens.”

Xia Yu obediently said yes and watched as the two men walked out. When they were far away, she slowly walked down and inadvertently walked to the coffee bar on the first floor and chatted with a few subordinates who Pei Ziheng had brought along on the business trip. “Brother Ziheng went out early in the morning, don’t you have to follow him?”

Several subordinates looked at each other and smiled kindly. “Miss Xia Yu, come sit here. How do you feel today, is your body still okay? Xia Yu asked curiously, “What’s the Blue Dream Club?”

They discussed with great interest.

Xia Yu stood behind the narrow partition wall. The more she listened, the darker her expression became.

Every item was in line with Xia Ling.

She entered a discount mall and bought cheap clothing that was not aesthetically pleasing. She then took off her expensive dress and placed it inside the cabinet and walked out wearing cheap clothes.

She poked a few holes in the clothes and made a few rolls in the green belt. She put mud on her face and looked almost like a beggar wandering the streets. She was dirty and ugly. She found a river to look at her reflection and was satisfied. She was finally satisfied. She took out the map she drew and walked in the direction of the red light district.
