Gu Lin turned around several times admiring herself in the mirror.

“The material of this dress is too cheap.” She said as she looked at herself. “It can’t bring out my elegance.”

“Yes, yes. Miss, you are the most perfect person.” Her personal assistant was familiar with Gu Lin’s temper after working for her for some time now and hurried to curry favor with her. “Your elegance... @#$%...#@*#...”

“What?” Gu Lin couldn’t hear him clearly.

The noise from outside was becoming louder. The personal assistant could only smile and repeat what he said in a louder voice.

Her words made many of the other salespeople see red.

Objectively speaking, the sales lady that had been at the unfortunate end of her fury was not ugly at all. She was regarded as the prettiest one in the store and was going to hold a wedding with her beloved fiance in two weeks. Everyone had given her their blessings and well wishes. However, she now had a long cut on her face, and there was no knowing if it would recover in time for her wedding.

The manager on duty shot a glance at another salesperson. “Xiao Zhou, go take a look.” He then told Gu Lin, “Miss Gu, please wait a moment. It’s usually not so noisy outside. We are trying to find out what’s going on. You look really good in this dress, it really suits your complexion. You look like a royal princess.”

“Really?” Gu Lin’s attention was successfully diverted as she turned back to the mirror to admire herself.

“Of course it’s real.” The manager on duty continued to curry favor but felt only disdain for her in his heart. Did she think she was all high and mighty? All she had was a rich dad! If she wasn’t born to a rich family, she wouldn’t even qualify to be hired at this store with her intellect, or the lack thereof!

Gu Lin hadn’t admired herself in the mirror for a long time before the salesperson returned from outside.

Gu Lin was upset. “Why are you back already? It’s still so noisy outside! Do you not know how to solve the problem?!”

The salesperson stuttered and didn’t know how to explain.

“What’s going on?” The manager on duty asked.

The salesperson glanced at the manager before responding, “Outside.. outside... Ye Xingling is here with a whole entourage of fans and the media. They appear to be looking for Miss Gu.”

“Ye Xingling?” The manager on duty looked confused. “Which Ye Xingling?”

“That.. the Diva Ye Xingling!”
