Part 31

Days went by .Anjali and Shyam shifted to their new home two days back. Khushi came to know about what Anjali said from both Payal and Arnav,but she was shocked when Arnav went against his di for her. Today both Akash and Arnav came to Gupta house with an invitation to attend a party to celebrate the success of AR'a new venture. Her parents and buaji politely refused to attend it because of their health issues. But Arnav was persistent on having Khushi in his party that he directly went and asked Guptas to take her with him for the party. Garima and Shashi were reluctant but buaji convinced them and then later she also informed them about Arnav's attempt to peruse Khushi. Garima was first in denial with the whole idea but later she was okay with little convincing from buaji and Shashi. So now everyone in the family knew Arnav's love towards Khushi and how he is waiting for Khushi's acceptance. Garima decided to leave the decision for Khushi and to support her in whatever she decides. All she wants is her daughters to be happy.

Arnav came to pick Khushi from her home. Now that everyone is aware of what is going on between him and Khushi, he became more open. After spending some time with her talking about the arrangements and about some of his associates he was forced to leavewhen Aman requested his presence in some of the discussion with business associates, so he reluctantly left her with Payal. Nani was not attending the party and Manorama was busy with some of her kitty party friends and Anjali with some of Arnav's acutance. Arnav's circle when Khushi joined Payal who was sitting in a corner, they were talking about random things when Akash took Payal to introduce her to some of his friends.

Khushi was not comfortable in that ambiance. She was not used to places like this where both men and women had drinks in a their hands, wearing modern dresses which barely leaves anything for imagination. She felt overly dresses wearing a chiffon black saree.

Then she noticed her Arnav having conversation with a beautiful lady. Lisa one of the model she knew from the time she worked in AR. Lisa was acting over friendly with Arnav and was becoming more touchy. Hugging him, flirting with him .This is what Khushi always feared off. She saw Lisa trying to take Arnav to the dance floor. Jealousy started reeking from her heart. She had experience this all the time when she used to see Lavanya with Arnav. Her line of thoughts got disturbed by a loud screech

"Chamkili" Pam stood there with scrutiny eyes .

"What are doing here?" Pam and sim now came and sat near her.

"She must be here for cleaning after the party or else why will a low class girl like her be in a party like this" Sim sprouted but before they could talk more non sense

"Khushi" Arnav called

"seeing Arnav Pam and sim quickly stood up eager to watch a show where Khushi will be humiliated like the incidents that happened in the past but they were shocked when Arnav sat near her and held her hand.

"I am so sorry. Something or the other caught me all these time. Did you get bored sitting here alone. I promise I won't go anywhere from now on. "Arnav quickly called a server and got her a nonalcoholic drink.

Pam and sim stood there with open mouth "What the hell is actually happening here? ASR doting over Chamkili!!"But soon left the place when Arnav gave them his ASR look

"You didn't went for dance. I saw Lisa asking for one" Khushi asked .Arnav could see through her words. He has experienced this feeling when he use to see NK with Khushi. He smiled a little and then said

"Ho,She thought she had a chance with me now that I have broke up with La. But I clearly told her she will never ever have one with me as I am already head over heal with a girl .

"Really, who is that?" Khushi too played along

"hey ek ladki..thoda si Pagal hai par muje vho bahot pyaari lagthi hai.".If you want I can touch and show you that girl or better kiss and show" Arnav said with a naughty smile .Khushi looked at him and they were lost in each other's eyes when Nk interrupted their moment

"Khushiji ...I haven't seen you for so many days. How are you?.Ho ..nannav...are you both getting naughty naughty in a party....."

Nk will you shut up and go somewhere else and eat some else brain."

"Ho..nannav..Chusa"

"Chusa nahi nannhji..gussa.."Khushi corrected him

"Ha wahi."Arnav shook his head as if saying he will never change. After he left Arnav again went back to their previous topic of discussion

"So tell me Khushi, shall I show you the girl I love. The girl I want to be with for my entire life. The girl I see with whom I want a family, the girl I see myself lean for support in my old age "Arnav asked cupping the cheek of her face .Khushi could say the intensity of his feeling from his words. She no more needs any assurance. Yes she will say him what her heart desire for.

"I can see it in your eyes Arnavji"

"Can you Khushi..So tell me.. are you willing to give this a chance? Give me a chance to cherish you?" Arnav asked but right at that moment Payal and Akash joined them. Khushi hid her smile seeing the irritation in Arnav's face. Rest of that night as promised Arnav never left her side. Making sure her needs are taken care of. Anjali stood with her mami seeing her chotte dotting over Khushi when previously it was she who enjoyed his undivided attention. But next moment a hand wrapped around her waist.

"Rani sahiba.." That was the moment Anjali realized time did change. Now she was not just a sister but a wife who was blessed with a caring husband too.

Later that night Arnav took Khushi back to Gupta house.The whole time during their drive Khushi avoided answering Arnav's question .She talked random things to him that he couldn't get time to ask her again. Once they reached Lakshmi Nagar, Khushi opened the car door. She held the door without closing it.

"Arnavji..I am a very possessive woman. I don't like other women getting cozy with my man. So next time make sure no one get so touchy with you." She didn't wait for Arnav to respond. She just went away closing the door towards her home .It took a moment for Arnav to realize what actually she implied. By the time he got down from car and called her she was at Gupta 's door. She turned back and gave him a beautiful full blown smile and went inside the home. Arnav stood the same place there grinning.
