Chapter 34: His Status (1)

“Did you forget how you pushed me into the bathtub half a month ago?” The youth said this coldly and stared expressionlessly at Ye Yu.

Ye Yu remained silent for 2 seconds and blinked her eyes, asking, “I actually did this before?”

Then her expression turned to one of bitterness and hate. “If you can give me another chance to turn over a new leaf, I will definitely not make the same mistake again.”

The youth remained expressionless and after 2 seconds, he looked down and his slender eyebrows on his jade-like face made him faintly look gloomy and upset.

“You want to dissociate yourself from me that badly.”

Ye Yu’s gaze flickered and she was surprised. But moments after, she recalled that ever since she picked up 500 silvers, he had been by her side… it wasn’t strange for the youth to have guessed something.

Ye Yu placed away her feelings and smiled at the youth, saying, “I just think that we both have a lot of trouble on our plates. It’s already very annoying to bother one another with issues, so why bother implicating ourselves even more?”

Saying this, she pursed her lips and looked regretful. “My gut feeling tells me that the more we entangle each other in the situation, the more troublesome it would be.”

Ye Yu was helpless and explained, “Because he’s a dog and you’re a human.”

“If you were given another chance to return to the start, you will act like you didn’t see me, right?”

Ye Yu was stunned for a second.

She didn’t hold any doubts that if she nodded right now, this youth who had been holding in his emotions will immediately turn around and leave her. But she was unable to open her mouth.

But the moment before the youth’s fingertips were about to touch her wrist, the phone in Ye Yu’s pocket suddenly rang.

The two both paused and after a moment, they both looked over with complicated expressions.

Ye Yu felt extremely awkward and although she wanted something to interrupt them right now, she definitely was not hoping for her phone to do so.

After all, the youth was too smart and she didn’t want any information to be used against her by him or any personal details to land in his hands.

… hopefully, he could pretend that he didn’t hear it.

“What was that?” The youth looked strangely at Ye Yu.

The latter shook her head and said, “Nothing.”

Without looking, she knew that another chapter must’ve been unlocked.

But the phone seemed to be going against her wishes. Almost after Ye Yu stopped talking, the ‘brick’ in her pocket suddenly vibrated again.
