Chapter 112
Substitutee Marriage: Fallingg For My Ugly Wifee
âDoes it really hurt, sweetheart? Come on, stick out your tongue and kiss me.â
If Millie could disappear in that moment, she would have. She was mortified. How were the walls so thin? The non-existent
soundproof wasnât helping,
Millie expected Marcus to be just as embarrassed as she was. But when she looked up, she saw a man that was totally
unaffected by whatever was going on in the next room.
She wondered how he could remain so calm when she was a mess inside.
Suddenly, a mischievous idea came to Millieâs mind. She stood on tiptoe and brought her lips close Marcusâ ear.
âHoney, why do people stick out their tongues when kissing? It makes no sense.â
Marcus narrowed his eyes at the mischievous glint in Millieâs eyes and replied simply, âAsk again and you'll get your answer.â
Was he daring her?
Millie stuck out her tongue for a brief second and asked boldly, âSince you didnât hear me, | asked why people have to stick out
their tongue to kiss.â
Suddenly, Marcusâ gaze turned dark, and his face turned a little red.
He knew that Millie was just teasing him, and that he should control himself.
But damn it! She had broken through his defences and successfully wiped away his self-control. Looking down at her, her rosy
cherry-like lips suddenly seemed so irresistible. And her big innocent eyes, blinking up at him, seemed to pull him in.
The sounds in the next room got so loud that it was impossible to ignore.
Seeing that Marcus wasnât making any move to leave, Millie huffed in annoyance and pressed her hands to her ears to block out
the sounds.
Just as soon, Marcus pulled her hands down and said in a seductive voice, âYou asked why people stick out their tongues when
kissing, right? Why donât we test and find out?â
As he spoke, Marcus leaned in until his lips were hanging over Millieâs rosy ones.
Millieâs eyes went wide in alarm.
âWhat the hell has gotten into you? Back off!â
Marcus couldnât seem to find the strength to move away. He had lost control. His once sleeping heart was brutally awakened.
Millie couldn't believe that her innocent words had caused this.
Now she understood why they said all men thought with the lower part of their bodies.
Aknock at the door saved Millie.
