Chapter 1219
Substitutee Marriage: Fallingg For My Ugly Wifee
A servant soon approached her.
âMiss Shera, Miss Rhea has been requesting to speak with you.â
Shera sneered.
âIgnore her.â
âSheâs been persistently calling for you since you left. It seems like sheâs not going to stop until she
talks to you,â the servant reported.
Shera understood that Rhea couldnât tolerate being confined to the warehouse. However, that wasnât
enough for Shera; she wanted Rhea to taste the suffering she had endured.
Setting down her bag, Shera decided to pay Rhea a visit.
The moment Shera entered the warehouse, Rheaâs eyes welled up with tears as she complained, âDad
wonât forgive you once he learns what youâve done to me.â
Shera crossed her arms over her chest.
Angelaâs Library
âDad wonât find out. Heâs abroad, and no one will inform him. I heard youâve been shouting all day. Iâd
advise you to conserve your energy. The worst is yet to come.â
Rheaâs agitation grew as she listened. Indeed, how could she inform Bolton of her imprisonment? She
had been entirely cut off from the outside world.
âHow much Longer will you keep me locked up?â she asked.
Rhea was immobilized because her hands and feet were bound. To make matters worse, the untreated
wound on her abdomen throbbed with escalating agony.
âIâll keep you locked up for however long you kept me locked up before. However, Iâll show you some
mercy. In a few days, Iâll let you out to enjoy some sunlight.â
âShera, look at me. Iâm injured. If you donât take me to a hospital, Iâll die!â said Rhea.
Shera arched her eyebrows sternly.
âIâll have you sent to the hospital and ensure youâre healed before you die from your wound.â
Desperation gripped Rhea. Being imprisoned like this was much worse than dying.
âKeep a close watch on her. Silence her if she shouts again.â
Upon exiting, Shera was handed a document.
âMiss Evans, this contains the information you requested about Millie.â
Shera perused the pages meticulously.
âIs her grandmother important to her?â
âYes, Miss Evans. This elderly lady holds immense significance for Millie. Itâs a possible starting point.â
